Psalms 116
1 I love Yahweh, because he hears me when I cry for him to help me.
അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ കേട്ടിരിക്കയാൽ, ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; കരുണയ്ക്കായുള്ള എന്റെ യാചനയും അവിടന്ന് കേട്ടല്ലോ.
2 He listens to me, so I will call out to him all during my life.
അവിടത്തെ ചെവി എന്നിലേക്കു ചായ്ച്ചതുകൊണ്ട്, എന്റെ ജീവിതകാലമൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.
3 Everything around me [MET] caused me to think that I would die; I was very afraid that I would [die and go to] the place where dead people are. I was very distressed/worried and afraid. (Sheol h7585)
മരണപാശങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ചുറ്റി, പാതാളവേദനകൾ എന്നെ പിടികൂടി; കഷ്ടവും സങ്കടവും എനിക്കു നേരിട്ടു. (Sheol h7585)
4 [But] then I called out to Yahweh, saying, “Yahweh, I plead with you to save/rescue me!”
അപ്പോൾ “യഹോവേ, എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ!” എന്നു ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
5 Yahweh is kind and does what is right; he is our God, and he acts mercifully [to us].
യഹോവ കൃപയും നീതിയുമുള്ളവൻ ആകുന്നു; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ദയാപൂർണൻതന്നെ.
6 He protects those who (are helpless/cannot defend themselves); and when I thought that I would die, he saved me.
യഹോവ ലളിതമാനസരെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഞെരുക്കത്തിൽ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.
7 I must encourage/tell myself to (have inner peace/not worry any more), because Yahweh has done very good things for me.
എൻ മനമേ, നിന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരിക; യഹോവ നിനക്ക് നല്ലവനായിരിക്കുന്നല്ലോ.
8 Yahweh has saved me [SYN] from dying, and has kept/protected me from [troubles that would cause me to] cry. He has kept/protected me from stumbling.
യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ ജീവനെ മരണത്തിൽനിന്നും എന്റെ കണ്ണുകളെ കണ്ണുനീരിൽനിന്നും എന്റെ കാലുകളെ വീഴ്ചയിൽനിന്നും വിടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 [So here] on the earth, where people are still alive, I live knowing that Yahweh is [directing] me.
ഞാൻ ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്ത് യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെ നടക്കേണ്ടതിനുതന്നെ.
10 I continued to believe/trust [in Yahweh], even when I said, “I am greatly afflicted/troubled.”
ഞാൻ അങ്ങയിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു, “ഞാൻ ഏറ്റവും പീഡിതൻ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു;”
11 [Even] when I was distressed/worried and said, “I cannot trust anyone,” [I continued to trust in Yahweh].
എന്റെ പരിഭ്രാന്തിയിൽ ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു, “എല്ലാ മനുഷ്യരും വ്യാജംപറയുന്നു.”
12 So now [I will tell you] [RHQ] what I will offer to Yahweh, because of all the good things that he has done for me.
യഹോവ എനിക്കു ചെയ്ത സകലനന്മകൾക്കും ഞാൻ അങ്ങേക്ക് എന്തു പകരംനൽകും?
13 I will offer to him a cup [of wine] to thank him for saving/rescuing me.
ഞാൻ രക്ഷയുടെ പാനപാത്രം എടുത്ത് യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.
14 When I am together with many [HYP] people who belong to Yahweh, I will give to him the offerings that I solemnly promised to give to him.
അവിടത്തെ ജനങ്ങളുടെയെല്ലാം സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ നേർച്ചകൾ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് അർപ്പിക്കും.
15 Yahweh is very grieved/sad when one of his people dies.
തന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തസേവകരുടെ മരണം യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ വിലയേറിയതാകുന്നു.
16 I am one of those who serve Yahweh; I serve him like my mother did. He has freed/saved me from dying (OR, from being fastened by chains).
യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ സേവകൻ ആകുന്നു. ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ സേവകൻതന്നെ; അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസിയുടെ പുത്രൻതന്നെ; അങ്ങ് എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങൾ അഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
17 [So] I will offer to him a sacrifice to thank him, and I will pray to him.
ഞാൻ അങ്ങേക്ക് സ്തോത്രയാഗം അർപ്പിച്ച് യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.
18 When I am together with many of [HYP] the people who belong to Yahweh, [in the courtyard] outside his temple in Jerusalem, I will give to him the offerings that I solemnly promised to give to him. Praise Yahweh!
അവിടത്തെ ജനങ്ങളുടെയെല്ലാം സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ നേർച്ചകൾ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് അർപ്പിക്കും,
യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ അങ്കണത്തിലും— ജെറുശലേമേ, നിന്റെ മധ്യത്തിലുംതന്നെ. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.
