Numbers 30
1 Moses/I spoke with the leaders of the Israeli tribes. He/I told them these commands that Yahweh had given to him/me:
És szólt Mózes Izrael fiai törzseinek fejeihez, mondván: Ez az, amit parancsolt az Örökkévaló:
2 “If a man solemnly promises Yahweh that he will do something, he must do what he promised.
Ha valaki fogadalmat tesz az Örökkévalónak, vagy esküt tesz, hogy megkösse magát megszorítással, meg ne szegje szavát; mind aszerint amint kijön szájából, cselekedjék.
3 “If a young woman who is still living with her parents solemnly promises to Yahweh to do something,
És ha nő tesz fogadalmat az Örökkévalónak vagy megköti magát megszorítással az atyja házában, hajadon korában,
4 and if her father hears about what she promised, and if he does not object, she must do what she promised [DOU].
és meghallja az atyja az ő fogadalmát vagy megszorítását, amellyel megkötötte magát, és hallgat az atyja, akkor fönnállnak minden fogadalmai, és minden megszorítás, amellyel megkötötte magát fenn fog állni.
5 But if her father hears about what she promised and does not allow her to do that, then she does not need to do what she promised. Yahweh will forgive her for not doing what she promised.
Ha azonban megtiltja az atyja neki, amely napon meghallja, minden fogadalmai és megszorításai, melyekkel megkötötte magát, nem állnak fenn; az Örökkévaló pedig megbocsát neki, mert az atyja megtiltotta neki.
6 “If a woman promises Yahweh that she will do something, but then she gets married,
Ha pedig férjhez megy és fogadalmai rajta vannak, vagy ajkainak kijelentése, amellyel megkötötte magát,
7 if her husband hears about what she promised to do, and he does not object, she must do what she promised [DOU].
és meghallja a férje, amely napon meghallja és hallgat, akkor fennállnak fogadalmai, és megszorításai, melyekkel megkötötte magát, fönn fognak állni.
8 But if her husband hears about it and does not allow her to do that, she does not need to do what she promised, and Yahweh will forgive her for not doing what she promised.
Ha azonban, amely napon meghallja a férje, megtiltja neki, akkor megsemmisíti fogadalmát, mely rajta van, vagy ajkai kijelentését, mellyel megkötötte magát, az Örökkévaló pedig megbocsát neki.
9 “If a widow or a woman who has been divorced makes a promise, she must do what she promised.
Az özvegy és elvált asszony fogadalma, mindaz, amivel megkötötte magát, fönnáll ránézve.
10 “If a woman who is married promises [DOU] to do something,
Ha pedig férje házában tett fogadalmat, vagy kötötte meg magát megszorítással eskü által,
11 and if her husband hears about it but does not object, she must do what she promised.
és meghallja a férje, de hallgat, nem tiltja meg neki, akkor fennállnak minden fogadalmai, és minden megszorítás, amellyel megkötötte magát, fenn fog állni.
12 But if he hears about it and does not allow her to do that, she does not need to do what she promised, and Yahweh will forgive her for not doing it.
Ha azonban megsemmisíti azokat férje, amely napon meghallja, minden kijelentése ajkainak, akár fogadalmai, akár önmagának megszorításai, nem fog fennállni; férje megsemmisítette azokat és az Örökkévaló megbocsát neki.
13 A woman’s husband may require her to do what she has promised, or he may not allow her to do what she has promised.
Minden fogadalmat és minden megszorító esküt, mely önmaga sanyargatására való, férje erősít meg és férje semmisít meg.
14 If he does not object for several days [after he hears about it], she must do what she promised.
Ha pedig hallgat a férje napról-napra, akkor megerősítette minden fogadalmait, vagy minden megszorításait, melyek rajta vannak; megerősítette azokat, mert hallgatott, amely napon meghallotta.
15 But if he waits a long time after she has promised to do something and then he tells her that he will not permit her to do it, if she does not do what she promised, [she will not be punished]; her husband is the one whom [Yahweh] will punish.”
Ha pedig megsemmisíti azokat, miután hallotta, akkor viselje annak bűnét.
16 Those are the rules that Yahweh gave to Moses/me for husbands and wives, and for young women who are still living with their parents.
