Psalms 146
1 Praise Yahweh! With my whole inner being I will praise Yahweh.
Ha-lê-lu-gia! Hỡi linh hồn ta, hãy ngợi khen Đức Giê-hô-va!
2 I will praise Yahweh as long as I am alive; I will sing to praise my God for [the rest of] my life.
Trọn đời sống tôi sẽ ngợi khen Đức Giê-hô-va; Hễ tôi còn sống chừng nào tôi sẽ hát xướng cho Đức Chúa Trời tôi chừng nấy.
3 [You people], do not trust in your leaders; do not trust humans because they cannot save/rescue you [from your difficulties/problems].
Chớ nhờ cậy nơi các vua chúa, Cũng đừng nhờ cậy nơi con loài người, là nơi không có sự tiếp trợ.
4 And when they die, their corpses [decay and] become soil again. After they die, they can no longer do the things that they planned to do.
Hơi thở tắt đi, loài người bèn trở về bụi đất mình; Trong chính ngày đó các mưu mô nó liền mất đi.
5 But those whose helper is the God whom Jacob [worshiped] are happy. The one whom they confidently expect [to help them] is Yahweh, their God.
Phước cho người nào có Đức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp giúp đỡ mình, Để lòng trông cậy nơi Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời mình!
6 He is the one who created heaven and the earth and the oceans and all [the creatures] that are in them. He always does what he has promised to do.
Ngài là Đấng dựng nên trời đất, Biển, và mọi vật ở trong đó; Ngài giữ lòng thành thực đời đời,
7 He decides matters fairly for those who are (treated unfairly/oppressed), and he provides food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are in prison.
Đoán xét công bình cho kẻ bị hà hiếp, Và ban bánh cho người đói. Đức Giê-hô-va giải phóng người bị tù.
8 Yahweh enables those who are blind to see again. He lifts up those who have fallen down. He loves righteous [people].
Đức Giê-hô-va mở mắt cho người đui; Đức Giê-hô-va sửa ngay lại những kẻ cong khom; Đức Giê-hô-va yêu mến người công bình;
9 Yahweh takes care of those from other countries who live in our land, and he helps widows and orphans. But he gets rid of wicked [people].
Đức Giê-hô-va bảo hộ khách lạ, Nâng đỡ kẻ mồ côi và người góa bụa; Nhưng Ngài làm cong quẹo con đường kẻ ác,
10 Yahweh will [continue to] be our king forever; you people of Israel, your God will rule forever! Praise Yahweh!
Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ cai trị đời đời; ù Si-ôn, Đức Chúa Trời ngươi làm Vua đến muôn đời! Ha-lê-lu-gia!
