< Psalms 121 >
1 [When we travel toward Jerusalem], I look up toward the hills [and I ask myself], “Who will help me?”
Ikitak dagiti matak kadagiti ban-bantay. Sadino ti paggapuan ti tulongko?
2 [And my answer is] that Yahweh is the one who helps me; he is the one who made heaven and the earth.
Ti tulongko ket aggapu kenni Yahweh, a nangaramid iti langit ken daga.
3 He will not allow us to fall/stumble; God, who protects us, will not fall asleep.
Saanna nga itulok a maipaglis ta sakam; saan nga agtugtuglep ti mangsalsalaknib kenka.
4 The one who protects us Israeli people never gets sleepy, nor does he sleep [LIT].
Kitaem, saan a pulos nga agtugtuglep wenno matmaturog ti mangay-aywan iti Israel.
5 Yahweh watches over us; he is like the shade [MET] [that protects us from the sun].
Ni Yahweh ti mangay-aywan kenka; ni Yahweh ti salinong iti makannawanmo.
6 [He will not allow] the sun to harm us during the day, and [he will not allow] the moon to harm us during the night.
Saannakanto a dangran ti init iti aldaw wenno ti bulan iti rabii.
7 Yahweh will protect us from being harmed in any manner; he will keep us safe.
Salaknibannakanto ni Yahweh iti amin a pakadangram, ken salaknibanna ti biagmo.
8 He will protect us from the time that we leave [our houses in the morning] until we return [in the evening]; he will protect us now, and he will protect us forever.
Salaknibannakanto ni Yahweh iti amin nga aramidem ita ken iti awan patinggana.
