Psalms 116
1 I love Yahweh, because he hears me when I cry for him to help me.
१मैं प्रेम रखता हूँ, इसलिए कि यहोवा ने मेरे गिड़गिड़ाने को सुना है।
2 He listens to me, so I will call out to him all during my life.
२उसने जो मेरी ओर कान लगाया है, इसलिए मैं जीवन भर उसको पुकारा करूँगा।
3 Everything around me [MET] caused me to think that I would die; I was very afraid that I would [die and go to] the place where dead people are. I was very distressed/worried and afraid. (Sheol h7585)
३मृत्यु की रस्सियाँ मेरे चारों ओर थीं; मैं अधोलोक की सकेती में पड़ा था; मुझे संकट और शोक भोगना पड़ा। (Sheol h7585)
4 [But] then I called out to Yahweh, saying, “Yahweh, I plead with you to save/rescue me!”
४तब मैंने यहोवा से प्रार्थना की, “हे यहोवा, विनती सुनकर मेरे प्राण को बचा ले!”
5 Yahweh is kind and does what is right; he is our God, and he acts mercifully [to us].
५यहोवा करुणामय और धर्मी है; और हमारा परमेश्वर दया करनेवाला है।
6 He protects those who (are helpless/cannot defend themselves); and when I thought that I would die, he saved me.
६यहोवा भोलों की रक्षा करता है; जब मैं बलहीन हो गया था, उसने मेरा उद्धार किया।
7 I must encourage/tell myself to (have inner peace/not worry any more), because Yahweh has done very good things for me.
७हे मेरे प्राण, तू अपने विश्रामस्थान में लौट आ; क्योंकि यहोवा ने तेरा उपकार किया है।
8 Yahweh has saved me [SYN] from dying, and has kept/protected me from [troubles that would cause me to] cry. He has kept/protected me from stumbling.
८तूने तो मेरे प्राण को मृत्यु से, मेरी आँख को आँसू बहाने से, और मेरे पाँव को ठोकर खाने से बचाया है।
9 [So here] on the earth, where people are still alive, I live knowing that Yahweh is [directing] me.
९मैं जीवित रहते हुए, अपने को यहोवा के सामने जानकर नित चलता रहूँगा।
10 I continued to believe/trust [in Yahweh], even when I said, “I am greatly afflicted/troubled.”
१०मैंने जो ऐसा कहा है, इसे विश्वास की कसौटी पर कसकर कहा है, “मैं तो बहुत ही दुःखित हूँ;”
11 [Even] when I was distressed/worried and said, “I cannot trust anyone,” [I continued to trust in Yahweh].
११मैंने उतावली से कहा, “सब मनुष्य झूठें हैं।”
12 So now [I will tell you] [RHQ] what I will offer to Yahweh, because of all the good things that he has done for me.
१२यहोवा ने मेरे जितने उपकार किए हैं, उनके बदले मैं उसको क्या दूँ?
13 I will offer to him a cup [of wine] to thank him for saving/rescuing me.
१३मैं उद्धार का कटोरा उठाकर, यहोवा से प्रार्थना करूँगा,
14 When I am together with many [HYP] people who belong to Yahweh, I will give to him the offerings that I solemnly promised to give to him.
१४मैं यहोवा के लिये अपनी मन्नतें, सभी की दृष्टि में प्रगट रूप में, उसकी सारी प्रजा के सामने पूरी करूँगा।
15 Yahweh is very grieved/sad when one of his people dies.
१५यहोवा के भक्तों की मृत्यु, उसकी दृष्टि में अनमोल है।
16 I am one of those who serve Yahweh; I serve him like my mother did. He has freed/saved me from dying (OR, from being fastened by chains).
१६हे यहोवा, सुन, मैं तो तेरा दास हूँ; मैं तेरा दास, और तेरी दासी का पुत्र हूँ। तूने मेरे बन्धन खोल दिए हैं।
17 [So] I will offer to him a sacrifice to thank him, and I will pray to him.
१७मैं तुझको धन्यवाद-बलि चढ़ाऊँगा, और यहोवा से प्रार्थना करूँगा।
18 When I am together with many of [HYP] the people who belong to Yahweh, [in the courtyard] outside his temple in Jerusalem, I will give to him the offerings that I solemnly promised to give to him. Praise Yahweh!
१८मैं यहोवा के लिये अपनी मन्नतें, प्रगट में उसकी सारी प्रजा के सामने
१९यहोवा के भवन के आँगनों में, हे यरूशलेम, तेरे भीतर पूरी करूँगा। यहोवा की स्तुति करो!
