Psalms 113

1 Praise Yahweh! You people who serve Yahweh, praise him! Praise (him/his name)!

E HALELU aku ia Iehova: E halelu, e na kauwa a Iehova, E halelu aku oukou i ka inoa o Iehova.

2 Yahweh should be praised now and forever!

E hoomaikaiia ka inoa o Iehova, Mai keia wa aku a i ka manawa pau ole.

3 People who live in the east and people who live in the west, everyone, should praise Yahweh [MTY]!

Mai ka puka ana a ka la, a hiki i kona komo ana, E haleluia ka inoa o Iehova.

4 Yahweh rules [MTY] over all the nations, and high in the heavens he shows that his glory is very great.

Ua kiekie o Iehova, maluna o ko na aina a pau, A me kona hanohano hoi maluna o ka lani.

5 There is no one [RHQ] who is like Yahweh, our God, who lives/sits/rules in the highest heaven,

6 and looks far down through the heavens and sees the [people on] the earth.

7 [Sometimes] he lifts poor people up [so that they no longer sit in] the dirt; he helps needy [people so that they no longer sit on] heaps of ashes

Ka mea i hapai i ka mea ilihune, mai ka lepo mai, A hookiekie hoi i ka mea pilikia, mai ke kiona aku;

8 and causes them to [be honored] by sitting next to princes, the sons of the kings [who rule] their people.

I hoonoho ai oia ia ia me na'lii, Me na'lii hoi o kona poe kanaka.

9 He also enables women who have no children to have a family; he causes them to be happy mothers. Praise Yahweh!

A hoonoho hoi oia i ka wahine pa ma ka hale, I makuwahine, e lealea ana i na keiki ana. E halelu aku oukou ia Iehova.
