Psalms 136
1 Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ستایشی یەزدان بکەن، لەبەر ئەوەی چاکە، |
2 Thank God, the one who is greater than all other gods; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ستایشی خودای خودایان بکەن، |
3 Thank the Lord who is greater than all other lords/rulers; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ستایشی گەورەی گەورەیان بکەن، |
4 He is the only one who performs great miracles; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| بۆ ئەوەی بە تەنها ئەوە کاری سەرسوڕهێنەری مەزن دەکات، |
5 He is the one who by being very wise created the heavens; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ئەوەی بە تێگەیشتنەوە ئاسمانی دروستکردووە، |
6 He is the one who caused the ground to rise up above the deep waters; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ئەوەی زەوی لەسەر ئاوەکان ڕاخستووە، |
7 He is the one who created great lights [in the sky]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ئەوەی ڕووناکییە مەزنەکانی دروستکردووە، |
8 He created the sun to shine in the daytime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| خۆر بۆ حوکمگێڕی ڕۆژ، |
9 He created the moon and stars to shine during the nighttime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| مانگ و ئەستێرەکان بۆ حوکمگێڕی شەو، |
10 He is the one who killed the firstborn [males] in Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| بۆ ئەوەی لە میسر و نۆبەرەکانی دا |
11 He led the Israeli people out of Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ئیسرائیلی لە ناوەڕاستیان دەرهێنا، |
12 With his (strong hand/great power) he led them out; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| بە دەستێکی پۆڵایین و بازووێکی بەهێز، |
13 He is the one who caused the Red Sea to divide; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| بۆ ئەوەی دەریای سووری کرد بە دوو بەشەوە، |
14 He enabled the Israeli people to walk through it [on dry land]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ئیسرائیلی بە نێوانیاندا پەڕاندەوە، |
15 But he caused the king of Egypt and his army to drown in it; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| فیرعەون و لەشکرەکەی فڕێدایە ناو دەریای سوور، |
16 He is the one who led his people [safely through the desert]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| بۆ ئەوەی لە بیابان ڕابەرایەتی گەلی خۆی کرد، |
17 He killed powerful kings; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ئەوەی پاشا مەزنەکانی لەناوبرد، |
18 He killed kings who were famous; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ئەوەی پاشا ناودارەکانی کوشت، |
19 He killed Sihon, the king of the Amor people-group; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| سیحۆنی پاشای ئەمۆرییەکان، |
20 He killed Og, the king of Bashan [region]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| عۆگی پاشای باشان، |
21 He gave their lands to us, his people; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| خاکەکەیانی کرد بە میرات، |
22 He gave those lands to us people of Israel, who serve him; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| بە میرات بۆ ئیسرائیلی بەندەی خۆی، |
23 He is the one who did not forget about us when we were defeated [by our enemies]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| بۆ ئەوەی کاتێک زەلیل بووین ئێمەی بەبیر هاتەوە، |
24 He rescued us from our enemies; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ئەوەی لەناو دوژمنمان دەریهێناین، |
25 He is the one who gives food to all living creatures; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ئەوەی نان دەداتە هەموو بەدیهێنراوێک. |
26 [So] thank God, [who lives in] heaven, [for all those things], because his faithful love [for us] endures forever!
