Numbers 34
1 Yahweh said to Moses/me,
Olúwa sọ fún Mose pé,
2 “Tell this to the Israeli people: You will soon enter Canaan land, and it will become yours. These will be the borders of the land:
“Pàṣẹ fún àwọn ọmọ Israẹli, kí o sì sọ fún wọn pé, ‘Tí ẹ bá wọ Kenaani, ilẹ̀ tí a ó fi fún yín, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ogún yín yóò ní ààlà wọn yí:
3 On the south you will receive part of the Zin Desert, near the border of the Edom [region]. On the east side, the border will start at the south end of the Dead Sea.
“‘Ìhà gúúsù yín yóò bọ́ sí ara aginjù Sini lẹ́bàá Edomu, àti ìlà-oòrùn, ààlà ìhà gúúsù yóò bẹ̀rẹ̀ láti òpin Òkun Iyọ̀,
4 It will extend to a little south of the Scorpion Pass, and extend [west] through [the] Zin [Desert] and south of Kadesh-Barnea. From there it will extend to Hazar Addar and from there to Azmon.
kọjá lọ sí gúúsù Akrabbimu, tẹ̀síwájú lọ si Sini, kó bọ́ si gúúsù Kadeṣi-Barnea, kí o sì dé Hasari-Addari, kí o sì kọjá sí Asmoni.
5 From Azmon it will extend [west] to the dry riverbed [at the border] of Egypt and then to the [Mediterranean] Sea.
Kí òpin ilẹ̀ rẹ̀ kí ó sì yíká láti Asmoni lọ dé odò Ejibiti, Òkun Ńlá ni yóò sì jẹ òpin rẹ.
6 The border on the west will be the Mediterranean Sea.
Ìhà ìwọ̀-oòrùn yín yóò jẹ́ òpin lórí Òkun Ńlá. Èyí yóò jẹ́ ààlà yín lórí ìhà ìwọ̀-oòrùn.
7 The border on the north will start from the Mediterranean Sea and extend [east] to Hor Mountain.
Fún ààlà ìhà àríwá, fa ìlà láti Òkun Ńlá lọ sí orí òkè Hori,
8 From there it will extend to Lebo-Hamath and then to Zedad.
àti láti orí òkè Hori sí Lebo-Hamati. Nígbà náà ààlà náà yóò lọ sí Sedadi,
9 From there the border will extend to Ziphron, and it will end at Hazar-Enan.
tẹ̀síwájú lọ sí Sifroni, kí o sì fò pín si ní Hasari-Enani, èyí yóò jẹ́ ààlà tìrẹ ní ìhà àríwá.
10 The border on the east will start at Hazar-Enan and extend [south] to Shepham.
Kí ẹ sì sàmì sí ilẹ̀ tiyín ní ìhà ìlà-oòrùn láti Hasari-Enani lọ dé Ṣefamu.
11 From there it will extend east of Ain to Riblah and then along the hills that are east of Galilee Lake.
Ààlà náà yóò ti Ṣefamu sọ̀kalẹ̀ wá lọ sí Ribla ní ìhà ìlà-oòrùn Aini, kí o sì sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ dé ìhà Òkun Kinnereti ní ìhà ìlà-oòrùn.
12 Then the border will extend south along the Jordan [River] and end at the Dead Sea. Those will be the borders around your country.”
Nígbà náà, ààlà náà yóò sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sí apá Jordani, yóò sì dópin nínú Òkun Iyọ̀. “‘Èyí yóò jẹ́ ilẹ̀ yín, pẹ̀lú ààlà tirẹ̀ ní gbogbo ọ̀nà.’”
13 So Moses/I [told all that] to the Israeli people. Then he/I said to them, “That is the land that you will receive. You must throw (lots/stones that have been marked) to decide which area will go to each of the nine and a half tribes, because Yahweh has commanded that it should be divided among them.
Mose pa á láṣẹ fún àwọn ọmọ Israẹli pé, “Yan ilẹ̀ yìí pẹ̀lú kèké gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìní ogún: Olúwa ti pàṣẹ láti fi fún ẹ̀yà mẹ́sàn-án, àti ààbọ̀.
14 The tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of the tribe of Manasseh have already received the land in which they will live.
Nítorí ará ilẹ̀ ẹ̀yà ti Reubeni, ẹ̀yà Gadi àti ẹ̀yà ààbọ̀ ti Manase ti gba ogún tiwọn.
15 They have received land on the east side of the Jordan [River], across from Jericho.”
Ẹ̀yà méjèèjì àti ààbọ̀ yìí ti gba ogún tiwọn ní ìhà ìhín Jordani létí i Jeriko, ní ìhà ìlà-oòrùn, ní ìdojúkọ Jordani.”
16 Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,
Olúwa sọ fún Mose pé,
17 “These are the men who will divide the land: First, Eleazar and Joshua.
“Èyí ni orúkọ àwọn ọkùnrin náà tí yóò pín ilẹ̀, náà fún yín gẹ́gẹ́ bí ogún: Eleasari àlùfáà àti Joṣua ọmọ Nuni.
18 But one leader [from each of the twelve tribes will help them divide the land].
Kí o sì yan olórí kan nínú ẹ̀yà kọ̀ọ̀kan láti pín ilẹ̀ náà.
19 “From the tribe of Judah, appoint Jephunneh’s son Caleb. From the tribe of Simeon appoint Ammihud’s son Shemuel. From the tribe of Benjamin appoint Kislon’s son Elidad. From the tribe of Dan appoint Jogli’s son Bukki. From the tribe of Manasseh appoint Ephod’s son Hanniel. From the tribe of Ephraim appoint Shiphtan’s son Kemuel. From the tribe of Zebulun appoint Parnach’s son Elizaphan. From the tribe of Issachar appoint Azzan’s son Paltiel. From the tribe of Asher appoint Shelomi’s son Ahihud. From the tribe of Naphtali appoint Ammihud’s son Pedahel.”
“Èyí ni orúkọ wọn: “Kalebu ọmọ Jefunne, láti ẹ̀yà Juda;
Ṣemueli ọmọ Ammihudu, láti ẹ̀yà Simeoni;
Elidadi ọmọ Kisloni, láti ẹ̀yà Benjamini;
Bukki ọmọ Jogli, láti ẹ̀yà olórí àwọn ọmọ Dani;
Hannieli ọmọ Efodu, láti ẹ̀yà Manase, olórí àwọn ọmọ Josẹfu,
Kemueli ọmọ Ṣiftani, olórí ẹ̀yà àwọn ọmọ, Efraimu, ọmọ Josẹfu;
Elisafani ọmọ Parnaki, olórí ẹ̀yà àwọn ọmọ Sebuluni;
Paltieli ọmọ Assani, olórí ẹ̀yà àwọn ọmọ Isakari;
Ahihudu ọmọ Ṣelomi, olórí ẹ̀yà àwọn ọmọ Aṣeri;
Pedaheli ọmọ Ammihudu, olórí ẹ̀yà àwọn ọmọ Naftali.”
29 Yahweh commanded that all those were the men who should divide the Canaan region among the Israeli people.
Èyí ni àwọn ẹni tí Olúwa yàn láti pín ogún náà fún àwọn ọmọ Israẹli ní ilẹ̀ Kenaani.
