Psalms 125

1 Those/We who trust in Yahweh are [as secure/steadfast] [SIM] as Zion Hill, which cannot be shaken and can never be moved.

೧ಯಾತ್ರಾಗೀತೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡುವವರು, ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅದು ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಸದಾ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

2 Like the hills that surround Jerusalem [protect the city], Yahweh protects [us], his people, and he will protect us forever.

೨ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈಗಿನಿಂದ ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ತನ್ನ ಜನರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇರುವನು.

3 Wicked people [MTY] should not [be allowed to] rule over the land where righteous [people] live. If they did that, those righteous [people] might [(be encouraged to imitate them and]) do things that are wrong.

೩ದುಷ್ಟರ ದಂಡಾಧಿಕಾರವು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಸ್ವತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಉಳಿದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರೂ ಅಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಬಹುದು.

4 Yahweh, do good things to those who do good things to others and to those who sincerely obey your commands [IDM].

೪ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರೂ, ಯಥಾರ್ಥಚಿತ್ತರೂ, ಆಗಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಮಾಡು.

5 But when you punish the wicked people [who are not Israelis], also punish those [Israelis] who turn away from walking on the good roads [MET] that you have shown them! I wish that things will go well for [people in] Israel!

೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಡೊಂಕುದಾರಿ ಹಿಡಿದವರನ್ನು, ಪಾತಕಿಗಳು ಹೋಗುವ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಸುವನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಶುಭವುಂಟಾಗಲಿ.
