Psalms 131

1 Yahweh, I am not proud and I have not thought highly about (myself/the things that I have done). And I do not concern myself about things [that you have done] that are very big or very wonderful.

१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र हे परमेश्वरा, माझे हृदय गर्विष्ठ नाही किंवा माझे डोळे उन्मत्त नाही. मी आपल्यासाठी मोठमोठ्या आशा ठेवत नाही, किंवा ज्या माझ्या समजण्या पलीकडे आहेत अशा गोष्टीत मी पडत नाही.

2 Instead, I am calm and peaceful, like a [small] child who lies quietly in its mother’s arms [SIM]. In the same way, I am peaceful.

२खरोखर मी आपला जीव निवांत व शांत ठेवला आहे; जसे दूध तुटलेले बालक आपल्या आईबरोबर असते; तसा माझा जीव, दूध तुटलेल्या बालकासारखा माझ्या ठायी आहे.

3 You [my fellow] Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh [will do good things for you], now and forever!

३हे इस्राएला, आतापासून आणि सर्वकाळ तू परमेश्वरावर आशा ठेव.
