Proverbs 21
1 Yahweh controls what kings do [MTY] [like] he controls how streams flow; he causes kings to do just what he wants them to do.
၁ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏ စိတ် နှလုံးသည် ရေ ချောင်း ကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ လက် တော်၌ ရှိသဖြင့်၊ အလို တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း လှည့် စေတော်မူ၏။
2 People always think that what they do is right, but Yahweh judges our (motives/reasons [for doing things)] [MTY].
၂လူ တို့သည်မိမိ တို့ ကျင့် သမျှ သောအကျင့် တို့ကို နှစ်သက် တတ်၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား မူကား ၊ စိတ် နှလုံးတို့ကို ချိန် တော်မူ၏။
3 Doing what is right and fair is more acceptable to Yahweh than [bringing] sacrifices [to him].
၃ယဇ် ပူဇော်ခြင်းကို နှစ်သက်သည်ထက် ဖြောင့်မတ် စွာပြု ခြင်း၊ တရား သဖြင့် စီရင်ခြင်းကို ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သာ၍နှစ်သက် တော်မူ၏။
4 Being proud and arrogant [DOU] is [like] a lamp [MTY] [that guides] wicked people; being proud and arrogant characterizes (wicked people’s whole behavior/everything that wicked people do).
၄ထောင်လွှား သောမျက်နှာ ၊ မာန ကြီးသောနှလုံး ၊ မ တရားသောသူတို့၏အလင်း သော်လည်း အပြစ် ပါ၏။
5 People who plan carefully will surely have plenty [of what they need]; those who act too quickly [to become rich] will become poor.
၅လုံ့လ ဝိရိယပြုသောသူ၏အကြံ အစည်သည် ကြွယ်ဝ ခြင်းနှင့် ၎င်း၊ သမ္မာ သတိမရှိသောသူ ၏အကြံအစည် သည် ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းနှင့် ၎င်း ဆိုင် ပေ၏။
6 Money that people acquire [by cheating others] by lying [MTY] to them will soon disappear [like] a mist, and doing that will [soon] lead to their death.
၆မုသာ စကား အားဖြင့် ဘဏ္ဍာ ကိုဆည်းဖူးခြင်း အမှု သည် သေမင်း ကျော့ကွင်း တို့တွင် ပျောက်လွင့် သော အနတ္တ ဖြစ်၏။
7 Wicked [people] refuse to do what is right/just, but they will be ruined because of the violent things [PRS] that they do.
၇မ တရားသောသူတို့ သည် တရား သဖြင့်မ စီရင် လိုသောကြောင့်၊ မိမိညှဉ်းဆဲ ခြင်းအပြစ်သည် မိမိ ကို ဖျက်ဆီး လိမ့်မည်။
8 Guilty [people continually do what is evil; it is as though] [MET] they are walking on a crooked road; but righteous/innocent people [always] do what is right.
၈လမ်း လွှဲသွားသောသူ သည် ကွာဝေး ရာသို့ ရောက်တတ်၏။ စင်ကြယ် သော သူပြုသောအမှု မူကား မှန် ပေ၏။
9 It is better to live in the corner of an attic/housetop [by yourself] than to live inside the house with a wife who is always nagging.
၉ရန်တွေ့ တတ်သောမိန်းမ နှင့်အတူလူ များသော အိမ် ၌နေ သည်ထက် ၊ အိမ်မိုး ပေါ် ထောင့် ထဲမှာ နေသော် သာ၍ကောင်း ၏။
10 Wicked [people] [SYN] are always wanting [to do what is] evil; they never act mercifully toward anyone.
၁၀မ တရားသောသူ သည် မနာလို သောစိတ်ရှိ၏။ အိမ်နီးချင်း ၌ ကျေးဇူး ပြုချင်သော အလို မ ရှိ။
11 When those who ridicule [others] are punished, [even] those who do not have good sense [see that, and] they become wise, and when those who are wise are taught, they become wiser.
၁၁မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူသည် အပြစ်ဒဏ် ကို ခံရသောအခါ ၊ ဉာဏ်တိမ် သောသူသည်သတိ ရတတ်၏။ သတိ ရသောသူသည်လည်း သွန်သင် ခြင်းကိုခံသောအခါ ၊ ပညာ တိုးပွါး တတ်၏။
12 [God], the one [who is completely] righteous, knows [what happens inside] the houses of wicked [people], and [he will cause] those people to be completely ruined/destroyed.
၁၂တရား သောသူသည် မ တရားသောသူ၏အိမ် ကို ပညာစိတ်နှင့် ဆင်ခြင်တတ်၏။ မ တရားသောသူတို့ မူကား၊ မိမိတို့ပြုသောဒုစရိုက် အားဖြင့်ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ်ကြ၏။
13 There are people who refuse to listen when poor people cry out [for help]; [but some day] they themselves will cry out [for help], and no one will hear them.
၁၃ဆင်းရဲ သောသူ၏အော်ဟစ် သံကို မကြားလို၍၊ နား ကိုပိတ် သောသူသည် ကိုယ်တိုင် အော်ဟစ် ၍ ၊ အဘယ် သူမျှမ ကြားရ။
14 When someone is angry [with you], if you secretly give him a gift, he will stop being angry.
၁၄တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာ ပေးသောလက်ဆောင် သည် သူ့စိတ် ကို၎င်း ၊ ရင်ခွင် ၌ ချထားသော လက်ဆောင် ပဏ္ဏာ သည် ပြင်းစွာ သော အမျက် ကို၎င်းဖြေ တတ်၏။
15 Good/Righteous [people] are happy when they [see others do] what is just/fair, but those who do what is evil are terrified [when they think about what may happen to them].
