< Psalms 107 >

1 Give thanks to Yahweh, because he always does good [things for us] His faithful love [for us] lasts forever!
Bawipa taw a leek a dawngawh a venawh zeelnaak awi kqawn lah uh; a lungnaak awm kumqui dy cak hy.
2 Those whom Yahweh has saved should tell others that he has rescued them from their enemies.
Bawipa a hul thlangkhqi ing ve ve kqawn seh – qaal a kut khuiawh kawng a hul thlangkhqi,
3 He has gathered [those of you] who were [(exiled/taken forcefully)] to many lands; [he has gathered you together from] the east and the west, from the north and from the south.
qampum awhkawng a cunboem thlangkhqi, khawlaw khawtlak, a sip a hawt awhkaw thlangkhqi boeih ing kqawn seh.
4 Some of those [who returned from those countries] wandered in the desert; they were lost and had no homes to live in.
Thlang vang taw khawkpawng qamkoh awh pla unawh, ami awmnaak hly kawi awm am hu uhy.
5 They were hungry and thirsty, and they were very discouraged.
Phoen cawi tui ngaih unawh zai doek doek hqoeng uhy.
6 When they were in trouble, they called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from (being distressed/their difficulties).
Cemyihna ami khuikha awh Bawipa venawh kqang uhy, anih ing cekkhqi ce ami khuikhanaak awhkawng hul khqi hy.
7 He led them along a straight road [where they walked safely] to cities [in Canaan] where they could live.
Anih ing cekkhqi awmnaak hly kawi khawk bau lam dyng awh ce hqui a sawi phat hy.
8 They should praise/thank Yahweh for loving them faithfully and for the wonderful things that he does for people.
A lungnaak amak dyt thai ing thlangkhqi ham kawpoek kyi a ik-oeih sainaak awh cekkhqi ing Bawipa venawh zeelnaak awi kqawn u seh,
9 He gives thirsty people plenty [of water] to drink, and he gives hungry people plenty of good things [to eat].
kawtih tui ak ngaih ce tui ngaih sit sak nawh phoen ak cawi ce ik-oeih leek buh ing phoen phyi sak hy.
10 Some of them were in very dark [HEN] (places [in Babylonia/other countries]); they were prisoners, suffering because of chains [fastened to their hands and feet].
Thlang vang taw thannaak a hyp tit khuiawh ngawi unawh, kenqui qui ing thawng tla uhy,
11 They were in prison because they had (rebelled against/not obeyed) the message of God; they were there because they had despised the advice given by God, who is greater than all other gods.
Ikawtih cekkhqi ing Khawsak awikhqi ce hilh unawh Sawsang soeih ak awi ynaak ce ikaw na am hu uhy.
12 [That is why] their bodies were worn out from hard labor; when they fell down, there was no one who would help them.
Cedawngawh cekkhqi ce bik tlo bi sak khqi hy; bah hlai uhy, ak leng hly kawi u am awm hy.
13 In their troubles, they called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their being distressed.
Kyinaak ami huhnaak khui awhkawng Bawipa venawh khy uhy, cawh anih ing khuikhnaak khui awhkawng cekkhqi ce hul khqi hy.
14 He broke the chains that were on their hands and feet; and brought them out of those very dark [prisons].
Cekkhqi ce than a hypnaak awhkawng sawi law nawh kenquikhqi ce hlam pehy.
15 He broke down the [prison] gates that were made of bronze, and cut through the [prison] bars that were made of iron. [So they also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving [them], and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.

kawtih anih ing qawhum chawh ce hqe nawh a kalhnaak thiboeng awm ek pe sak hy.
17 Some of them foolishly rebelled [against God], so they suffered for their sins.
A mimah ang hqohqitnaak awh a vang taw qaw unawh, awm tloei tlawhnaak awh khuikha boeih uhy.
18 They did not want to eat any food, and they almost died.
Buh a an boeih tyih unawh thihnaak chawmkeng benna thoeih uhy.
19 In their troubles, they [also] called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their being distressed.
Kyinaak ami huh awh Bawipa venawh kqang unawh khuikhanaak khui awhkawng cekkhqi ce hul khqi hy.
20 When he commanded that they be healed, they were healed; he saved them from dying.
Ak awi ce tyi nawh cekkhqi ce qoei sak hy; phyi ak khui awhkawng cekkhqi ce hul hy.
21 They [also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving them, and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
A lungnaak amak dyt thai ing thlangkhqi ham ik-oeih leek a sai a dawngawh Bawipa venawh zeelnaak awi kqawn u seh.
22 They should give offerings to him to show that they are thankful, and they should sing joyfully about the miracles that he has performed.
Zeelnaak ik-oeih ce nawn u seitaw zeelnaak laakhqi ing a ik-oeih sainaak ce kqawn u seh.
