< Psalms 112 >
1 Praise Yahweh! (Happy are/He is pleased with) those who revere him, those who happily obey his commands.

2 Their children will prosper in their land; and their descendants will be blessed [by God].

3 Their families [MTY] will be very wealthy [DOU], and [the results of] their righteous deeds will endure forever.

4 Godly/Righteous people are [like] lights [SIM] that shine in the darkness on those who are kind, merciful and righteous.
Ngʼama ngimane oriere ler rienyne kata gotieno, ngʼat mangʼwon, ma kecho ji kendo makare.
5 Things [will] go well for those who generously lend money to others and who conduct their businesses honestly.
Ngʼama ngʼwon ma holo ji gige gi chuny maler biro neno ber ngʼat matiyo tijene gi adiera.
6 Righteous people will not be overwhelmed/worried/distressed [because of their troubles], and they will never be forgotten [by other people].
Adier, onge gima nyalo yienge, ngʼat makare ibiro par nyaka chiengʼ.
7 They are not afraid of [receiving] bad news; they confidently/completely trust in Yahweh.
Ok oluoro weche makelo kuyo nikech chunye otegno kendo ogeno kuom Jehova Nyasaye.
8 They are confident and not afraid, because they know that they will see [God defeat] their enemies.
Chunye ok chandre kendo oonge gi luoro moro amora; ongʼeyo ni obiro neno ka olo wasike ka en to olocho.
9 They give things generously to poor/needy [people]; [the results of] their kind deeds will endure forever, and they [will] be exalted and honored.
Gisepogo gigegi ne joma odhier, bergi osiko nyaka chiengʼ; duongʼne gi luor ma ji oluorego, biro siko nyaka chiengʼ.
10 Wicked people see those things and are angry; they gnash their teeth [angrily], but they [will] disappear [and die]. The [wicked] things that they want to do [will] never happen.
