Psalms 136
1 Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.

2 Thank God, the one who is greater than all other gods; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.

3 Thank the Lord who is greater than all other lords/rulers; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
E mililani aku i ka Haku o na haku; No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai.
4 He is the only one who performs great miracles; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea nana wale no i hana na hana mana nui; No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
5 He is the one who by being very wise created the heavens; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea nana i hana ka lani ma ke akamai; No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai.
6 He is the one who caused the ground to rise up above the deep waters; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea nana i kukulu ka honua maluna o ka wai, No ka mea, ua mau loa no kona lokomaikai;
7 He is the one who created great lights [in the sky]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea nana i hana na malamalama nui; No ka mea, ua mau loa no kona lokomaikai;
8 He created the sun to shine in the daytime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka la e alii ai maluna o ke ao, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
9 He created the moon and stars to shine during the nighttime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mahina hoi, a me na hoku e alii ai maluna o ka po, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai;
10 He is the one who killed the firstborn [males] in Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea nana i luku ko Aigupita, ma ko lakou makahiapo, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
11 He led the Israeli people out of Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
A hoopuka mai la i ka Iseraela, maiwaena mai o lakou, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
12 With his (strong hand/great power) he led them out; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
Me ka lima ikaika, a me ka lima kakauha no noi, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
13 He is the one who caused the Red Sea to divide; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea i mahele i ke Kaiula i mau puu, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai;
14 He enabled the Israeli people to walk through it [on dry land]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
A hoohele ae i ka Iseraela mawaena konu ona, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai;
15 But he caused the king of Egypt and his army to drown in it; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
A luku aku la ia Parao, a me kona kaua iloko o ke Kaiula, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
16 He is the one who led his people [safely through the desert]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea alakai i kona poe kanaka ma ka waonahele, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai.
17 He killed powerful kings; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea pepehi i na'lii nui loa, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai;
18 He killed kings who were famous; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
A luku hoi i na'lii ikaika, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
19 He killed Sihon, the king of the Amor people-group; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
Ia Sihona, ke alii o ka Amora, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai;
20 He killed Og, the king of Bashan [region]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
Ia Oga hoi, ke alii o Basana, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
21 He gave their lands to us, his people; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
A haawi mai la oia i ko lakou aina, i hooilina, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
22 He gave those lands to us people of Israel, who serve him; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I hooilina na ka Iseraela, na kana poe kauwa, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai;
23 He is the one who did not forget about us when we were defeated [by our enemies]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea hoomanao ia kakou, ia kakou i hoohaahaaia'i, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
24 He rescued us from our enemies; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea i hoopakele ia kakou mai ko kakou poe enemi mai, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai:
25 He is the one who gives food to all living creatures; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
I ka mea haawi mai i ka ai na na mea ola a pau, No ka mea, ua mau loa kona lokomaikai;
26 [So] thank God, [who lives in] heaven, [for all those things], because his faithful love [for us] endures forever!