23 Some of them sailed in ships; they were selling things [in ports] throughout the world.
Ak changkhqi taw tuicun awh lawng ing cet uhy; tuibau awh ik-oeih ak zawikhqi na awm uhy.
24 [As they were sailing], they also saw the miracles that Yahweh performed, the wonderful things that he did [when they were] on very deep seas.
Cekkhqi ing Bawipa a sai ik-oeih, tuihdung khuiawh ak sai ik-oeihkhqi ce hu uhy.
25 He commanded the winds, and they became strong and (stirred up high waves/caused waves to rise high).
Ikawtih awi kqawn nawh khaw hli sak hy, ce ing tuinu ak sang na thawh sak hy.
26 The ships [in which they were sailing] were tossed high in the air, and [then] they sank into the (troughs/low places) [between the high waves]; then the sailors were terrified.
Khawnghi dyna hang tho nawh tuihdung khuina nung tla tlaih hy; kqih a awm aih a dawngawh a qaal leeknaak ce sauh pung hy.
27 They stumbled about and staggered like drunken men, and they did not know what to do.
Zukquikhqi amyihna a kenghal na cet unawh; a cyihnaak a dytnaak awh plal pahoei hy.
28 In their troubles, they [also] called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their distresses.
Kyinaak ami huh awhtaw Bawipa venawh kqang unawh, khuikhanaak khui awhkawng cekkhqi ce hqui a sawi khqi hy.
29 He (calmed the storm/caused the wind to stop blowing), and he caused the waves to completely subside.
Khawhli ce zilh na sit sak nawh; tuicunli awhkaw tuinu ce dym sap uhy.
30 They were [very] glad when it became calm; and Yahweh brought them safely into a harbor.
A ming dym sap awh zeel uhy, cawh ang cainaak tuikeng na cekkhqi ce sawi khqi hy.
31 They [also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving [them], and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
A lungnaak amak dyt thai ing cekkhqi ce, thlangkhqi hamna kawpoek kyi ik-oeih a saikhqi awh Bawipa a venawh zeelnaak awi kqawn u seh.
32 They should praise him among the [Israeli] people when they have gathered together, and they should praise him in front of the leaders [of the country].
Thlang kqeng a cunnaak awh anih ce zoeksang unawh taw a hqamcakhqi amim cunnaak awh kyihcah lah uh.
33 [Sometimes] Yahweh causes rivers [to become dry], [with the result that the land] becomes a desert, and springs of water become dry land.
Anih ing longkhqi ce qamkoh na coeng sak nawh, lawngca awhkawng ce cengdek na coeng sak hy.
34 [Sometimes] he causes land that has produced lots of crops to become salty wastelands, [with the result that they do not produce crops]. He does that because the people who live there are [very] wicked.
Ce hun awh ak awm thlangkhqi a seetnaak awh, lunglai ak leek soeih ce sihtui cidek na coeng sak hy.
35 [But sometimes] he causes pools of water to appear in deserts, and he causes springs to flow in very dry ground.
Qamkoh ce tui ing be sak hamna ak koh hun awhkawng tui thoeng sak bai hy;
36 He brings hungry [people] into that land, to live there and build cities [there].
cawh phoen ak cawikhqi ce awm sak khqi nawh, cekkhqi ami awmnaak hly khaw ce syn uhy.
37 They plant seeds in their fields, and they plant grapevines that produce big crops [of grapes].
Lokhqi toen unawh misur thingkhqi ling uhy, ak thaihkhqi qah pehy;
38 He blesses the people, and the women give birth to many children, and they have large herds of cattle.
cekkhqi ce zoseennaak pe nawh, pung a tai uhy, ak khqinkhqi awm am zawitlak pe sak hy.
39 When the number of people becomes smaller and they have been humiliated [by their enemies] by being oppressed and caused to suffer [DOU],
Cekcoengawh taw huhsitnaak, khuikhanaak ingkaw kawseetnaak awh thlangmi ce zawi hqui voe voe unawh, ak kaidyt na awm bai uhy;
40 Yahweh shows contempt for the leaders who oppress them, and causes them to wander in deserts where there are no roads.
thlakbaukhqik khan awh khawsi ak qawnkung ing cekkhqi ce khawkpawng lam ama awmnaak awh pla sak khqi hy.
41 But he rescues poor [people] from (being in misery/suffering), and causes their families [to increase in number] like flocks of sheep.
Cehlai anih ing khawdeng thlangkhqi ce hak zoeksang nawh tukkqeng amyihna a ipkhui cakawkhqi ce kqeng sak hy.
42 Godly/Righteous [people will (see/hear about)] these things, and they will rejoice, and wicked people [will hear about these things, too], [but] they will have nothing to say in reply.
Thlakdyng ingtaw hu nawh zeel hlai hy, thlakchekhqi ingtaw amim kha mym khoep uhy.
43 Those who are wise should think carefully about those things; they should consider [all the things] that Yahweh [has done to show that he] faithfully loves [them].
