Psalms 107
1 Give thanks to Yahweh, because he always does good [things for us] His faithful love [for us] lasts forever!
௧யெகோவாவை துதியுங்கள்; அவர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது.
2 Those whom Yahweh has saved should tell others that he has rescued them from their enemies.
௨யெகோவாவால் எதிரியின் கைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்கப்பட்டு,
3 He has gathered [those of you] who were [(exiled/taken forcefully)] to many lands; [he has gathered you together from] the east and the west, from the north and from the south.
௩கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலும் வடக்கிலும் தெற்கிலுமுள்ள பல தேசங்களிலுமிருந்து சேர்க்கப்பட்டவர்கள், அப்படிச் சொல்வார்களாக.
4 Some of those [who returned from those countries] wandered in the desert; they were lost and had no homes to live in.
௪அவர்கள் வாழும் ஊரைக்காணாமல், வனாந்திரத்திலே பாலைவனவழியாக,
5 They were hungry and thirsty, and they were very discouraged.
௫பசியாகவும், தாகமாகவும், ஆத்துமா சோர்ந்துபோனதாகவும் அலைந்து திரிந்தார்கள்.
6 When they were in trouble, they called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from (being distressed/their difficulties).
௬தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள், அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளிலிருந்து அவர்களை மீட்டெடுத்தார்.
7 He led them along a straight road [where they walked safely] to cities [in Canaan] where they could live.
௭வாழும் ஊருக்குப்போய்ச்சேர, அவர்களைச் செவ்வையான வழியிலே நடத்தினார்.
8 They should praise/thank Yahweh for loving them faithfully and for the wonderful things that he does for people.
௮தாகமுள்ள ஆத்துமாவைக் யெகோவா திருப்தியாக்கி, பசியுள்ள ஆத்துமாவை நன்மையினால் நிரப்புகிறாரென்று,
9 He gives thirsty people plenty [of water] to drink, and he gives hungry people plenty of good things [to eat].
௯அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்களாக.
10 Some of them were in very dark [HEN] (places [in Babylonia/other countries]); they were prisoners, suffering because of chains [fastened to their hands and feet].
௧0தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கலகம்செய்து, உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய ஆலோசனையை அசட்டைசெய்தவர்கள்,
11 They were in prison because they had (rebelled against/not obeyed) the message of God; they were there because they had despised the advice given by God, who is greater than all other gods.
௧௧காரிருளிலும் மரண இருளிலும் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்து, ஒடுக்கத்திலும் இரும்பிலும் கட்டப்பட்டு கிடந்தார்கள்.
12 [That is why] their bodies were worn out from hard labor; when they fell down, there was no one who would help them.
௧௨அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்தை அவர் வருத்தத்தால் தாழ்த்தினார்; உதவிசெய்ய ஒருவரும் இல்லாமல் விழுந்து போனார்கள்.
13 In their troubles, they called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their being distressed.
௧௩தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளிலிருந்து அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கிக் காப்பாற்றினார்.
14 He broke the chains that were on their hands and feet; and brought them out of those very dark [prisons].
௧௪காரிருளிலும் மரண இருளிலுமிருந்து அவர்களை வெளிப்படச்செய்து, அவர்களுடைய கட்டுகளை அறுத்தார்.
15 He broke down the [prison] gates that were made of bronze, and cut through the [prison] bars that were made of iron. [So they also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving [them], and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
௧௫யெகோவா வெண்கலக் கதவுகளை உடைத்து, இரும்புத் தாழ்ப்பாள்களை முறித்தாரென்று,
௧௬அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்களாக.
17 Some of them foolishly rebelled [against God], so they suffered for their sins.
௧௭புத்தியீனரும் தங்களுடைய கலக வழிகளாலும் தங்களுடைய அக்கிரமங்களாலும் நோய்கொண்டு ஒடுங்கிப்போகிறார்கள்.
18 They did not want to eat any food, and they almost died.
௧௮அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா எல்லா உணவையும் வெறுக்கிறது, அவர்கள் மரணவாசல்கள் வரையிலும் நெருங்குகிறார்கள்.
19 In their troubles, they [also] called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their being distressed.
௧௯தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளுக்கு அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கிக் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்.
20 When he commanded that they be healed, they were healed; he saved them from dying.
௨0அவர் தமது வசனத்தை அனுப்பி அவர்களைக் குணமாக்கி, அவர்களை அழிவுக்குத் தப்புவிக்கிறார்.
21 They [also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving them, and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
௨௧அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் துதித்து,
22 They should give offerings to him to show that they are thankful, and they should sing joyfully about the miracles that he has performed.
௨௨நன்றிபலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, அவருடைய செயல்களை ஆனந்த சத்தத்தோடு விவரிப்பார்களாக.
23 Some of them sailed in ships; they were selling things [in ports] throughout the world.
௨௩கப்பலேறி, கடற்பயணம்செய்து, திரளான தண்ணீர்களிலே தொழில் செய்கிறார்களே,
24 [As they were sailing], they also saw the miracles that Yahweh performed, the wonderful things that he did [when they were] on very deep seas.
௨௪அவர்கள் யெகோவாவுடைய செயல்களையும், ஆழத்திலே அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையும் காண்கிறார்கள்.
