Psalms 125

1 Those/We who trust in Yahweh are [as secure/steadfast] [SIM] as Zion Hill, which cannot be shaken and can never be moved.

१जे परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेवतात; ते सियोन पर्वतासारखे अढळ, सर्वकाळ टिकणारे आहेत.

2 Like the hills that surround Jerusalem [protect the city], Yahweh protects [us], his people, and he will protect us forever.

२यरूशलेमेच्या सभोवती पर्वत आहेत तसा परमेश्वर त्याच्या लोकांसभोवती आता आणि सर्वकाळ आहे.

3 Wicked people [MTY] should not [be allowed to] rule over the land where righteous [people] live. If they did that, those righteous [people] might [(be encouraged to imitate them and]) do things that are wrong.

३नितीमानाचे हात दुष्टांना लागू नयेत म्हणून दुर्जनांचा राजदंड नितीमानांच्या वतनावर चालणार नाही. नाहीतर नितीमान जे काही चुकीचे आहे ते करतील.

4 Yahweh, do good things to those who do good things to others and to those who sincerely obey your commands [IDM].

४हे परमेश्वरा, जे चांगले आहेत, आणि जे आपल्या हृदयाने सरळ आहेत त्यांचे तू चांगले कर.

5 But when you punish the wicked people [who are not Israelis], also punish those [Israelis] who turn away from walking on the good roads [MET] that you have shown them! I wish that things will go well for [people in] Israel!

५पण जे आपल्या वाकड्या मार्गाकडे वळतात, परमेश्वर त्यांना वाईट करणाऱ्याबरोबर घालवून देईल. इस्राएलांवर शांती असो.
