Psalms 131

1 Yahweh, I am not proud and I have not thought highly about (myself/the things that I have done). And I do not concern myself about things [that you have done] that are very big or very wonderful.

Cántico gradual. De David. Yahvé, mi corazón (ya) no se engríe ni son altaneros mis ojos. No ando tras de grandezas ni en planes muy difíciles para mí;

2 Instead, I am calm and peaceful, like a [small] child who lies quietly in its mother’s arms [SIM]. In the same way, I am peaceful.

lejos de eso, he hecho a mi alma quieta y apaciguada como un niño que se recuesta sobre el pecho de su madre; como ese niño, está mi alma en mí.

3 You [my fellow] Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh [will do good things for you], now and forever!

Oh Israel, espera en Yahvé, desde ahora y para siempre.
