Psalms 141
1 Yahweh, I call out to you; [please] help me quickly! Listen to me when I am calling to you.
૧દાઉદનું ગીત. હે યહોવાહ, હું તમને વિનંતિ કરું છું; તમે મારી પાસે ઉતાવળથી આવો. જ્યારે હું તમને પોકારું ત્યારે મારું સાંભળો.
2 Accept my prayer as though it were incense [being burned as an offering] [SIM] to you. And accept me while I lift up my hands [to pray] to you like you accept sacrifices [that I offer to you each] evening [SIM].
૨મારી પ્રાર્થના તમારી સંમુખ ધૂપ જેવી થાઓ; મારા ઊંચા થયેલા હાથો સંધ્યાકાળના અર્પણ જેવા થાઓ.
3 Yahweh, do not allow me to say [MTY] things that are wrong; guard my lips.
૩હે યહોવાહ, મારા મુખની ચોકી કરો અને મારા હોઠનું દ્વાર સંભાળો.
4 Prevent me from wanting to do anything that is wrong, and from joining with wicked men when they want to do evil deeds [DOU]. Do not [even] allow me to share in eating delightful food with them!
૪અન્યાય કરનારાઓની સાથે હું દુષ્ટ કર્મ કરવામાં સામેલ ન થાઉં તેથી મારા હૃદયને કોઈ પણ દુષ્ટ વાતને વળગવા ન દો. તેઓના મિષ્ટાનમાંથી મને ખાવા ન દો.
5 It is all right if righteous people strike/hit me or rebuke me because they are trying to act kindly toward me [to teach me to do what is right], but I do not want wicked [people] to [honor me by] anointing my head with [olive] oil; I am always praying [that you will punish them because of] the wicked deeds [that they do].
૫જો કોઈ ન્યાયી માણસ મને ફટકા મારે; તો હું તે કૃપા સમજીશ. તે મને સુધારે; તો તે મારા માથા પર ચોળેલા તેલ જેવો થશે; મારું માથું તેનો નકાર નહિ કરે. પણ દુષ્ટ લોકોનાં કર્મોની વિરુદ્ધ હું પ્રાર્થના કર્યા કરીશ.
6 When their rulers are thrown down from the top of rocky cliffs, people will know that what you, Yahweh, said [about them] is true.
૬તેઓના ન્યાયધીશોને પર્વતની ટોચ ઉપરથી પાડી નાખવામાં આવ્યા છે; તેઓ સાંભળશે કે મારા પોતાના શબ્દો સુખદ છે.
7 Like a log that is split and cut into small pieces [SIM], their shattered bones will be scattered [on the ground] near [other] graves. (Sheol h7585)
૭તેઓ કહેશે, “જેમ કોઈ જમીન પર લાકડાંને કાપીને ચીરે છે તેમ, અમારાં હાડકાં કબરના પ્રવેશ આગળ વિખરાયેલાં હતાં.” (Sheol h7585)
8 But Yahweh God, I [continue to] ask you [to help me]. I ask you to protect me; do not allow me to (die/be killed) [now]!
૮હે પ્રભુ, યહોવાહ, નિશ્ચે મારી દ્રષ્ટિ તમારા તરફ છે; હું તમારા પર ભરોસો રાખું છું; મારા આત્માનો નાશ થવા ન દો.
9 [It is as though] people have set traps for me; protect me from falling into those traps, [It is as though] they have spread nets to catch me; keep me from being caught in those nets.
૯તેઓએ મારા માટે ગોઠવેલા ફાંદાથી તથા દુર્જનોએ ગોઠવેલી જાળમાંથી મને બચાવો.
10 I desire that wicked [people] will fall into the traps they have set [to catch me] while I escape [from them].
૧૦દુષ્ટો પોતાની જાળમાં ફસાઈ જાય, એટલામાં તો હું બચી જાઉં.
