Psalms 116
1 I love Yahweh, because he hears me when I cry for him to help me.
म परमप्रभुलाई प्रेम गर्छु किनभने उहाँले दायको निम्ति मेरो सोर र बिन्ती सुन्नुहुन्छ ।
2 He listens to me, so I will call out to him all during my life.
उहाँले मेरो पुकारा सुन्नुभएको हुनाले, म जीवित भएसम्म म उहाँमा नै पुकारा गर्नेछु ।
3 Everything around me [MET] caused me to think that I would die; I was very afraid that I would [die and go to] the place where dead people are. I was very distressed/worried and afraid. (Sheol h7585)
मृत्युका डोरीहरूले मलाई बेह्रे र चिहानको पसोहरूले मेरो सामान गरे । मैले वेदना र दुःखको महसुस गरें । (Sheol h7585)
4 [But] then I called out to Yahweh, saying, “Yahweh, I plead with you to save/rescue me!”
तब मैले परमप्रभुको नाउँको पुकारा गरें: “हे परमप्रभु, कृपया, मेरो जीवन बचाउनुहोस् ।”
5 Yahweh is kind and does what is right; he is our God, and he acts mercifully [to us].
परमप्रभु कृपालु र निष्पक्ष हुनुहुन्छ । हाम्रो परमेश्वर करुणामय हुनुहुन्छ ।
6 He protects those who (are helpless/cannot defend themselves); and when I thought that I would die, he saved me.
परमप्रभुले सोझोलाई रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ । म तल झारिएको थिएँ र उहाँले मलाई बचाउनुभयो ।
7 I must encourage/tell myself to (have inner peace/not worry any more), because Yahweh has done very good things for me.
मेरो प्राण आफ्नो विश्रामको ठाउँमा फर्कन सक्छ, किनकि परमप्रभु मेरो निम्ति असल हुनुभएको छ ।
8 Yahweh has saved me [SYN] from dying, and has kept/protected me from [troubles that would cause me to] cry. He has kept/protected me from stumbling.
किनकि मेरो जीवनलाई मृत्युबाट, मेरा आँखाहरूबाट आँशु झर्नबाट र मेरा खुट्टाहरूलाई ठेस खानबाट तपाईंले बचाउनुभयो ।
9 [So here] on the earth, where people are still alive, I live knowing that Yahweh is [directing] me.
म जीवितहरूको देशमा परमप्रभुको सेवा गर्नेछु ।
10 I continued to believe/trust [in Yahweh], even when I said, “I am greatly afflicted/troubled.”
“म ठुलो दुःखमा परेको छु,” भनी मैले भनेको बेलामा पनि मैले उहाँमा विश्वास गरें ।
11 [Even] when I was distressed/worried and said, “I cannot trust anyone,” [I continued to trust in Yahweh].
आफ्नो अन्योलमा मैले भनें, “सबै मानि झुटा हुन् ।”
12 So now [I will tell you] [RHQ] what I will offer to Yahweh, because of all the good things that he has done for me.
परमप्रभुले मेरो निम्ति गर्नुभएको सबै भलाइको साटो म कसरी चुक्ता गर्न सक्छ र?
13 I will offer to him a cup [of wine] to thank him for saving/rescuing me.
मुक्तिको कचौरा म उठाउनेछु र परमप्रभुको नाउँको पुकारा गर्नेछु ।
14 When I am together with many [HYP] people who belong to Yahweh, I will give to him the offerings that I solemnly promised to give to him.
परमप्रभुका सबै मनिसको सामु आफ्ना भाकलहरू उहाँमा म पुरा गर्नेछु ।
15 Yahweh is very grieved/sad when one of his people dies.
परमप्रभुको दृष्टिमा उहाँका सन्तहरूका मृत्यु बहुमूल्य हुन्छ ।
16 I am one of those who serve Yahweh; I serve him like my mother did. He has freed/saved me from dying (OR, from being fastened by chains).
हे परमप्रभु, वस्तवमा, म तपाईंको सेवक हुँ । म तपाईकी कमारीकी छोरा तपाईंको सेवक हुँ । तपाईंले मेरा बन्धनहरू तोड्नुभएको छ ।
17 [So] I will offer to him a sacrifice to thank him, and I will pray to him.
म तपाईंलाई धन्यवादको बलि चढाउनेछु र परमप्रभुको नाउँको पुकारा गर्नेछु ।
18 When I am together with many of [HYP] the people who belong to Yahweh, [in the courtyard] outside his temple in Jerusalem, I will give to him the offerings that I solemnly promised to give to him. Praise Yahweh!
परमप्रभुका सबै मनिसका सामु म आफ्ना सबै भाकलहरू उहाँमा,
परमप्रभुको मन्दिरका चोकहरूमा, यरूशलेमको बिचमा म पुरा गर्नेछु । परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर ।
