Psalms 107
1 Give thanks to Yahweh, because he always does good [things for us] His faithful love [for us] lasts forever!
Pasalamati si Yahweh, kay siya maayo, ug ang iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan molungtad sa kahangtoran.
2 Those whom Yahweh has saved should tell others that he has rescued them from their enemies.
Tugoti nga mosulti ang giluwas ni Yahweh, kadtong iyang gitubos gikan sa kamot sa ilang kaaway.
3 He has gathered [those of you] who were [(exiled/taken forcefully)] to many lands; [he has gathered you together from] the east and the west, from the north and from the south.
Gitigom niya (sila) gikan sa langyaw nga kayutaan, gikan sa sidlakan ug gikan sa kasadpan, gikan sa amihan ug gikan sa habagatan.
4 Some of those [who returned from those countries] wandered in the desert; they were lost and had no homes to live in.
Naglatagaw (sila) sa kamingawan sa desiyerto nga dalan ug wala nakakaplag ug siyudad nga mapuy-an.
5 They were hungry and thirsty, and they were very discouraged.
Tungod kay gigutom ug giuhaw (sila) nakuyapan (sila) tungod sa kaluya
6 When they were in trouble, they called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from (being distressed/their difficulties).
Unya mitawag (sila) kang Yahweh sa ilang kalisdanan, ug giluwas niya (sila) sa ilang pag-antos.
7 He led them along a straight road [where they walked safely] to cities [in Canaan] where they could live.
Gitultolan niya (sila) sa maayong dalan aron nga makaadto (sila) sa siyudad nga ilang pagapuy-an.
8 They should praise/thank Yahweh for loving them faithfully and for the wonderful things that he does for people.
O, kana nga mga tawo magadayeg kang Yahweh tungod sa iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan ug alang sa kahibulongang mga butang nga iyang nabuhat alang sa katawhan!
9 He gives thirsty people plenty [of water] to drink, and he gives hungry people plenty of good things [to eat].
Kay pagatagbawon niya ang gipangandoy niadtong giuhaw, ug ang tinguha niadtong gigutom iyang pagabusgon sa maayong mga butang.
10 Some of them were in very dark [HEN] (places [in Babylonia/other countries]); they were prisoners, suffering because of chains [fastened to their hands and feet].
Ang pipila naglingkod sa kangitngit ug sa ngiob, binilanggo sa pag-antos ug mga kadena.
11 They were in prison because they had (rebelled against/not obeyed) the message of God; they were there because they had despised the advice given by God, who is greater than all other gods.
Tungod kay (sila) misupak batok sa pulong sa Dios ug gisalikway ang pagtudlo sa Labing Halangdon.
12 [That is why] their bodies were worn out from hard labor; when they fell down, there was no one who would help them.
Gipaubos niya ang ilang mga kasingkasing pinaagi sa kalisdanan; napandol (sila) ug walay bisan usa nga motabang kanila.
13 In their troubles, they called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their being distressed.
Unya mitawag (sila) kang Yahweh sa ilang kalisdanan, ug gipalingkawas niya (sila) sa ilang pag-antos.
14 He broke the chains that were on their hands and feet; and brought them out of those very dark [prisons].
Gipagawas niya (sila) sa kangitngit ug ngiob ug gitangtang ang ilang mga gapos.
15 He broke down the [prison] gates that were made of bronze, and cut through the [prison] bars that were made of iron. [So they also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving [them], and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
O, ang mga tawo magadayeg kang Yahweh tungod sa iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan ug alang sa kahibulongan nga mga butang nga iyang nabuhat alang sa katawhan!
Kay iyang giguba ang ganghaan nga tumbaga ug giputol ang mga rehas nga puthaw.
17 Some of them foolishly rebelled [against God], so they suffered for their sins.
Buangbuang (sila) sa ilang masinupakon nga pamaagi ug nag-antos tungod sa ilang mga sala.
18 They did not want to eat any food, and they almost died.
Nawala ang ilang tinguha sa pagkaon sa bisan unsa nga pagkaon, ug nagkaduol (sila) sa ganghaan sa kamatayon.
19 In their troubles, they [also] called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their being distressed.
Unya mitawag (sila) kang Yahweh sa ilang kalisdanan, ug gipalingkawas niya (sila) sa ilang pag-antos.
20 When he commanded that they be healed, they were healed; he saved them from dying.
Gipadala niya ang iyang pulong ug giayo (sila) ug giluwas niya (sila) gikan sa ilang kalaglagan.
21 They [also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving them, and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
O, nga ang mga tawo magadayeg kang Yahweh alang sa iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan ug alang sa kahibulongan nga mga butang nga iyang nabuhat alang sa katawhan!
22 They should give offerings to him to show that they are thankful, and they should sing joyfully about the miracles that he has performed.
Tugoti (sila) nga maghatag ug mga halad sa pagpasalamat ug sa pagmantala sa iyang mga buhat sa pag-awit.
