Numbers 34
1 Yahweh said to Moses/me,
És szólt az Örökkévaló Mózeshez, mondván:
2 “Tell this to the Israeli people: You will soon enter Canaan land, and it will become yours. These will be the borders of the land:
Parancsold meg Izrael fiainak és mondd nekik: Midőn bementek Kánaán országába, ez az ország, amely jut nektek birtokul, Kánaán országa határai szerint.
3 On the south you will receive part of the Zin Desert, near the border of the Edom [region]. On the east side, the border will start at the south end of the Dead Sea.
És legyen nektek a déli határszél: Cin pusztájától Edóm mellett, és legyen nektek a déli határ a Sóstenger szélétől kelet felé.
4 It will extend to a little south of the Scorpion Pass, and extend [west] through [the] Zin [Desert] and south of Kadesh-Barnea. From there it will extend to Hazar Addar and from there to Azmon.
Azután átkerül a határ Ákrábbim hágójától délre, átvonul Cinig és végei lesznek Kádes-Bárneától délre, továbbmegy Cháccár-Ádárig és átvonul Ácmónig.
5 From Azmon it will extend [west] to the dry riverbed [at the border] of Egypt and then to the [Mediterranean] Sea.
Azután átkerül a határ Ácmóntól Egyiptom patakjáig és végei lesznek a tengernél.
6 The border on the west will be the Mediterranean Sea.
A nyugati határ pedig legyen nektek a nagy tenger a határ; ez legyen nektek a nyugati határ.
7 The border on the north will start from the Mediterranean Sea and extend [east] to Hor Mountain.
Ez pedig legyen nektek az északi határ: a nagy tengertől húzzatok vonalat magatoknak a Hór hegyéig.
8 From there it will extend to Lebo-Hamath and then to Zedad.
A Hór hegyétől húzzatok vonalat Chámosz mentén, és lesznek a határ végei Cedodnál.
9 From there the border will extend to Ziphron, and it will end at Hazar-Enan.
Azután továbbmegy a határ Zifrónig és vége van Chácár-Énonnál; ez legyen nektek az északi határ.
10 The border on the east will start at Hazar-Enan and extend [south] to Shepham.
És húzzatok magatoknak vonalat keleti határ gyanánt, Chácár-Énontól Sefomig.
11 From there it will extend east of Ain to Riblah and then along the hills that are east of Galilee Lake.
Azután lemegy a határ Sefomból Rivloig, Ájintól keletre, lemegy a határ és érinti a Kinneresz tó partját kelet felől.
12 Then the border will extend south along the Jordan [River] and end at the Dead Sea. Those will be the borders around your country.”
Azután lemegy a határ a Jordánig és végei lesznek a Sóstengernél; ez legyen számotokra az ország, határai szerint köröskörül.
13 So Moses/I [told all that] to the Israeli people. Then he/I said to them, “That is the land that you will receive. You must throw (lots/stones that have been marked) to decide which area will go to each of the nine and a half tribes, because Yahweh has commanded that it should be divided among them.
És megparancsolta Mózes Izrael fiainak, mondván: Ez az ország, melyet birtokba vegyetek a sors útján, amelyről megparancsolta az Örökkévaló, hogy adjátok a kilenc törzsnek, meg a fél törzsnek.
14 The tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of the tribe of Manasseh have already received the land in which they will live.
Mert elvették a Rúbéni fiainak törzse, atyáik háza szerint, meg Gádi fiainak törzse, atyáik háza szerint és a Menássének fél törzse elvették birtokukat;
15 They have received land on the east side of the Jordan [River], across from Jericho.”
a két törzs és a fél törzs elvették birtokukat a Jordánon innen, Jerichóval szemben napkelet felé.
16 Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,
És szólt az Örökkévaló Mózeshez, mondván:
17 “These are the men who will divide the land: First, Eleazar and Joshua.
Ezek ama férfiak nevei, akik birtokba adják nektek az országot; Eleázár, a pap, Józsua, Nún fia;
18 But one leader [from each of the twelve tribes will help them divide the land].
meg egy-egy fejedelmet vegyetek törzsenként, hogy birtokba adják az országot.
19 “From the tribe of Judah, appoint Jephunneh’s son Caleb. From the tribe of Simeon appoint Ammihud’s son Shemuel. From the tribe of Benjamin appoint Kislon’s son Elidad. From the tribe of Dan appoint Jogli’s son Bukki. From the tribe of Manasseh appoint Ephod’s son Hanniel. From the tribe of Ephraim appoint Shiphtan’s son Kemuel. From the tribe of Zebulun appoint Parnach’s son Elizaphan. From the tribe of Issachar appoint Azzan’s son Paltiel. From the tribe of Asher appoint Shelomi’s son Ahihud. From the tribe of Naphtali appoint Ammihud’s son Pedahel.”
Ezek pedig a férfiak nevei: Júda törzséből Káleb, Jefune fia;
Simon fiainak törzséből Sámuel, Ámmihúd fia;
Benjámin törzséből: Elidod, Kiszlón fia;
Dán fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Bukki, Jogli fia;
József fiai közül, Menásse fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Chánniél, Éfód fia;
Efráim fiainak törzséből pedig a fejedelem Kemúél, Sifton fia;
Zebúlun fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Elicofon, Párnoch fia;
Isszászár fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Páltiél, Ázzon fia:
Ásér fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Áchidúd, Selómi fia;
Náftáli fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Pedáhél, Ámmihúd fia.
29 Yahweh commanded that all those were the men who should divide the Canaan region among the Israeli people.
Ezek azok, akiknek megparancsolta az Örökkévaló, hogy birtokot adjanak Izrael fiainak Kánaán országában.
