Psalms 34
1 I will always thank Yahweh; I will constantly praise him [MTY].
೧ದಾವೀದನು ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಚ್ಚನಂತೆ ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಾಗ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ಆತನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದು.
2 I will boast about what Yahweh [has done]. All those who are oppressed/discouraged should hear me and rejoice.
೨ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು; ಇದನ್ನು ದೀನರು ಕೇಳಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವರು.
3 Join with me in telling others that Yahweh is great! You and I should together proclaim how glorious he is!
೩ನನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ; ನಾವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸೋಣ.
4 I prayed to Yahweh, and he (answered my prayer/did what I asked him to do); he rescued me from [all those who caused me] to be afraid.
೪ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು, ಆತನು ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
5 Those who trust [IDM] that he [will help them] will be joyful; (they will never be disappointed/he will always do for them the things that he promises) [LIT].
೫ಆತನನ್ನೇ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದವರು ಪ್ರಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದರು; ಅವರ ಮುಖವು ಅವಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಈಡಾಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
6 I was miserable/helpless, but I called out to Yahweh, and he heard me. He rescued me from all my troubles.
೬ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕೇಳಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಧೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು.
7 An angel from Yahweh guards those who revere him, and the angel rescues them.
೭ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರ ಸುತ್ತಲು, ಆತನ ದೂತನು ದಂಡಿಳಿಸಿ, ಕಾವಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
8 Find out for yourself, and you will experience that Yahweh is good to you! He is very pleased with those who ask him to protect them.
೮ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮನೆಂದು ಅನುಭವದಿಂದ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಆತನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಧನ್ಯರು.
9 All you who belong to him, revere him! Those who do that will always have the things that they need [LIT].
೯ಯೆಹೋವನ ಜನರೇ, ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರಿ; ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕೊರತೆಯೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
10 Lions [are usually] very strong, [but sometimes] even young lions are hungry and become weak, but those who trust in Yahweh will (have everything/not lack any good thing) [LIT] [that they need].
೧೦ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹಗಳಾದರೋ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಸಿದಾವು; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಒಳಿತಿಗೆ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಲ್ಲ.
11 You (who are my students/whom I teach), come and listen to me, and I will teach you how to revere Yahweh.
೧೧ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರಾ, ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಯವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಲಿಸುವೆನು.
12 If [RHQ] any of you wants to enjoy life and have a good long life,
೧೨ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯವು ಬೇಕೋ? ಬಹುದಿನ ಬದುಕಿ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕೋ?
13 do not say anything that is evil! Do not tell lies!
೧೩ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾದುಕೋ; ವಂಚನೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಿಡದೆ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೋ.
14 Turn away from doing evil, and do what is good! Always try hard to enable people to live peacefully [with each other.]
೧೪ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡು; ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹಾರೈಸಿ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಪಡು.
15 Yahweh [MTY] carefully watches over those who [act] righteously; he always responds [MTY] to them when they call [to him for help].
೧೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವರು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವಾಗ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
16 But Yahweh [SYN] (is opposed to/turns away from) those who do what is evil. [And after they die], people will forget them completely.
೧೬ಕೆಡುಕರಿಗೋ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕೋಪದ ಮುಖವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರುವನು; ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ನೆನಪೇ ಉಳಿಯದಂತೆ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವನು.
17 Yahweh hears righteous people when they call out to him; he rescues them from all their troubles.
೧೭ಯೆಹೋವನು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
18 Yahweh is always ready to help those who are discouraged; he rescues those who have nothing good to hope for.
೧೮ಮುರಿದ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನೆರವಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದವರನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧಾರಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
19 Righteous people may have many troubles, but Yahweh rescues them from all those troubles.
೧೯ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಅನೇಕವಿದ್ದರೂ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
20 Yahweh protects them from being harmed; [when their enemies attack them], they will not break any bones of those righteous people.
೨೦ಆತನು ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಮುರಿದುಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
21 Wicked people will be killed by their own evil deeds (OR, by [people doing to them] the same evil things [that the wicked do to others]) [PRS], and Yahweh will punish those who oppose righteous people.
೨೧ದುಷ್ಟನ ಕೆಡುಕು ಅವನನ್ನೇ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದು; ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರು ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವರು.
22 Yahweh will save those who serve him. He will (not condemn/forgive) [LIT] those who trust in him.
೨೨ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆತನ ಆಶ್ರಿತರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದರೂ ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
