1 Yahweh said to Moses/me,
Pakaiyin Mose heng’a thu aseiyin.
2 “Tell this to the Israeli people: You will soon enter Canaan land, and it will become yours. These will be the borders of the land:
Israel chate henga thupeh neijin lang aheng uva hiti hin seijin, nangho Canaan gam sung nalut diu, Canaan gam sung pumpi nang ho chan ding ahi tai.
3 On the south you will receive part of the Zin Desert, near the border of the Edom [region]. On the east side, the border will start at the south end of the Dead Sea.
Lhanglam na gamgi diu kipatna hi Zin gammang akon hung kipan ahin, hichun Edom gamgi ahin jui peh ahin, lhanglam a na gamgi diu chu twikhanglen ki-ngahna apat hung kite pan ding ahi.
4 It will extend to a little south of the Scorpion Pass, and extend [west] through [the] Zin [Desert] and south of Kadesh-Barnea. From there it will extend to Hazar Addar and from there to Azmon.

5 From Azmon it will extend [west] to the dry riverbed [at the border] of Egypt and then to the [Mediterranean] Sea.
Hiche gamgi hi Azmon apat Egypt vadung channa a jui peh ding, achaina hi tuikhanglen muna kilhung lut ding ahi.
6 The border on the west will be the Mediterranean Sea.
Chule lhumlam na gamgi u-hi tuikhanglen lenpen hi a jui jing ding, twikhanglen pang hi a jui peh ding, hiche hi lhumlam gamgi’a nanei jing diu ahi tai.
7 The border on the north will start from the Mediterranean Sea and extend [east] to Hor Mountain.
Sahlam gamkaija gamgi vang chu hitia hi umding ahi, Twikhanglen apat gamgi ahin juipeh ding hichu Hor molsang channa natetoh diu ahi.
8 From there it will extend to Lebo-Hamath and then to Zedad.
Hor molsanga pat gamgi bannei cha nahin juipeh diu Hamath channa na juilut peh diu, Zedad mun geiya gamgi nate lhung diu ahi.
9 From there the border will extend to Ziphron, and it will end at Hazar-Enan.
Ajeh chu Ziphron geiya gamgi kikeh len ahin, Hazarenan muna kichai ding, hichan geichu sahlam muna nangho gamgi’a umjing ding ahiye.
10 The border on the east will start at Hazar-Enan and extend [south] to Shepham.
Solam gamgi vang chu Hazarenan apat Shepham mun channa nate lhung diu ahi.
11 From there it will extend east of Ain to Riblah and then along the hills that are east of Galilee Lake.
Chule hiche gamgi chu Shepham apat na Ain solam gamkaiya um Riblah changei ja kilhung lut ding, chu teng agamgi chu solam Chinnereth Twikhanglen pang geiya gamgi ki lhung ding ahi.
12 Then the border will extend south along the Jordan [River] and end at the Dead Sea. Those will be the borders around your country.”
Chuban leh gamgi chu Jordan vadung apat ki lhungsuh peh ding Twikhanglen changeiya kilhung lha ding ahi. Gamgi tampi kilhunga avel kimsoh ding, hiche gamsunga chu nnagho nachen diu ahi, tin aheng uvah seipeh tauvin, ati.
13 So Moses/I [told all that] to the Israeli people. Then he/I said to them, “That is the land that you will receive. You must throw (lots/stones that have been marked) to decide which area will go to each of the nine and a half tribes, because Yahweh has commanded that it should be divided among them.

14 The tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of the tribe of Manasseh have already received the land in which they will live.
Ajeh chu apa jang-lhah akonna Reuben chate ahin chule apa jang-lhah dungjuiya Gad chate ahiuvin, hichu Manasseh phunga konna akeh khat jeng in jong a kimu soh keija ahitai.
15 They have received land on the east side of the Jordan [River], across from Jericho.”
Hijeh chun phungni leh phung akehkhat jao nan niso lam akon Jordan gal lam hichu Jericho khopia chu achandiu gou aga kimu doh tauvin ahi.
16 Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,
Pakaiyin Mose henga hiti hin aseiyin ahi.
17 “These are the men who will divide the land: First, Eleazar and Joshua.
Nachan diu gam homtoh le’a pang ding ho chu amin u hicheng hi ahiye: Eleazer thempu, Nun chapa Joshua jaona hi ding ahi.
18 But one leader [from each of the twelve tribes will help them divide the land].
Na phung sung cheh uva konna lamkai khat cheh gam homtoh a pang ding’a na lhen dohsoh kei diu ahi.
19 “From the tribe of Judah, appoint Jephunneh’s son Caleb. From the tribe of Simeon appoint Ammihud’s son Shemuel. From the tribe of Benjamin appoint Kislon’s son Elidad. From the tribe of Dan appoint Jogli’s son Bukki. From the tribe of Manasseh appoint Ephod’s son Hanniel. From the tribe of Ephraim appoint Shiphtan’s son Kemuel. From the tribe of Zebulun appoint Parnach’s son Elizaphan. From the tribe of Issachar appoint Azzan’s son Paltiel. From the tribe of Asher appoint Shelomi’s son Ahihud. From the tribe of Naphtali appoint Ammihud’s son Pedahel.”

Dan phung sunga konna lamkaiya ana pang Jogli chapa Bukki hi ding ahi.
Joseph chate Manasseh chate lamkai ja pang ding chu Ephod chapa Hanniel hi ding ahi.
Ephraim chate lah a lamkaija pang ding chu Shiphtan chapa Kemuel hi ding ahi.
Zebulun chate lah a lamkaiya pang ding chu Parnach chapa Elizaphan hi ding ahi.
Issachar chate phung sunga konna lamkaiya pang ding chu Azzan chapa Paltiel hi ding ahi.
Asher chate lah a lamkaiya pang ding chu Shelomi chapa Ahihud hi ding ahi.
Naphtali chate lah alamkaiya pang ding chu Ammihud chapa Pedahel hi ding ahi.
29 Yahweh commanded that all those were the men who should divide the Canaan region among the Israeli people.
