Psalms 107
1 Give thanks to Yahweh, because he always does good [things for us] His faithful love [for us] lasts forever!
യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‌വിൻ; അവൻ നല്ലവനല്ലോ അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു!
2 Those whom Yahweh has saved should tell others that he has rescued them from their enemies.
യഹോവ വൈരിയുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുക്കയും കിഴക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറും വടക്കും കടലിലും ഉള്ള
3 He has gathered [those of you] who were [(exiled/taken forcefully)] to many lands; [he has gathered you together from] the east and the west, from the north and from the south.
ദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കയും ചെയ്തവരായ അവന്റെ വിമുക്തന്മാർ അങ്ങനെ പറയട്ടെ.
4 Some of those [who returned from those countries] wandered in the desert; they were lost and had no homes to live in.
അവർ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ജനസഞ്ചാരമില്ലാത്ത വഴിയിൽ ഉഴന്നുനടന്നു; പാർപ്പാൻ ഒരു പട്ടണവും അവർ കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ല.
5 They were hungry and thirsty, and they were very discouraged.
അവർ വിശന്നും ദാഹിച്ചും ഇരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പ്രാണൻ അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ തളർന്നു.
6 When they were in trouble, they called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from (being distressed/their difficulties).
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു.
7 He led them along a straight road [where they walked safely] to cities [in Canaan] where they could live.
അവർ പാർപ്പാൻ തക്ക പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ അവരെ ചൊവ്വെയുള്ള വഴിയിൽ നടത്തി.
8 They should praise/thank Yahweh for loving them faithfully and for the wonderful things that he does for people.
അവർ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.
9 He gives thirsty people plenty [of water] to drink, and he gives hungry people plenty of good things [to eat].
അവൻ ആർത്തിയുള്ളവന്നു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുകയും വിശപ്പുള്ളവനെ നന്മകൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
10 Some of them were in very dark [HEN] (places [in Babylonia/other countries]); they were prisoners, suffering because of chains [fastened to their hands and feet].
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളോടു മത്സരിക്കയും അത്യുന്നതന്റെ ആലോചനയെ നിരസിക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടു ഇരുളിലും അന്ധതമസ്സിലും ഇരുന്നു
11 They were in prison because they had (rebelled against/not obeyed) the message of God; they were there because they had despised the advice given by God, who is greater than all other gods.
അരിഷ്ടതയാലും ഇരുമ്പുചങ്ങലയാലും ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ -
12 [That is why] their bodies were worn out from hard labor; when they fell down, there was no one who would help them.
അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അവൻ കഷ്ടതകൊണ്ടു താഴ്ത്തി; അവർ ഇടറിവീണു; സഹായിപ്പാൻ ആരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
13 In their troubles, they called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their being distressed.
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.
14 He broke the chains that were on their hands and feet; and brought them out of those very dark [prisons].
അവൻ അവരെ ഇരുട്ടിൽനിന്നും അന്ധതമസ്സിൽനിന്നും പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ അറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.
15 He broke down the [prison] gates that were made of bronze, and cut through the [prison] bars that were made of iron. [So they also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving [them], and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
അവർ യഹോവയെ, അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.
അവൻ താമ്രകതകുകളെ തകർത്തു, ഇരിമ്പോടാമ്പലുകളെ മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
17 Some of them foolishly rebelled [against God], so they suffered for their sins.
ഭോഷന്മാർ തങ്ങളുടെ ലംഘനങ്ങൾ ഹേതുവായും തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾനിമിത്തവും കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു.
18 They did not want to eat any food, and they almost died.
അവർക്കു സകലവിധ ഭക്ഷണത്തോടും വെറുപ്പുതോന്നി; അവർ മരണവാതിലുകളോടു സമീപിച്ചിരുന്നു.
19 In their troubles, they [also] called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their being distressed.
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ചു.
20 When he commanded that they be healed, they were healed; he saved them from dying.
അവൻ തന്റെ വചനത്തെ അയച്ചു അവരെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കി; അവരുടെ കുഴികളിൽനിന്നു അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
21 They [also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving them, and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
അവർ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.
22 They should give offerings to him to show that they are thankful, and they should sing joyfully about the miracles that he has performed.
അവർ സ്തോത്രയാഗങ്ങളെ കഴിക്കയും സംഗീതത്തോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ വർണ്ണിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.
23 Some of them sailed in ships; they were selling things [in ports] throughout the world.
കപ്പൽ കയറി സമുദ്രത്തിൽ ഓടിയവർ, പെരുവെള്ളങ്ങളിൽ വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്തവർ,
24 [As they were sailing], they also saw the miracles that Yahweh performed, the wonderful things that he did [when they were] on very deep seas.
