Psalms 31
1 Yahweh, I have come to you to be protected; do not allow me to be [defeated, with the result that I am] disgraced. Since you always do what is fair/right, rescue me!
१मुख्य गायकासाठी; दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्यामध्ये मी आश्रय धरिला आहे, कधीच माझी निराशा होऊ देऊ नकोस. तुझ्या न्यायात मला वाचव.
2 Listen to me, and save me right now! Be [like] a huge rock [under which I can hide] [MET] and [like] a strong fort in which I will be safe.
२माझे ऐक, त्वरीत मला वाचव, माझ्या आश्रयाचा खडक हो. माझा तारणारा बळकट दुर्ग असा हो.
3 Yes, you are [like] my huge rock and my fort; guide me and lead me [DOU] in order that I can honor you [MTY].
३कारण तू माझा खडक आणि माझा दुर्ग आहेस, तर तुझ्या नामास्तव मला मार्गदर्शन कर आणि मला चालव.
4 You are the one who protects me, so keep me from falling into the hidden traps [that my enemies have set for me].
४त्यांनी गुप्तपणे रचलेल्या सापळ्यातून तू मला उपटून बाहेर काढ. कारण तू माझा आश्रय आहे.
5 Yahweh, you are a God who can be trusted, so I put myself into your care because you rescued me.
५मी आपला आत्मा तुझ्या हाती सोपवून देतो, हे परमेश्वरा, सत्याच्या देवा, तू मला खंडून घेतले आहे.
6 Yahweh, I hate those who worship useless idols, but I trust in you.
६जे निरुपयोगी मूर्तींची सेवा करतात, त्यांचा मी तिरस्कार करतो. परंतु मी परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेवतो.
7 I will be very glad [DOU] because you faithfully love me. You see me when I have been afflicted, and you have known when I have had troubles.
७तुझ्या प्रेमदयेमध्ये मी आनंद आणि हर्ष करीन, कारण तू माझे दु: ख पाहिले आहेस.
8 You have not allowed my enemies to capture me; instead, you have rescued me from danger.
८तू मला माझ्या शत्रूंच्या हाती सोपवून दिले नाहीस. तू माझा पाय खुल्या विस्तीर्ण जागेत स्थिर केला आहे.
9 [But now], Yahweh, be kind to me [again] because I am distressed. Because I cry [so much], I cannot see well, and I am completely exhausted.
९परमेश्वरा, माझ्यावर दया कर, कारण मी दु: खात आहे. माझे डोळे, माझा जीव, माझ्या देहासह क्षीण झाला आहे.
10 I have become very weak because I am [so] miserable, and it is causing my life to become shorter. I have become weak because of all my troubles; even my bones are becoming weaker.
१०कारण माझे आयुष्य दु: खात आणि कण्हण्यात माझी वर्षे गेली आहेत. माझ्या पापांमुळे माझी शक्ती क्षीण झाली आहेत, आणि माझी हाडे झिजली आहेत.
11 All of my enemies make fun of me, and [even] my neighbors despise me. [Even] my friends are afraid of me [because they think I am being punished by God], and when they see me on the streets, they run away.
११माझ्या शत्रूंमुळे लोक माझा तिरस्कार करतात माझ्या शेजाऱ्यास माझी परिस्थिती भयावह आहे, आणि जे मला ओखळतात त्यांना मी भय असा झालो आहे.
12 People have forgotten me like they forget people who are dead. [They think I am as useless] as a broken pot.
१२मृत पावलेल्या मनुष्यासारखा मी झालो आहे, ज्याची कोणी आठवण करत नाही. मी फुटलेल्या भांड्यासारखा झालो आहे.
13 I have heard people slandering me, and they have caused me to become terrified. My enemies are making plans in order to kill me.
१३कारण पुष्कळांनी केलीली निंदा मी ऐकली आहे, प्रत्येक बाजूनी भयावह बातमी आहे, ते माझ्याविरुध्द कट करत आहेत.
14 But Yahweh, I trust in you. You are my God.
१४परंतु परमेश्वरा माझा तुझ्यावर विश्वास आहे. तूच माझा देव आहेस, असे मी म्हणतो.
15 My whole life [MTY] is in your hands; save me from my enemies, from those who pursue me.
१५माझे वेळ तुझ्या हातात आहे. मला माझ्या शत्रूंच्या आणि जे माझा पाठलाग करतात त्यांच्या हातातून सोडव.
16 Be kind to me and rescue me because you always faithfully love me.
१६तुझ्या सेवकावर तुझ्या मुखाचा प्रकाश चमकू दे. तुझ्या प्रेमदयेत मला तार.
17 Yahweh, I call out to you, so do not allow me to be disgraced. I desire that wicked people will be disgraced; I want them to [soon die and] go down to the place where the dead people are. (Sheol h7585)
१७परमेश्वरा, मला निराश होऊ देऊ नकोस, कारण मी तुला हाक मारतो, दुष्ट निराश केला जावो, मृतलोकांत तो निःशब्द होवो. (Sheol h7585)
18 I desire that you will cause people [MTY] who tell lies to be unable to speak. Do that to people who are proud and those who arrogantly accuse righteous people.
१८खोटे बोलणारे ओठ शांत केले जावोत, जसे ते नितीमानांच्याविरूद्ध असत्य आणि तिरस्काराने उद्धटपणे बोलतात.
19 You have stored up many blessings for those who revere you. You do those good things for those who go to you to be protected; everyone sees you doing that.
१९जे तुझा आदर बाळगतात त्यांच्यासाठी तू आपला थोर चांगूलपणा जपून ठेवला आहे, जे तुझ्यामध्ये आश्रय घेतात त्यांच्याकरिता तू सर्व मानवजाती समोर घडवून आणतोस.
20 You hide people in your presence where it is safe, and protect them from people who plot [to kill them]. You hide them in safe places from their enemies [MTY] who accuse/insult them.
२०त्यांना आपल्या उपस्थितीच्या आश्रयात तू मनुष्याच्या कटापासून लपवशील. हिंसक जीभेपासून तू त्यांना मंडपात लपवशील.
21 Praise Yahweh! When my enemies surrounded the city [in which I was living], he showed me in a wonderful way that he faithfully loves me.
२१परमेश्वर धन्यवादित असो! कारण त्याने बळकट नगरात आपली आश्चर्यकारक प्रेमदया दाखवली आहे.
22 I was afraid, and I cried out, “I have been separated from Yahweh!” but you heard me and answered my cry for help.
२२मी घाईत म्हणालो, मी तुझ्या नजरेसमोरून छेदून टाकलो आहे, तरी तू माझी मदतीची विनंती ऐकली, जेव्हा मी तुझ्याकडे आरोळी केली.
23 You people who belong to Yahweh, love him! Those who are loyal to him, he protects, but those who are very proud, he punishes them severely like they deserve to be punished.
२३अहो सर्व परमेश्वराच्या मागे चालणाऱ्यांनो, त्याच्यावर प्रीती करा. कारण परमेश्वर विश्वासू लोकांचे रक्षण करतो. परंतु तो गर्विष्ठ्यांची परत फेड करतो.
24 You who confidently expect Yahweh [to do great things for you], be strong, be courageous!
२४जे तुम्ही परमेश्वरावर विश्वास करता, बलवान व धैर्यवान व्हा.
