< Psalms 112 >
1 Praise Yahweh! (Happy are/He is pleased with) those who revere him, those who happily obey his commands.
Kathutkung: Panuekhoeh BAWIPA teh pholen awh. BAWIPA ka taketnaw hoi kâpoelawknaw a lung kahawikhai katang e teh a yaw kahawi e doeh.
2 Their children will prosper in their land; and their descendants will be blessed [by God].

3 Their families [MTY] will be very wealthy [DOU], and [the results of] their righteous deeds will endure forever.
A im vah hnopai a tawnta awh vaiteh, a lannae teh a yungyoe a kangning han.
4 Godly/Righteous people are [like] lights [SIM] that shine in the darkness on those who are kind, merciful and righteous.
Tami kalan hanelah teh hmonae koehoi angnae a tâco teh, ama teh pahrennae lungmanae, lannae hoi ka kawi e lah ao.
5 Things [will] go well for those who generously lend money to others and who conduct their businesses honestly.
Tami kahawi niteh, pahrennae lahoi a cawi sak teh, ama teh ka lan lah kho a sak han.
6 Righteous people will not be overwhelmed/worried/distressed [because of their troubles], and they will never be forgotten [by other people].
Khoeroe kâhuen mahoeh. Tami kalan teh panue e lah pou ao han.
7 They are not afraid of [receiving] bad news; they confidently/completely trust in Yahweh.
Kamthang kahawihoehe ni taket sak mahoeh. BAWIPA a kâuep teh a lungthin a cak.
8 They are confident and not afraid, because they know that they will see [God defeat] their enemies.
A lungthin caksak lah ao dawkvah, a tarannaw koe a ngai e a pha totouh, taket mahoeh.
9 They give things generously to poor/needy [people]; [the results of] their kind deeds will endure forever, and they [will] be exalted and honored.
Lungthocalah hoi a rei teh, karoedengnaw hah a poe toe. A lannae teh a yungyoe a kangning. A ki teh barinae lahoi tawm lah ao han.
10 Wicked people see those things and are angry; they gnash their teeth [angrily], but they [will] disappear [and die]. The [wicked] things that they want to do [will] never happen.
Tamikathoutnaw ni hmawt awh vaiteh, a lungkhuek awh han. A hâkam kata awh vaiteh, koung atum pouh han. Tamikathoutnaw e ngainae teh koung a kahma pouh han.