അവർ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും ആഴിയിൽ അവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും കണ്ടു.
25 He commanded the winds, and they became strong and (stirred up high waves/caused waves to rise high).
അവൻ കല്പിച്ചു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു അടിപ്പിച്ചു, അതു അതിലെ തിരകളെ പൊങ്ങുമാറാക്കി.
26 The ships [in which they were sailing] were tossed high in the air, and [then] they sank into the (troughs/low places) [between the high waves]; then the sailors were terrified.
അവർ ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു ഉയർന്നു, വീണ്ടും ആഴത്തിലേക്കു താണു, അവരുടെ പ്രാണൻ കഷ്ടത്താൽ ഉരുകിപ്പോയി.
27 They stumbled about and staggered like drunken men, and they did not know what to do.
അവർ മത്തനെപ്പോലെ തുള്ളി ചാഞ്ചാടിനടന്നു; അവരുടെ ബുദ്ധി പൊയ്പോയിരുന്നു.
28 In their troubles, they [also] called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their distresses.
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു.
29 He (calmed the storm/caused the wind to stop blowing), and he caused the waves to completely subside.
അവൻ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിനെ ശാന്തമാക്കി; തിരമാലകൾ അടങ്ങി.
30 They were [very] glad when it became calm; and Yahweh brought them safely into a harbor.
ശാന്തത വന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവർ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച തുറമുഖത്തു അവൻ അവരെ എത്തിച്ചു.
31 They [also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving [them], and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
അവർ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.
32 They should praise him among the [Israeli] people when they have gathered together, and they should praise him in front of the leaders [of the country].
അവർ ജനത്തിന്റെ സഭയിൽ അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തുകയും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ സംഘത്തിൽ അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.
33 [Sometimes] Yahweh causes rivers [to become dry], [with the result that the land] becomes a desert, and springs of water become dry land.
നിവാസികളുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തം അവൻ നദികളെ മരുഭൂമിയും
34 [Sometimes] he causes land that has produced lots of crops to become salty wastelands, [with the result that they do not produce crops]. He does that because the people who live there are [very] wicked.
നീരുറവുകളെ വരണ്ട നിലവും ഫലപ്രദമായ ഭൂമിയെ ഉവർന്നിലവും ആക്കി.
35 [But sometimes] he causes pools of water to appear in deserts, and he causes springs to flow in very dry ground.
അവൻ മരുഭൂമിയെ ജലതടാകവും വരണ്ട നിലത്തെ നീരുറവുകളും ആക്കി.
36 He brings hungry [people] into that land, to live there and build cities [there].
വിശന്നവരെ അവൻ അവിടെ പാർപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ പാർപ്പാൻ പട്ടണം ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും നിലം വിതെക്കയും
37 They plant seeds in their fields, and they plant grapevines that produce big crops [of grapes].
മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം നട്ടുണ്ടാക്കുകയും സമൃദ്ധിയായി ഫലങ്ങളെ അനുഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
38 He blesses the people, and the women give birth to many children, and they have large herds of cattle.
അവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിട്ടു അവർ അത്യന്തം പെരുകി; അവരുടെ കന്നുകാലികൾ കുറഞ്ഞുപോകുവാൻ അവൻ ഇടവരുത്തിയില്ല.
39 When the number of people becomes smaller and they have been humiliated [by their enemies] by being oppressed and caused to suffer [DOU],
പീഡനവും കഷ്ടതയും സങ്കടവും ഹേതുവായി അവർ പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞു താണുപോയി.
40 Yahweh shows contempt for the leaders who oppress them, and causes them to wander in deserts where there are no roads.
അവൻ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെമേൽ നിന്ദ പകരുകയും വഴിയില്ലാത്ത ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തു അവരെ ഉഴലുമാറാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
41 But he rescues poor [people] from (being in misery/suffering), and causes their families [to increase in number] like flocks of sheep.
അവൻ ദരിദ്രനെ പീഡയിൽനിന്നു ഉയർത്തി അവന്റെ കുലങ്ങളെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടംപോലെ ആക്കി.
42 Godly/Righteous [people will (see/hear about)] these things, and they will rejoice, and wicked people [will hear about these things, too], [but] they will have nothing to say in reply.
നേരുള്ളവർ ഇതു കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കും; നീതികെട്ടവർ ഒക്കെയും വായ്പൊത്തും.
43 Those who are wise should think carefully about those things; they should consider [all the things] that Yahweh [has done to show that he] faithfully loves [them].
ജ്ഞാനമുള്ളവർ ഇവയെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കും; അവർ യഹോവയുടെ കൃപകളെ ചിന്തിക്കും.
