Psalms 149
1 Praise Yahweh! Sing a new song to Yahweh, praise him whenever [his] faithful [people] gather together!
Dayega si Yahweh. Awiti si Yahweh ug bag-ong awit; dayega siya sa pag-awit diha sa panagtigom sa mga nagmatinud-anon.
2 [You] Israeli people, be glad because of [what God], who created you, [has done for you]! You people of Jerusalem, rejoice because of [what God] your king [has done for you]!
Tugoti nga magmaya ang Israel diha sa nagbuhat kanila; tugoti nga magmaya ang katawhan sa Zion sa ilang hari.
3 Praise Yahweh by dancing, by beating/playing tambourines, and by playing harps to praise him!
Padayega (sila) sa iyang ngalan uban sa panagsayaw; paawita (sila) sa mga pagdayeg ngadto kaniya dinuyogan sa tambor ug alpa.
4 Yahweh is pleased with his people; he honors humble [people] by helping them to defeat [their enemies].
Kay mahimuot si Yahweh sa iyang katawhan; himayaon niya ang mga mapainubsanon uban ang kaluwasan.
5 God’s people should rejoice because they have won battles and they should sing joyfully all during the night!
Tugoti nga magmaya ang mga diosnon sa kadaogan; tugoti (sila) nga mag-awit sa kalipay diha sa ilang mga higdaanan.
6 They [MTY] should shout loudly to praise God; but [they should also hold] sharp swords in their hands,
Hinaot nga ang mga pagdayeg ngadto sa Dios maanaa sa ilang mga baba ug ang espada nga duhay sulab maanaa sa ilang kamot
7 [ready to use them] to defeat the [soldiers of] nations [that do not worship God], and to punish the people [of those nations],
aron mapatuman ang pagpanimalos sa kanasoran ug mga buhat sa pagsilot sa katawhan.
8 and to fasten the arms and legs of their kings and other leaders with iron chains,
Gapuson nila ang ilang mga hari pinaagi sa mga kadena ug ang ilang mga pangulo pinaagi sa puthaw nga mga posas.
9 to judge [and punish] the people of those nations, like [God] wrote/declared [should be done]. It is (a privilege/an honor) for God’s faithful people to do that! Praise Yahweh!
Ipatuman nila ang paghukom nga nahisulat. Mapasidunggan ang tanan nga nagmatinud-anon kaniya. Dayega si Yahweh.
