< Psalms 29 >
1 You angels in heaven, praise Yahweh! Praise him because he is very glorious and powerful.
Abụ Ọma Devid. Toonu Onyenwe anyị, unu ndị bi nʼeluigwe, nyenụ Onyenwe anyị nsọpụrụ nʼihi ebube na ike ya.
2 Proclaim that (he/his name) is glorious; bow down before Yahweh in his holy [temple].
Nyenụ Onyenwe anyị nsọpụrụ kwesiri aha ya; kpọọ isiala nye Onyenwe anyị nʼebube nke ịdị nsọ ya.
3 Yahweh’s voice is heard above the oceans; Yahweh, the glorious God, thunders. His voice thunders over the huge oceans [DOU].
Olu Onyenwe anyị na-ada nʼelu osimiri; olu Chineke dị ebube na-ada ike ike, olu Onyenwe anyị na-ada dịka egbe eluigwe nʼelu oke osimiri.
4 His voice is powerful and majestic.
Olu Onyenwe anyị dị ike, olu Onyenwe anyị jupụtakwara nʼebube.
5 The sound of Yahweh’s voice breaks great cedar trees, the cedars that grow in Lebanon.
Olu Onyenwe anyị na-etiwa osisi ukwu sida; Onyenwe anyị na-etiwasị osisi ukwu sida nke Lebanọn.
6 He causes [the mountains in] Lebanon to jump like calves jump, and causes Hermon [Mountain] to jump like a young bull jumps.
Ọ na-eme ka Lebanọn wulie elu dịka nwa ehi, ọ na-eme ka Siriọn wulie elu dịka nwa atụ.
7 Yahweh’s voice causes lightning to flash.
Olu Onyenwe anyị na-agba dịka egbe eluigwe mgbe amụma na-egbu.
8 His voice causes the desert to shake; he shakes Kadesh Desert [in the southern part of Judah].
Olu Onyenwe anyị na-eme ka ọzara maa jijiji; Onyenwe anyị na-eme ka ọzara Kadesh maa jijiji.
9 Yahweh’s voice shakes the huge oak trees and strips the leaves from the trees while the people in the temple shout, “Praise [God]!”
Olu Onyenwe anyị na-eme ka osisi ook gbagọọ na-agbuchapụkwa akwụkwọ niile nke oke ọhịa. Nʼime ụlọnsọ ukwuu ya mmadụ niile na-eti, “Ebube!”
10 Yahweh ruled over the flood [that covered the earth]; he is our King who will rule forever.
Onyenwe anyị nọ nʼocheeze ya nʼelu uju mmiri; Onyenwe anyị na-achị dịka eze ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
11 Yahweh enables his people to be strong, and he blesses them by causing things to go well for them.
Onyenwe anyị na-enye ndị ya ike, ọ ga-ejikwa udo gọzie ndị ya.
