Psalms 149

1 Praise Yahweh! Sing a new song to Yahweh, praise him whenever [his] faithful [people] gather together!

याहवेह का स्तवन हो. याहवेह के लिए एक नया गीत गाओ, भक्तों की सभा में उनका स्तवन किया जाए.

2 [You] Israeli people, be glad because of [what God], who created you, [has done for you]! You people of Jerusalem, rejoice because of [what God] your king [has done for you]!

इस्राएल अपने कर्ता में आनंदित हो; ज़ियोन की सन्तति अपने राजा में उल्‍लसित हो.

3 Praise Yahweh by dancing, by beating/playing tambourines, and by playing harps to praise him!

वे उनकी महिमा में नृत्य के साथ स्तवन करें; वे खंजरी और किन्‍नोर की संगत पर संगीत गाया करें.

4 Yahweh is pleased with his people; he honors humble [people] by helping them to defeat [their enemies].

क्योंकि याहवेह का आनंद उनकी प्रजा में मगन है; वह भोले पुरुष को उद्धार से सुशोभित करते हैं.

5 God’s people should rejoice because they have won battles and they should sing joyfully all during the night!

सात्विक उनके पराक्रम में प्रफुल्लित रहें, यहां तक कि वे अपने बिछौने पर भी हर्षोल्लास में गाते रहें.

6 They [MTY] should shout loudly to praise God; but [they should also hold] sharp swords in their hands,

उनके कण्ठ में परमेश्वर के लिए सर्वोत्कृष्ट वंदना तथा उनके हाथों में दोधारी तलवार हो.

7 [ready to use them] to defeat the [soldiers of] nations [that do not worship God], and to punish the people [of those nations],

वे अन्य राष्ट्रों पर प्रतिशोध तथा उनकी प्रजा पर दंड के लिए तत्पर रहें,

8 and to fasten the arms and legs of their kings and other leaders with iron chains,

कि उनके राजा बेड़ियों में बंदी बनाए जाएं और उनके अधिकारी लोहे की जंजीरों में,

9 to judge [and punish] the people of those nations, like [God] wrote/declared [should be done]. It is (a privilege/an honor) for God’s faithful people to do that! Praise Yahweh!

कि उनके लिए निर्धारित दंड दिया जाए, यह उनके समस्त भक्तों का सम्मान होगा. याहवेह का स्तवन हो.