23 Some of them sailed in ships; they were selling things [in ports] throughout the world.
Ang pipila naglawig sa dagat sakay sa sakayan ug nagpatigayon sa layo.
24 [As they were sailing], they also saw the miracles that Yahweh performed, the wonderful things that he did [when they were] on very deep seas.
Nakita nila ang mga buhat ni Yahweh ug ang iyang kahibulongan ngadto sa kadagatan.
25 He commanded the winds, and they became strong and (stirred up high waves/caused waves to rise high).
Kay iyang gisugo ang dagat nga modako ug ang hangin nga magkutaw sa kadagatan.
26 The ships [in which they were sailing] were tossed high in the air, and [then] they sank into the (troughs/low places) [between the high waves]; then the sailors were terrified.
Miabot (sila) sa kawanangan; mipaubos (sila) sa kinahiladman. Ang ilang mga kinabuhi nahanaw sa pag-antos.
27 They stumbled about and staggered like drunken men, and they did not know what to do.
Natabyog ug nagsarasay (sila) sama sa hubog ug wala masayod sa ilang buhaton.
28 In their troubles, they [also] called out to Yahweh, and he rescued them from their distresses.
Unya mitawag (sila) kang Yahweh sa ilang kalisdanan, ug gipalingkawas niya (sila) sa ilang pag-antos.
29 He (calmed the storm/caused the wind to stop blowing), and he caused the waves to completely subside.
Gipakalma niya ang bagyo, ug ang mga balod nahapsay.
30 They were [very] glad when it became calm; and Yahweh brought them safely into a harbor.
Unya naglipay (sila) tungod kay ang dagat kalma na, ug gidala niya (sila) sa ilang gitinguha nga dunggoan.
31 They [also] should praise/thank Yahweh for faithfully loving [them], and for [all] the wonderful things that he does for people.
O, nga ang mga tawo magadayeg kang Yahweh alang sa iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan ug alang sa kahibulongan nga mga butang nga iyang nabuhat alang sa katawhan!
32 They should praise him among the [Israeli] people when they have gathered together, and they should praise him in front of the leaders [of the country].
Tugoti nga pasidunggan nila siya diha sa panagtigom sa mga tawo ug dayegon siya ngadto sa konseho sa mga kadagkoan.
33 [Sometimes] Yahweh causes rivers [to become dry], [with the result that the land] becomes a desert, and springs of water become dry land.
Ang kasapaan gihimo niya nga kamingawan, mga tuboran sa tubig ngadto sa mala nga yuta,
34 [Sometimes] he causes land that has produced lots of crops to become salty wastelands, [with the result that they do not produce crops]. He does that because the people who live there are [very] wicked.
ug ang mabungahon nga yuta ngadto sa dili mabungahon nga dapit tungod sa kadaotan sa iyang katawhan.
35 [But sometimes] he causes pools of water to appear in deserts, and he causes springs to flow in very dry ground.
Ang kamingawan gihimo niya nga linaw sa tubig ug ang uga nga yuta ngadto sa tuboran sa tubig.
36 He brings hungry [people] into that land, to live there and build cities [there].
Ang mga gipanggutom gipahilona niya didto, ug nagtukod (sila) ug siyudad nga kapuy-an.
37 They plant seeds in their fields, and they plant grapevines that produce big crops [of grapes].
Nagbuhat (sila) sa siyudad aron umahan, aron katanoman ug parasan, ug maghatag ug madagayaon nga ani.
38 He blesses the people, and the women give birth to many children, and they have large herds of cattle.
Gipanalanginan niya (sila) aron nga (sila) modaghan pa kaayo. Wala niya tugoti nga ang ilang mga baka nga makunhon ang gidaghanon.
39 When the number of people becomes smaller and they have been humiliated [by their enemies] by being oppressed and caused to suffer [DOU],
Nagkakunhod (sila) ug gipaubos pinaagi sa hilabihang kasakit ug pag-antos.
40 Yahweh shows contempt for the leaders who oppress them, and causes them to wander in deserts where there are no roads.
Gibuboan niya ug pagtamay ang mga pangulo ug gitibulaag (sila) ngadto sa kamingawan, diin walay agianan.
41 But he rescues poor [people] from (being in misery/suffering), and causes their families [to increase in number] like flocks of sheep.
Apan iyang gipanalipdan ang nanginahanglan gikan sa kasakit ug nag-amping sa iyang mga banay sama sa panon.
42 Godly/Righteous [people will (see/hear about)] these things, and they will rejoice, and wicked people [will hear about these things, too], [but] they will have nothing to say in reply.
Ang matarong nga mga tawo makakita niini ug maglipay, ug ang tanan nga mga daotan magtak-om sa ilang baba.
43 Those who are wise should think carefully about those things; they should consider [all the things] that Yahweh [has done to show that he] faithfully loves [them].
Si bisan kinsa nga maalamon kinahanglan maghunahuna niining mga butanga ug mamalandong sa buhat ni Yahweh sa matinud-anon nga kasabotan.
