Numbers 36
1 The family leaders of the clan of Gilead of the tribe of Manasseh went to Moses/me and the other family leaders of the Israeli people.
E chegaram os cabeças dos paes da geração dos filhos de Gilead, filho de Machir, filho de Manasseh, das familias dos filhos de José, e fallaram diante de Moysés, e diante dos maioraes, cabeças dos paes dos filhos d'Israel,
2 They said to Moses/me, “Yahweh commanded you, our leader, to apportion the land to the Israeli tribes by throwing (lots/stones that have been marked) to decide [which group would get which area]. Yahweh also commanded you to give the land that belonged to our fellow Israeli Zelophehad to his daughters.
E disseram: O Senhor mandou dar esta terra a meu senhor por sorte, por herança aos filhos d'Israel: e a meu senhor foi ordenado pelo Senhor, que a herança do nosso irmão Selofad se désse a suas filhas.
3 But if his daughters marry men from the other Israeli tribes, that land will no longer belong to our tribe. People of other tribes will get it. So some of our land will no longer belong to us.
E, casando-se ellas com algum dos filhos das outras tribus dos filhos d'Israel, então a sua herança seria diminuida da herança de nossos paes, e accrescentada á herança da tribu de quem forem: assim se tiraria da sorte da nossa herança.
4 When the Year of Celebration comes, [when all the land that has been bought by someone is returned to its original owners], the land that belonged to Zelophehad will belong to the tribes of the men that his daughters marry. So some of our land, the land that we received from our fathers, will be taken from us, [and we will never own it again].”
Vindo tambem o anno do jubileo dos filhos d'Israel, a sua herança se accrescentaria á herança da tribu d'aquelles com que se casarem: assim a sua herança será tirada da herança da tribu de nossos paes.
5 Yahweh told Moses/me what to reply to them, so Moses/I said this to them: “These men from the tribe of Manasseh are right.
Então Moysés deu ordem aos filhos d'Israel, segundo o mandado do Senhor, dizendo: A tribu dos filhos de José falla bem.
6 This is what Yahweh is saying to the daughters of Zelophehad: ‘Each of you may marry anyone you want to, but you must marry only someone from your own tribe.’
Esta é a palavra que o Senhor mandou ácerca das filhas de Selofad, dizendo: Sejam por mulheres a quem bem parecer aos seus olhos, comtanto que se casem na familia da tribu de seu pae.
7 In that way, the land that belongs to Israelis will not be passed from one tribe to another tribe. Each Israeli will keep the land in the tribe that belonged to his ancestors.
Assim a herança dos filhos d'Israel não passará de tribu em tribu: pois os filhos d'Israel se chegarão cada um á herança da tribu de seus paes.
8 A woman who inherits her father’s land may get married, but she must marry someone from her own tribe. In that way, every Israeli will keep the land that belonged to his ancestors.
E qualquer filha que herdar alguma herança das tribus dos filhos d'Israel se casará com alguem da geração da tribu de seu pae: para que os filhos de Israel possuam cada, um a herança di seus paes
9 The land must not be passed from one tribe to another tribe. Each Israeli tribe must keep the land that it received from its ancestors.”
Assim a herança não passará d'uma tribu a outra: pois as tribus dos filhos d'Israel se chegarão cada uma á sua herança.
10 Zelophehad’s daughters obeyed what Yahweh told Moses/me.
Como o Senhor ordenara a Moysés, assim fizeram as filhas de Selofad.
11 The five daughters—Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah and Noah—married their cousins, their father’s relatives.
Pois Machla, Thirsa, e Hogla, e Milca, e Noha, filhas de Selofad, se casaram com os filhos de seus tios.
12 The men whom they married were from the tribe of Manasseh, so their land continued to belong to their father’s family and tribe.
Das familias dos de Manasseh, filho de José, ellas foram mulheres: assim a sua herança ficou á tribu da familia de seu pae.
13 Those were the commands [DOU] that Yahweh gave to Moses/me to tell to the Israelis, while they/we were on the plains of the Moab region, close to the Jordan River, across from Jericho.
Estes são os mandamentos e os juizos que mandou o Senhor pela mão de Moysés aos filhos de Israel nas campinas dos moabitas, junto ao Jordão de Jericó.
