< Numbers 34 >

1 Yahweh said to Moses/me,
Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
2 “Tell this to the Israeli people: You will soon enter Canaan land, and it will become yours. These will be the borders of the land:
Mandidia ny Zanak’ Isiraely hoe: Raha tonga any amin’ ny tany Kanana ianareo, dia izao no tany izay ho azonareo ho lova, dia ny tany Kanana araka izay fari-taniny.
3 On the south you will receive part of the Zin Desert, near the border of the Edom [region]. On the east side, the border will start at the south end of the Dead Sea.
Ary ny lafiny atsimo amin’ ny taninareo dia hatramin’ ny efitra Zina, izay mifanolotra amin’ i Edoma. Ary ny fari-taninareo atsimo dia hatramin’ ny faran’ ny Ranomasin-tsira any atsinanana,
4 It will extend to a little south of the Scorpion Pass, and extend [west] through [the] Zin [Desert] and south of Kadesh-Barnea. From there it will extend to Hazar Addar and from there to Azmon.
dia miolaka eo atsimon’ ny fiakarana Akrabima, dia mandroso hatrany Zina, dia mahazo any atsimon’ i Kadesibarnea, dia mahazo an’ i Hazar-adara ka mandroso hatrany Azmona,
5 From Azmon it will extend [west] to the dry riverbed [at the border] of Egypt and then to the [Mediterranean] Sea.
ary miolaka hatrany Azmona ka hatramin’ ny lohasahan-driak’ i Egypta, ka dia mihatra amin’ ny ranomasina.
6 The border on the west will be the Mediterranean Sea.
Ary ny amin’ ny fari-tany andrefana, dia indro ny Ranomasina Lehibe sy ny amorony, ka hatreo no ho fari-taninareo andrefana.
7 The border on the north will start from the Mediterranean Sea and extend [east] to Hor Mountain.
Ary izao no ho fari-taninareo avaratra: hatramin’ ny Ranomasina Lehibe dia aoka ny tendrombohitra Hora no hotandrifinareo;
8 From there it will extend to Lebo-Hamath and then to Zedad.
ary hatramin’ ny tendrombohitra Hora dia aoka ny lalana mankany Hamata no hotandrifinareo, ary aoka ny fari-tany hahazo an’ i Zedada,
9 From there the border will extend to Ziphron, and it will end at Hazar-Enan.
dia hahazo an’ i Zifrona, ka dia hihatra an’ i Hazar-enana; izany no ho faritaninareo avaratra.
10 The border on the east will start at Hazar-Enan and extend [south] to Shepham.
Ary ny ho fari-taninareo atsinanana dia ampifanitsio amin’ i Hazar-enana ka hatrany Sefama,
11 From there it will extend east of Ain to Riblah and then along the hills that are east of Galilee Lake.
dia hidina hatrany Sefama ka hatrany Ribla any atsinanan’ i Aina, dia mbola hidina ihany koa ka hipaka amin’ ny Ranomasin’ i Kinereta atsinanana,
12 Then the border will extend south along the Jordan [River] and end at the Dead Sea. Those will be the borders around your country.”
dia hidina ihany indray hatrany Jordana, ka dia hihatra amin’ ny Ranomasin-tsira. Izany no ho taninareo araka ny fari-taniny manodidina.
13 So Moses/I [told all that] to the Israeli people. Then he/I said to them, “That is the land that you will receive. You must throw (lots/stones that have been marked) to decide which area will go to each of the nine and a half tribes, because Yahweh has commanded that it should be divided among them.
Ary Mosesy nandidy ny Zanak’ Isiraely ka nanao hoe: Izany no tany izay hozarainareo araka ny filokana, dia izay andidian’ i Jehovah homena ny firenena sivy sy sasany;
14 The tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of the tribe of Manasseh have already received the land in which they will live.
fa ny firenena taranak’ i Robena araka ny fianakaviany sy ny firenena taranak’ i Gada araka ny fianakaviany dia efa nandray ny zara-taniny, ary ny antsasaky ny firenen’ i Manase koa dia efa nandray ny zara-taniny;
15 They have received land on the east side of the Jordan [River], across from Jericho.”
dia ny firenena roa sy sasany samy efa nandray ny zara-taniny atỳ an-dafy atsinanan’ i Jordana, hitsin’ i Jeriko, tandrifin’ ny fiposahan’ ny masoandro.
16 Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,
Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
17 “These are the men who will divide the land: First, Eleazar and Joshua.
Izao no anaran’ ny lehilahy izay hizara ny tany ho anareo: Eleazara mpisorona sy Josoa, zanak’ i Nona.
18 But one leader [from each of the twelve tribes will help them divide the land].
Ary loholona iray avy amin’ ny isam-pirenena koa no halainareo hizara ny tany.
19 “From the tribe of Judah, appoint Jephunneh’s son Caleb. From the tribe of Simeon appoint Ammihud’s son Shemuel. From the tribe of Benjamin appoint Kislon’s son Elidad. From the tribe of Dan appoint Jogli’s son Bukki. From the tribe of Manasseh appoint Ephod’s son Hanniel. From the tribe of Ephraim appoint Shiphtan’s son Kemuel. From the tribe of Zebulun appoint Parnach’s son Elizaphan. From the tribe of Issachar appoint Azzan’s son Paltiel. From the tribe of Asher appoint Shelomi’s son Ahihud. From the tribe of Naphtali appoint Ammihud’s son Pedahel.”
Ary izao no anaran’ ireo lehilahy ireo: ny avy amin’ ny firenen’ i Joda dia Kaleba, zanak’ i Jefone;
ary ny avy amin’ ny firenena taranak’ i Simeona dia Semoela, zanak’ i Amihoda;
ary ny avy amin’ ny firenen’ i Benjamina dia Elidada, zanak’ i Kislona;
ary ny lohan’ ny firenena taranak’ i Dana dia Boky, zanak’ i Jogly;
ary ny avy amin’ ny taranak’ i Josefa: ny lohan’ ny firenena taranak’ i Manase dia Haniela, zanak’ i Efoda;
ary ny lohan’ ny firenena taranak’ i Efraima dia Kemoela, zanak’ i Siftana;
ary ny lohan’ ny firenena taranak’ i Zebolona dia Elizafana, zanak’ i Parnaka;
ary ny lohan’ ny firenena taranak’ Isakara dia Paltiela, zanak’ i Azana;
ary ny lohan’ ny firenena taranak’ i Asera dia Ahihoda, zanak’ i Selomy;
ary ny lohan’ ny firenena taranak’ i Naftaly dia Pedahela, zanak’ i Amihoda.
29 Yahweh commanded that all those were the men who should divide the Canaan region among the Israeli people.
Ireo no nodidian’ i Jehovah hizara ny tany Kanana ho an’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely.
