Psalms 131

1 Yahweh, I am not proud and I have not thought highly about (myself/the things that I have done). And I do not concern myself about things [that you have done] that are very big or very wonderful.

૧ચઢવાનું ગીત; દાઉદનું. હે યહોવાહ, મારું હૃદય ઘમંડી નથી અને મારી આંખો અભિમાની નથી. મારી પાસે મારા માટે કોઈ મહાન આશાઓ નથી અથવા જે વાતોને હું પહોંચી શકતો નથી તેમાં, હું હાથ નાખતો નથી.

2 Instead, I am calm and peaceful, like a [small] child who lies quietly in its mother’s arms [SIM]. In the same way, I am peaceful.

૨તેમ છતાં, મેં મારો આત્મા નમ્ર અને શાંત કર્યો છે; જેમ એક બાળક પોતાની માતાનું દૂધ છોડે છે, તેમ મારો આત્મા દૂધ છોડી દેનાર બાળકના જેવો જ છે.

3 You [my fellow] Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh [will do good things for you], now and forever!

૩હે ઇઝરાયલ, આ સમયથી તે સદાકાળ માટે યહોવાહની જ આશા રાખજે.
