< Psalms 121 >
1 [When we travel toward Jerusalem], I look up toward the hills [and I ask myself], “Who will help me?”
Waƙar haurawa. Na tā da idanuna zuwa wajen tuddai, ta ina ne taimakona zai zo?
2 [And my answer is] that Yahweh is the one who helps me; he is the one who made heaven and the earth.
Taimakona zai zo daga wurin Ubangiji, wanda ya kafa sama da ƙasa.
3 He will not allow us to fall/stumble; God, who protects us, will not fall asleep.
Ba zai bari ƙafarka tă yi santsi ba, shi da yake tsaronka ba zai yi gyangyaɗi ba;
4 The one who protects us Israeli people never gets sleepy, nor does he sleep [LIT].
tabbatacce, shi da yake tsaron Isra’ila ba ya gyangyaɗi ko barci.
5 Yahweh watches over us; he is like the shade [MET] [that protects us from the sun].
Ubangiji yana tsaronka, Ubangiji ne inuwa a hannun damanka;
6 [He will not allow] the sun to harm us during the day, and [he will not allow] the moon to harm us during the night.
rana ba za tă buge ka cikin yini ba balle wata da dare.
7 Yahweh will protect us from being harmed in any manner; he will keep us safe.
Ubangiji zai kiyaye ka daga dukan masifa, zai tsare ranka;
8 He will protect us from the time that we leave [our houses in the morning] until we return [in the evening]; he will protect us now, and he will protect us forever.
Ubangiji zai kiyaye shigarka da fitarka yanzu da har abada kuma.
