Psalms 132
1 Yahweh, do not forget [King] David and all the hardships/troubles he endured!
১আরোহন-গীত। সদাপ্রভুু, তুমি দায়ূদের সব দুঃখ কষ্ট মনে কর।
2 He made a solemn promise to you, the mighty God whom [our ancestor] Jacob [worshiped].
২মনে কর তিনি সদাপ্রভুুর কাছে কেমন শপথ করেছিলেন, যাকোবের একবীরের কাছে মানত করেছিলেন।
3 He said, “I will not go home, I will not [rest] on my bed,
৩সে বলল, “আমি আমার বাড়িতে ঢুকবো না অথবা আমার বিছানায় শোব না,
4 I will not sleep at all
৪আমি আমার নিজের চোখকে ঘুমাতে দেব না, চোখের পাতাকে বিশ্রাম করতে দেব না,
5 until I build a place for Yahweh, a home for the mighty God whom Jacob [worshiped].”
৫যতক্ষণ না সদাপ্রভুুর জন্য একটা জায়গা পাই, যাকোবের বীর ঈশ্বরের জন্য এক পবিত্র তাঁবু পাই।”
6 In Bethlehem we heard news about the sacred chest. We [went and] found it in the fields of Jearim [city, and we took it to Jerusalem].
৬দেখ, আমরা ইফ্রাথায় এটার কথা শুনে ছিলাম, আমরা এটা পেয়েছি জারের ক্ষেতে।
7 [Later we said], “Let’s go to the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem]; let’s worship [there] in front of the throne [where he sits].”
৭আমরা যাবো ঈশ্বরের পবিত্র তাঁবুতে; আমরা তাঁর পাদপীঠে আরাধনা করব।
8 Yahweh, come to the place where you live eternally, to the place where your sacred chest is, to that place that shows that you are very powerful.
৮ওঠো, সদাপ্রভুু; ওঠ তোমার বিশ্রামের জায়গায় এস,
9 I want/desire that the righteous behavior of your priests [will always be evident], [just like the beautiful] robes that they wear [MET], and that your people will [always] shout joyfully.
৯তোমার যাজকেরা ধার্মিকতার পোশাক পরুক, তোমার বিশ্বস্তরা আনন্দে চিত্কার করুক।
10 You chose David to serve you [as king of Israel]; do not reject/abandon him!
১০তুমি তোমার দাস দায়ূদের জন্য, তোমার অভিষিক্ত রাজার থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিও না।
11 Yahweh, you made a solemn promise to David, a promise that you will not break. You said, “I will cause your descendants to rule [MTY] as kings like you.
১১সদাপ্রভুু দায়ূদের কাছে বিশ্বস্ত হওয়ার শপথ করেছেন, তিনি তাঁর প্রতিজ্ঞা থেকে ফিরবেন না: “আমি তোমার উত্তর পুরুষকে তোমার সিংহাসনে বসাব।
12 If they keep my agreement with them and obey [all] the commands that I will give them, the line of kings descended from you will never end.”
১২যদি তোমার সন্তানরা আমার চুক্তি পালন করে এবং আমার বিধি যা আমি তাদেরকে শেখাব, তবে তাদের সন্তানরাও চিরতরে তোমার সিংহাসনে বসে থাকবে।”
13 Yahweh has chosen Jerusalem; he has wanted to make that city his home;
১৩অবশ্যই সদাপ্রভুু সিয়োনকে মনোনীত করেছেন; তিনি এটা বর্ণনা করেছেন তার বাসভবনের জন্য।
14 he said, “This is the city where I will live forever [DOU]; this is the place where I wanted to stay.
১৪এটা আমার চিরকালের বিশ্রামের জায়গা; আমি এখানে থাকবো, কারণ আমি এটা ইচ্ছা করি।
15 I will give to the people of Jerusalem all that they need; I will give [enough] food [even] to satisfy the poor people there.
১৫আমি প্রচুর আশীর্বাদ করব তার খাদ্য সংগ্রহে; আমি তার দরিদ্রদেরকে খাদ্য দিয়ে তৃপ্ত করব।
16 I will cause the priests [to behave in a manner worthy of] being ones whom I have saved; [that will be as evident as the beautiful] robes that they wear [MET]; and all my people who live there will shout joyfully.
১৬আমি তাঁর যাজকদের পরিত্রানের বস্ত্র পরাব; তার বিশ্বস্তরা উচ্চস্বরে আনন্দ করবে।
17 There [in Jerusalem] I will cause one of David’s descendants [MET] to become a great king; he also will be my chosen king, and he will be [like a bright] lamp [MET] [that shines continually].
১৭আমি সেখানে দায়ূদের জন্য একশৃঙ্গ তৈরী করব গজবার হওয়ার জন্য; আমি সেখানে একটা প্রদীপ রেখেছি আমার অভিষিক্তের জন্য।
18 I will [defeat his] enemies and cause them to be very ashamed/disgraced; but the crown that my king wears will [always] shine.”
১৮আমি তার শত্রুদেরকে লজ্জায় পরিহিত করব; কিন্তু তার মাথায় তার মুকুট শোভা পাবে।