၁၅ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူသည် တရား သဖြင့်စီရင် ၍ ဝမ်းမြောက် တတ်၏။ အဓမ္မ အမှုကိုပြု သောသူမူကား ၊ ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။
16 Those who stop behaving like those who have good sense behave will [soon] discover that they have gone to the place where dead people are.
၁၆ဉာဏ် ပညာလမ်း မှ လွှဲသွား သောသူ သည် သင်္ချိုင်း သား အစုအဝေး ၌ နေရာ ကျလိမ့်မည်။
17 Those who spend their money to buy (things that give them pleasure/things that cause them to feel happy) will become poor; those who love [to spend money to buy] wine and nice/fancy food [MTY] will never become rich.
၁၇ကာမ ဂုဏ်၌ မွေ့လျော်သောသူသည် ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။ စပျစ်ရည် နှင့် ဆီ ကို ကြိုက် သောသူသည် လည်း ငွေ ကိုမ ရတတ်ရ။
18 Wicked [people] bring on themselves the sufferings that they were trying to cause righteous [people] to experience [DOU].
၁၈မ တရားသောသူသည် တရား သောသူအဘို့ ၊ လွန်ကျူး သောသူသည် ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူအဘို့ ရွေး ရန် ဖြစ်၏။
19 It is better to live [alone] in a desert than [to live] with a wife who is [always] nagging and complaining.
၁၉စိတ်တို ၍ ရန်တွေ့ တတ်သောမိန်းမ နှင့် နေ သည်ထက် ၊ တော လွင်ပြင် ၌ နေသော်သာ၍ကောင်း ၏။
20 Wise people have many valuable things in their houses, but foolish people [quickly] spend/waste [all their money].
၂၀ပညာရှိ သောသူ၏အိမ် ၌ နှစ်သက်ဘွယ် သော ဘဏ္ဍာ နှင့် ဆီ ရှိတတ်၏။ မိုက် သောသူ မူကား ၊ ကုန် စေ တတ်၏။
21 Those who [always] try to act in a fair and kind way [toward others] will live [a long time] and be honored/respected.
၂၁ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းတရားနှင့် ကရုဏာ တရားကို ရှာ သောသူသည် အသက်ရှင် ခြင်း၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်း၊ ဂုဏ် အသရေထင်ရှားခြင်းကို တွေ့ တတ်၏။
22 A wise army commander [helps his troops] climb over a wall [to attack] a city that is defended by a strong army, with the result that they are able to (get over/destroy) the high walls that their enemies trusted [would protect them].
၂၂ပညာ ရှိသောသူသည် ခိုင်ခံ့ သောမြို့ရိုး ကို တက် ၍ ၊ မြို့ သားကိုးစား စရာခွန်အား ကို ရှုတ်ချ တတ်၏။
23 Those who are very careful about what they say [MTY] are [able to] avoid trouble.
၂၃မိမိ နှုတ် နှင့် လျှာ ကိုစောင့် သောသူသည် မိမိ စိတ် ဝိညာဉ်ကို ဒုက္ခ နှင့် လွတ်စေခြင်းငှါ စောင့် ရာရောက် ၏။
24 Those who make fun of [everything that is good] are proud and conceited [DOU]; they [always] act in an inconsiderate way [toward others].
၂၄ပြင်းစွာ သော ဒေါသ အမျက်၌ ကျင်လည် သောသူကို၊ ထောင်လွှား စော်ကားသောသူ၊ မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူဟူ၍ သမုတ်အပ်၏။
25 Lazy people, who refuse to work, [will] die [of hunger] because they [SYN] do not earn [money to buy food].
၂၅ပျင်းရိ သောသူသည် အလုပ် မလုပ်ချင်သောကြောင့် ၊ မိမိ တပ်မက် သောအားဖြင့် သေ တတ်၏။
26 All during the day [wicked people] desire to obtain things, but righteous [people] have plenty, [with the result that] they [are able to] give things generously to others.
၂၆တနေ့လုံး တပ်မက် အားကြီးတတ်၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သော သူမူကား မ နှမြော ဘဲစွန့်ကြဲ တတ်၏။
27 [Yahweh] detests the sacrifices that wicked [people] offer [to him]; [but he] detests it even more when they [think that they will escape being punished for] their evil deeds because of the sacrifices that they bring.
၂၇မ တရားသော သူပူဇော်သော ယဇ် သည် စက်ဆုပ် ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ်ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုမျှမက ၊ မ တရားသောစိတ် နှင့် ပူဇော် လျှင် သာ၍ဖြစ်၏။
28 Those who tell lies in court will be punished; no one stops/silences witnesses who say what is truthful/reliable.
၂၈မ မှန်သော သက်သေ သည် ပျက် တတ်၏။ ကိုယ်တိုင်ကြား သောသူ မူကား ၊ တည်ကြည် စွာ ပြော တတ်၏။
29 Wicked people pretend [that they know everything], but righteous people think carefully about [what will happen because of] what they do.
၂၉မ တရားသောသူ သည် မိမိ မျက်နှာ ကို ခိုင်မာ စေတတ်၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူမူကား ၊ မိမိ သွားရာလမ်း ကို ပြင်ဆင် တတ်၏။
30 [Thinking that we are] wise, and that we understand many things, and that we have good insight, does not help us if Yahweh is (acting against/not pleased with) us.
၃၀ထာဝရဘုရား တဘက် ၌ ဉာဏ် မ တည်၊ ပညာ မ တည်၊ အကြံ တစုံတခုမျှ မ တည်နိုင်။
31 We [can] get horses ready to fight in a battle, but Yahweh is the one who enables us to (win victories/defeat our enemies).
၃၁စစ်တိုက် ရာကာလ အဘို့ မြင်း များကို ပြင်ဆင် သော်လည်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ကျေးဇူးတော်ကြောင့် ချမ်းသာ ရပါ၏။
