Numbers 30

1 Moses/I spoke with the leaders of the Israeli tribes. He/I told them these commands that Yahweh had given to him/me:

മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രപ്രധാനികളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കാര്യം എന്തെന്നാൽ:

2 “If a man solemnly promises Yahweh that he will do something, he must do what he promised.

ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു നേർച്ച നേരുകയോ ഒരു പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതം ദീക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ശപഥം ചെയ്കയോ ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ വാക്കിന്നു ഭംഗംവരുത്താതെ തന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും നിവർത്തിക്കേണം.

3 “If a young woman who is still living with her parents solemnly promises to Yahweh to do something,

ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ബാല്യപ്രായത്തിൽ അപ്പന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു നേർച്ചനേർന്നു ഒരു പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതം നിശ്ചയിക്കയും

4 and if her father hears about what she promised, and if he does not object, she must do what she promised [DOU].

അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചയെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടിട്ടു മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേർച്ചകളും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതമൊക്കെയും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

5 But if her father hears about what she promised and does not allow her to do that, then she does not need to do what she promised. Yahweh will forgive her for not doing what she promised.

എന്നാൽ അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേർച്ചയെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ അവളോടു വിലക്കിയാൽ അവ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കയില്ല; അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളോടു വിലക്കുകകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ അവളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

6 “If a woman promises Yahweh that she will do something, but then she gets married,

അവൾക്കു ഒരു നേർച്ചയോ വിചാരിക്കാതെ നിശ്ചയിച്ചുപോയ പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതമോ ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ

7 if her husband hears about what she promised to do, and he does not object, she must do what she promised [DOU].

അവൾ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഭാര്യയാകയും ഭർത്താവു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചകളും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

8 But if her husband hears about it and does not allow her to do that, she does not need to do what she promised, and Yahweh will forgive her for not doing what she promised.

എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവു അതു കേട്ട നാളിൽ അവളോടു വിലക്കിയാൽ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചയും അവൾ വിചാരിക്കാതെ നിശ്ചയിച്ചുപോയ പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും അവൻ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു; യഹോവ അവളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

9 “If a widow or a woman who has been divorced makes a promise, she must do what she promised.

വിധവയോ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവളോ ചെയ്യുന്ന നേർച്ചയും പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും എല്ലാം അവളുടെ മേൽ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

10 “If a woman who is married promises [DOU] to do something,

അവൾ ഭർത്താവിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽവെച്ചു നേരുകയോ ഒരു പരിവർജ്ജനശപഥം ചെയ്കയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടു

11 and if her husband hears about it but does not object, she must do what she promised.

ഭർത്താവു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ മിണ്ടാതെയും അവളോടു വിലക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചകൾ ഒക്കെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും എല്ലാം സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

12 But if he hears about it and does not allow her to do that, she does not need to do what she promised, and Yahweh will forgive her for not doing it.

എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവു കേട്ട നാളിൽ അവയെ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തി എങ്കിൽ നേർച്ചകളോ പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതമോ സംബന്ധിച്ചു അവളുടെ നാവിന്മേൽനിന്നു വീണതൊന്നും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കയില്ല; അവളുടെ ഭർത്താവു അതിനെ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ അവളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

13 A woman’s husband may require her to do what she has promised, or he may not allow her to do what she has promised.

ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്‌വാനുള്ള ഏതു നേർച്ചയും പരിവർജ്ജനശപഥവും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുവാനോ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തുവാനോ ഭർത്താവിന്നു അധികാരം ഉണ്ടു.

14 If he does not object for several days [after he hears about it], she must do what she promised.

എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവു ഒരിക്കലും ഒന്നും മിണ്ടിയില്ല എങ്കിൽ അവൻ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേർച്ചയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച സകലപരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. കേട്ട നാളിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവയെ സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

15 But if he waits a long time after she has promised to do something and then he tells her that he will not permit her to do it, if she does not do what she promised, [she will not be punished]; her husband is the one whom [Yahweh] will punish.”

എന്നാൽ കേട്ടിട്ടു കുറെ കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം അവയെ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ അവൻ അവളുടെ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കും.

16 Those are the rules that Yahweh gave to Moses/me for husbands and wives, and for young women who are still living with their parents.

ഭാര്യാഭർത്താക്കന്മാർ തമ്മിലും അപ്പന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കന്യകയായി പാർക്കുന്ന മകളും അപ്പനും തമ്മിലും പ്രമാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ച ചട്ടങ്ങൾ ഇവ തന്നേ.
