< Psalms 29 >
1 You angels in heaven, praise Yahweh! Praise him because he is very glorious and powerful.
Zaburi mar Daudi. Chiwneuru Jehova Nyasaye, yaye un malaike, chiwneuru Jehova Nyasaye duongʼ kod teko.
2 Proclaim that (he/his name) is glorious; bow down before Yahweh in his holy [temple].
Chiwneuru Jehova Nyasaye duongʼ mowinjore gi nyinge; lamuru Jehova Nyasaye e dier lerne maduongʼ.
3 Yahweh’s voice is heard above the oceans; Yahweh, the glorious God, thunders. His voice thunders over the huge oceans [DOU].
Dwond Jehova Nyasaye mor ewi pige; Nyasaye mar duongʼ mor ka polo, Jehova Nyasaye mor ewi pige madongo.
4 His voice is powerful and majestic.
Dwond Jehova Nyasaye nigi teko, dwond Jehova Nyasaye nigi duongʼ.
5 The sound of Yahweh’s voice breaks great cedar trees, the cedars that grow in Lebanon.
Dwond Jehova Nyasaye muko yiende mag sida, Jehova Nyasaye turo yiende sida mag Lebanon matindo tindo.
6 He causes [the mountains in] Lebanon to jump like calves jump, and causes Hermon [Mountain] to jump like a young bull jumps.
Omiyo Lebanon chikore ka nyaroya, Sirion lengʼore ka jowi ma pod tin.
7 Yahweh’s voice causes lightning to flash.
Dwond Jehova Nyasaye mor, omor ka mil polo.
8 His voice causes the desert to shake; he shakes Kadesh Desert [in the southern part of Judah].
Dwond Jehova Nyasaye yiengo piny motimo ongoro; Jehova Nyasaye yiengo ongoro mar Kadesh.
9 Yahweh’s voice shakes the huge oak trees and strips the leaves from the trees while the people in the temple shout, “Praise [God]!”
Dwond Jehova Nyasaye ma dolo yiend bungu miyo mwanda nywol kendo omiyo yiend bungu dongʼ kolwerore. Ji duto kok ei hekalu mare kagiwacho niya, “Duongʼ odog ni Jehova Nyasaye!”
10 Yahweh ruled over the flood [that covered the earth]; he is our King who will rule forever.
Jehova Nyasaye obet e kom loch mare ewi ataro; Jehova Nyasaye obet e kom loch kaka Ruoth nyaka chiengʼ.
11 Yahweh enables his people to be strong, and he blesses them by causing things to go well for them.
Jehova Nyasaye miyo joge teko; Jehova Nyasaye gwedho joge gi kwe.
