Psalms 136
1 Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| اِحْمَدُوا ٱلرَّبَّ لِأَنَّهُ صَالِحٌ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١ |
2 Thank God, the one who is greater than all other gods; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱحْمَدُوا إِلَهَ ٱلْآلِهَةِ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمتَهُ. | ٢ |
3 Thank the Lord who is greater than all other lords/rulers; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱحْمَدُوا رَبَّ ٱلْأَرْبَابِ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٣ |
4 He is the only one who performs great miracles; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلصَّانِعَ ٱلْعَجَائِبَ ٱلْعِظَامَ وَحْدَهُ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٤ |
5 He is the one who by being very wise created the heavens; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلصَّانِعَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ بِفَهْمٍ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٥ |
6 He is the one who caused the ground to rise up above the deep waters; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلْبَاسِطَ ٱلْأَرْضَ عَلَى ٱلْمِيَاهِ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٦ |
7 He is the one who created great lights [in the sky]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلصَّانِعَ أَنْوَارًا عَظِيمَةً، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٧ |
8 He created the sun to shine in the daytime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلشَّمْسَ لِحُكْمِ ٱلنَّهَارِ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٨ |
9 He created the moon and stars to shine during the nighttime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلْقَمَرَ وَٱلْكَوَاكِبَ لِحُكْمِ ٱللَّيْلِ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٩ |
10 He is the one who killed the firstborn [males] in Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلَّذِي ضَرَبَ مِصْرَ مَعَ أَبْكَارِهَا، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١٠ |
11 He led the Israeli people out of Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| وَأَخْرَجَ إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ وَسَطِهِمْ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١١ |
12 With his (strong hand/great power) he led them out; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| بِيَدٍ شَدِيدَةٍ وَذِرَاعٍ مَمْدُودَةٍ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١٢ |
13 He is the one who caused the Red Sea to divide; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلَّذِي شَقَّ بَحْرَ سُوفٍ إِلَى شُقَقٍ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١٣ |
14 He enabled the Israeli people to walk through it [on dry land]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| وَعَبَّرَ إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي وَسَطِهِ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١٤ |
15 But he caused the king of Egypt and his army to drown in it; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| وَدَفَعَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقُوَّتَهُ فِي بَحْرِ سُوفٍ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١٥ |
16 He is the one who led his people [safely through the desert]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلَّذِي سَارَ بِشَعْبِهِ فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١٦ |
17 He killed powerful kings; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلَّذِي ضَرَبَ مُلُوكًا عُظَمَاءَ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١٧ |
18 He killed kings who were famous; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| وَقَتَلَ مُلُوكًا أَعِزَّاءَ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١٨ |
19 He killed Sihon, the king of the Amor people-group; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| سِيحُونَ مَلِكَ ٱلْأَمُورِيِّينَ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١٩ |
20 He killed Og, the king of Bashan [region]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| وَعُوجَ مَلِكَ بَاشَانَ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٢٠ |
21 He gave their lands to us, his people; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| وَأَعْطَى أَرْضَهُمْ مِيرَاثًا، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٢١ |
22 He gave those lands to us people of Israel, who serve him; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| مِيرَاثًا لِإِسْرَائِيلَ عَبْدِهِ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٢٢ |
23 He is the one who did not forget about us when we were defeated [by our enemies]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلَّذِي فِي مَذَلَّتِنَا ذَكَرَنَا، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٢٣ |
24 He rescued us from our enemies; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| وَنَجَّانَا مِنْ أَعْدَائِنَا، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٢٤ |
25 He is the one who gives food to all living creatures; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ٱلَّذِي يُعْطِي خُبْزًا لِكُلِّ بَشَرٍ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٢٥ |
26 [So] thank God, [who lives in] heaven, [for all those things], because his faithful love [for us] endures forever!
| ٱحْمَدُوا إِلَهَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ٢٦ |
