< Psalms 146 >

1 Praise Yahweh! With my whole inner being I will praise Yahweh.
Pakai vahchoijun! O kalhagao Pakai vahchoi jin!
2 I will praise Yahweh as long as I am alive; I will sing to praise my God for [the rest of] my life.
Kahin laisea Pakai kavahchoi ding, hinna hu kanei laisen ka Pathen vahchoi la sange.
3 [You people], do not trust in your leaders; do not trust humans because they cannot save/rescue you [from your difficulties/problems].
Leng chapate chunga natahsan koi hih’in, hichu panpi bei ahibouve.
4 And when they die, their corpses [decay and] become soil again. After they die, they can no longer do the things that they planned to do.
Mihem chate hu abeiteng leisetna akilekit-un leivui akisoh jin, hiche nikho lechun athilgon chengseu toh thitha ding ahitauve.
5 But those whose helper is the God whom Jacob [worshiped] are happy. The one whom they confidently expect [to help them] is Yahweh, their God.
Hinlah apanpi dinga Israel Pathen neiho, chule Pakai, Pathen a kinepna neiho anunnom ahi.
6 He is the one who created heaven and the earth and the oceans and all [the creatures] that are in them. He always does what he has promised to do.
Aman van le leiset twikhanglen leh asunga umjouse anasem in, Aman imatih chan’a akitepna achepi jing ahi.
7 He decides matters fairly for those who are (treated unfairly/oppressed), and he provides food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are in prison.
Aman suhgentheija umho thudih’in achungthu atanpeh in, chule agikel te an apen ahi. Pakaiyin songkul tangho alhadoh’in, achamsah jin ahi.
8 Yahweh enables those who are blind to see again. He lifts up those who have fallen down. He loves righteous [people].
Pakaiyin mitchoho kho amusah’in, alhu ho aphong ding in, michonpha Pakaiyin angailun ahi.
9 Yahweh takes care of those from other countries who live in our land, and he helps widows and orphans. But he gets rid of wicked [people].
Pakaiyin gamdang miho ahuhdoh in, Aman meithaiho leh chaga ho akhoton, amavang miphalou ho thilgon asuhbei peh’in ahi.
10 Yahweh will [continue to] be our king forever; you people of Israel, your God will rule forever! Praise Yahweh!
Pakaiyin tonsotna vai ahomding ahi. O Jerusalem, Amahi akhang akhanga na Pathen hiding ahi. Pakai vahchoijun!
