Psalms 112

1 Praise Yahweh! (Happy are/He is pleased with) those who revere him, those who happily obey his commands.

೧ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ! ಯಾರು ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ, ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಾನಂದಪಡುವನೋ ಅವನೇ ಧನ್ಯನು.

2 Their children will prosper in their land; and their descendants will be blessed [by God].

೨ಅವನ ಸಂತಾನವು ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠವಾಗುವುದು; ನೀತಿವಂತನ ವಂಶವು ಶುಭಹೊಂದುವುದು.

3 Their families [MTY] will be very wealthy [DOU], and [the results of] their righteous deeds will endure forever.

೩ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿರಿಸಂಪತ್ತುಗಳು ಇರುವವು; ಅವನ ನೀತಿಯು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಫಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು.

4 Godly/Righteous people are [like] lights [SIM] that shine in the darkness on those who are kind, merciful and righteous.

೪ಯಥಾರ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಮೂಡುವುದು; ದಯೆಯೂ, ಕನಿಕರವೂ, ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರೇ ಆ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ.

5 Things [will] go well for those who generously lend money to others and who conduct their businesses honestly.

೫ದಯಾಳುವಾಗಿ ಧನಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವವನೂ, ತನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಸುವವನೂ ಭಾಗ್ಯವಂತನು.

6 Righteous people will not be overwhelmed/worried/distressed [because of their troubles], and they will never be forgotten [by other people].

೬ಅವನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವರು.

7 They are not afraid of [receiving] bad news; they confidently/completely trust in Yahweh.

೭ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸುದ್ದಿಯ ಭಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಅವನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವುದು.

8 They are confident and not afraid, because they know that they will see [God defeat] their enemies.

೮ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗಾಗುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಾಣುವೆನೆಂಬ ಭರವಸೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ದೃಢವಾಗಿದೆ, ಹೆದರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

9 They give things generously to poor/needy [people]; [the results of] their kind deeds will endure forever, and they [will] be exalted and honored.

೯ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಉದಾರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನ ನೀತಿಯ ಫಲವು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರುವುದು. ಮಹಿಮೆಯೊಡನೆ ಅವನ ಕೊಂಬು ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಡುವುದು.

10 Wicked people see those things and are angry; they gnash their teeth [angrily], but they [will] disappear [and die]. The [wicked] things that they want to do [will] never happen.

೧೦ದುಷ್ಟನು ನೋಡಿ ವ್ಯಥೆಪಡುವನು; ಅವನು ಹಲ್ಲುಕಡಿಯುತ್ತಾ ನಾಶವಾಗುವನು. ದುಷ್ಟರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ಭಂಗವಾಗುವುದು.
