Psalms 120

1 When I had troubles, I called out to Yahweh and he answered me.

Ziyarət nəğməsi. Dar gündə Rəbbi səslədim, O mənə cavab verdi.

2 [I prayed], “Yahweh, rescue/save me from people [SYN, MTY] who lie to me and [try to] deceive me!”

Dedim: «Ya Rəbb, yalançı dodaqlardan, Fitnəkar dillərdən canımı qurtar».

3 You people who lie to me, [I will tell you] [RHQ] what [God] will do to you and what he will do to punish you.

Ey fitnəkar dil, sənə nə veriləcək? Bu işinin əvəzi nə ilə ödəniləcək?

4 He will shoot sharp arrows at you like soldiers do, and he will [burn you with] red-hot coals from [the wood of] a broom tree.

Cəngavərin iti oxları ilə, Süpürgə ağacının odlu közləri ilə!

5 It is terrible for me, living among cruel/savage [DOU] people [like those who live] in Meshech [region] and Kedar [region].

Yazıq canım, Meşekdə qərib olmuşam, Qedar çadırlarında yaşayıram!

6 I have lived for a long time among people who hate [to live with others] peacefully.

Mənim belə yerdə, Sülhə nifrət edənlərin içində yaşamağım bəsdir.

7 Every time I talk about living together peacefully, they talk about starting a war.

Mən sülh sevirəm, buna görə danışıram, Onlarsa müharibə üçün çalışır.