25 He commanded the winds, and they became strong and (stirred up high waves/caused waves to rise high).
௨௫அவர் கட்டளையிட பெருங்காற்று எழும்பி, அதின் அலைகளைக் கொந்தளிக்கச்செய்யும்.
26 The ships [in which they were sailing] were tossed high in the air, and [then] they sank into the (troughs/low places) [between the high waves]; then the sailors were terrified.
௨௬அவர்கள் வானத்தில் ஏறி, ஆழங்களில் இறங்குகிறார்கள், அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா துன்பத்தினால் கரைந்துபோகிறது.
27 They stumbled about and staggered like drunken men, and they did not know what to do.
௨௭குடித்துவெறித்தவனைப்போல் அலைந்து தடுமாறுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய ஞானமெல்லாம் முழுகிப்போகிறது.
28 In their troubles, they [also] called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their distresses.
௨௮அப்பொழுது தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள், அவர்களுடைய இக்கட்டுகளுக்கு அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கி விடுவிக்கிறார்.
29 He (calmed the storm/caused the wind to stop blowing), and he caused the waves to completely subside.
௨௯கொந்தளிப்பை அமர்த்துகிறார், அதின் அலைகள் அடங்குகின்றது.
30 They were [very] glad when it became calm; and Yahweh brought them safely into a harbor.
௩0அமைதி உண்டானதிற்காக அவர்கள் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறார்கள்; தாங்கள் விரும்பிய துறைமுகத்தில் அவர்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து சேர்க்கிறார்.
31 They [also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving [them], and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
௩௧அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் துதித்து,
32 They should praise him among the [Israeli] people when they have gathered together, and they should praise him in front of the leaders [of the country].
௩௨மக்களின் சபையிலே அவரை உயர்த்தி, மூப்பர்களின் சங்கத்திலே அவரைப் போற்றுவார்களாக.
33 [Sometimes] Yahweh causes rivers [to become dry], [with the result that the land] becomes a desert, and springs of water become dry land.
௩௩அவர் ஆறுகளை வனாந்திரமாகவும், நீரூற்றுகளை வறண்ட இடமாகவும்,
34 [Sometimes] he causes land that has produced lots of crops to become salty wastelands, [with the result that they do not produce crops]. He does that because the people who live there are [very] wicked.
௩௪குடிகளுடைய பொல்லாப்புக்காக செழிப்பான தேசத்தைத் தரிசு நிலமாகவும் மாற்றுகிறார்.
35 [But sometimes] he causes pools of water to appear in deserts, and he causes springs to flow in very dry ground.
௩௫அவர் வனாந்திரவெளியைத் தண்ணீர் குளமாகவும், வறண்ட நிலத்தை நீரூற்றுகளாகவும் மாற்றி,
36 He brings hungry [people] into that land, to live there and build cities [there].
௩௬பசித்தவர்களை அங்கே குடியேற்றுகிறார்; அங்கே அவர்கள் குடியிருக்கும் நகரத்தைக் கட்டி,
37 They plant seeds in their fields, and they plant grapevines that produce big crops [of grapes].
௩௭வயல்களை உண்டாக்கி விதைத்து, திராட்சைத்தோட்டங்களை நாட்டுகிறார்கள், அவைகள் வரத்துள்ள பலனைத் தரும்.
38 He blesses the people, and the women give birth to many children, and they have large herds of cattle.
௩௮அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார், மிகுதியும் பெருகுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்கள் குறையாமலிருக்கச்செய்கிறார்.
39 When the number of people becomes smaller and they have been humiliated [by their enemies] by being oppressed and caused to suffer [DOU],
௩௯பின்பு அவர்கள் இடுக்கத்தினாலும், ஆபத்தினாலும், துயரத்தினாலும் குறைவுபட்டுத் தாழ்வடைகிறார்கள்.
40 Yahweh shows contempt for the leaders who oppress them, and causes them to wander in deserts where there are no roads.
௪0அவர் எதிரிகளின் தலைவர்கள்மேல் இகழ்ச்சிவரச்செய்து, வழியில்லாத வனாந்திர வெளியிலே அவர்களைத் திரியச்செய்து,
41 But he rescues poor [people] from (being in misery/suffering), and causes their families [to increase in number] like flocks of sheep.
௪௧எளியவனையோ சிறுமையிலிருந்து எடுத்து, உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வைத்து, அவனுடைய வம்சங்களை மந்தையைப்போலாக்குகிறார்.
42 Godly/Righteous [people will (see/hear about)] these things, and they will rejoice, and wicked people [will hear about these things, too], [but] they will have nothing to say in reply.
௪௨உத்தமர்கள் அதைக்கண்டு மகிழுவார்கள்; நியாயக்கேடெல்லாம் தன்னுடைய வாயை மூடும்.
43 Those who are wise should think carefully about those things; they should consider [all the things] that Yahweh [has done to show that he] faithfully loves [them].
௪௩எவன் ஞானமுள்ளவனோ அவன் இவைகளைக் கவனிக்கட்டும்; ஞானவான்கள் யெகோவாவுடைய கிருபைகளை உணர்ந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
