Psalms 123

1 Yahweh, I look up toward you, up to heaven, from where you rule.

१स्वर्गात सिंहासनारूढ असणाऱ्या, तुझ्याकडे मी आपली दृष्टी वर लावतो.

2 Like servants ask [IDM] their masters [for what they need] and like maids ask t their mistresses [for what they need], we ask you, Yahweh our God, [for what we need], and we ask you to be merciful to us.

२पाहा, जसे दासाचे डोळे आपल्या मालकाच्या हाताकडे असतात, जसे दासीचे डोळे आपल्या मालकिणीच्या हाताकडे असतात, तसे आमचे डोळे आमचा देव परमेश्वर आमच्यावर कृपा करीपर्यंत त्याच्याकडे लागलेले असतात.

3 Yahweh, be very merciful [DOU] to us because [our enemies] have acted very contemptuously toward us.

३हे परमेश्वरा, आमच्यावर दया कर, आमच्यावर दया कर, कारण आम्ही अपमानाने भरलो आहोत.

4 Rich people have made fun of us for a long time, and proud [people] who have (oppressed/acted cruelly toward) us have acted toward us as though we were worthless.

४सुखवस्तू लोकांनी केलेली थट्टा, आणि गर्विष्ठांनी केलेली नालस्ती ह्यांनी आमच्या जिवाला पुरेपुरे करून टाकले आहे.
