Psalms 123

1 Yahweh, I look up toward you, up to heaven, from where you rule.

ആരോഹണഗീതം. സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവനായുള്ളോവേ, നിങ്കലേക്കു ഞാൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണു ഉയർത്തുന്നു.

2 Like servants ask [IDM] their masters [for what they need] and like maids ask t their mistresses [for what they need], we ask you, Yahweh our God, [for what we need], and we ask you to be merciful to us.

ദാസന്മാരുടെ കണ്ണു യജമാനന്റെ കയ്യിലേക്കും ദാസിയുടെ കണ്ണു യജമാനത്തിയുടെ കയ്യിലേക്കും എന്നപോലെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണു ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു, അവൻ ഞങ്ങളോടു കൃപചെയ്യുവോളം നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

3 Yahweh, be very merciful [DOU] to us because [our enemies] have acted very contemptuously toward us.

യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളോടു കൃപ ചെയ്യേണമേ, ഞങ്ങളോടു കൃപ ചെയ്യേണമേ; ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്ദ സഹിച്ചു മടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

4 Rich people have made fun of us for a long time, and proud [people] who have (oppressed/acted cruelly toward) us have acted toward us as though we were worthless.

സുഖിയന്മാരുടെ പരിഹാസവും അഹങ്കാരികളുടെ നിന്ദയും സഹിച്ചു ഞങ്ങളുടെ മനം ഏറ്റവും മടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
