Psalms 29
1 You angels in heaven, praise Yahweh! Praise him because he is very glorious and powerful.
ए परमेश्वरका छोराहरू हो, परमप्रभुलाई श्रेय देओ, महिमा र बलको श्रेय परमप्रभुलाई देओ ।
2 Proclaim that (he/his name) is glorious; bow down before Yahweh in his holy [temple].
परमप्रभुलाई उहाँको नाउँ सुहाउँदो महिमाको श्रेय देओ । पवित्रतामा सुहाउँदो भएर परमप्रभुलाई दण्डत गर ।
3 Yahweh’s voice is heard above the oceans; Yahweh, the glorious God, thunders. His voice thunders over the huge oceans [DOU].
परमप्रभुको सोर पानीहरूमाथि सुनिन्छ । महिमाको परमेश्वर गर्जनुहुन्छ । परमप्रभु धेरै पानीहरूमाथि गर्जनुहुन्छ ।
4 His voice is powerful and majestic.
परमप्रभुको सोर शक्तिशाली छ । परमप्रभुको सोर महिमित छ ।
5 The sound of Yahweh’s voice breaks great cedar trees, the cedars that grow in Lebanon.
परमप्रभुको सोरले देवदारुहरूलाई भाँचिदिन्छ । परमप्रभुले लेबनानका देवदारुहरूलाई टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नुहुन्छ ।
6 He causes [the mountains in] Lebanon to jump like calves jump, and causes Hermon [Mountain] to jump like a young bull jumps.
उहाँले लेबनानलाई बाछोझैं र सिरिओनलाई जवान गोरुझैं उफ्रन लगाउनुहुन्छ ।
7 Yahweh’s voice causes lightning to flash.
परमप्रभुको सोरले आगोको ज्वालाहरू पठाउँछ ।
8 His voice causes the desert to shake; he shakes Kadesh Desert [in the southern part of Judah].
परमप्रभुको सोरले उजाड-स्थानलाई हल्लाउँछ । परमप्रभुले कादेशको उजाड-स्थानलाई थर्कमान पार्नुहुन्छ ।
9 Yahweh’s voice shakes the huge oak trees and strips the leaves from the trees while the people in the temple shout, “Praise [God]!”
परमप्रभुको सोरले फलाँटका रूखहरूलाई बङ्ग्याउँछ, र वनहरूलाई उखेलेर उजाड पार्छ । उहाँको मन्दिरमा हुने हरेकले भन्छ, “महिमा!”
10 Yahweh ruled over the flood [that covered the earth]; he is our King who will rule forever.
परमप्रभु बाढीमाथि राजाको रूपमा विराजमान हुनुहुन्छ । परमप्रभु सदासर्वदा राजाको रूपमा विराजमान हुनुहुन्छ ।
11 Yahweh enables his people to be strong, and he blesses them by causing things to go well for them.
परमप्रभुले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई बल दिनुहुन्छ । परमप्रभुले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई मिलापले आशिष् दिनुहुन्छ ।
