Numbers 3
1 These are some of the things that happened to Aaron and Moses/me when Yahweh spoke to Moses/me on Sinai Mountain.
Ezek pedig Áronnak és Mózesnek szülöttei azon a napon, a melyen szólott az Úr Mózesnek a Sinai hegyen;
2 Aaron’s four sons were Nadab the oldest, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Ezek az Áron fiainak nevei: Az elsőszülött Nádáb, azután Abihú, Eleázár és Ithamár.
3 They were appointed [MTY] (OR, Moses/I appointed them) to be priests.
Ezek Áron fiainak, a felkenetett papoknak nevei, a kiket papi szolgálatra avattak fel.
4 But, while Yahweh was watching, Nadab and Abihu died in the Sinai Desert because they burned [incense] in a manner that was different from what Yahweh had commanded. They had no sons, so Eleazar and Ithamar were the [only] sons of Aaron who [were left to be] priests, along with their father Aaron.
De Nádáb és Abihú meghala az Úr előtt, mikor idegen tűzzel áldozának az Úr előtt a Sinai pusztájában, fiaik pedig nem valának nékik. Eleázár és Ithamár viselék azért a papságot, Áronnak, az ő atyjoknak színe előtt.
5 Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,
Szóla pedig az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
6 “Bring [the men of] the tribe of Levi and present them to Aaron, in order that they may assist him.
Hozd elő Lévi törzsét, és állassad Áron pap elé, hogy szolgáljanak néki.
7 They will serve Aaron and all the other Israeli people, while they do their work inside the Sacred Tent and outside it.
És ügyeljenek az ő ügyére, és az egész gyülekezet ügyére a gyülekezet sátora előtt, hogy végezhessék a hajlék körül való szolgálatot.
8 They must serve all the Israeli people by taking care of all the things that are inside the Sacred Tent.
Ügyeljenek pedig a gyülekezet sátorának minden eszközére is, és Izráel fiainak ügyeire is, hogy végezhessék a hajlék körül való szolgálatot.
9 Appoint them to [help] Aaron and his two sons. I have chosen them from all the Israeli people to do that.
És adjad a lévitákat Áronnak és az ő fiainak; mert valóban néki adattak Izráel fiaitól.
10 Appoint Aaron and his two sons to do the work that priests do. But anyone else who comes close to the Sacred Tent [to do that work] must be executed.”
Áront pedig és az ő fiait rendeld föléjök, hogy őrizzék az ő papságukat; és ha idegen járulna oda, haljon meg.
11 Yahweh also told Moses/me,
Szóla azután az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
12 “Note that from all the Israelis, I have chosen the men of the tribe of Levi to take the places of all the firstborn sons of the Israeli people. The male descendants of Levi belong to me,
Ímé én kiválasztottam a lévitákat Izráel fiai közül, minden elsőszülött helyett, a mely az ő anyjának méhét megnyitja Izráel fiai között: azért legyenek a léviták enyéim.
13 because truly all the firstborn [males] belong to me. That is because on the day that I killed all the firstborn [sons] of the people of Egypt, I [spared] all the firstborn [sons] of the Israelis and set them apart for myself. I also set apart the firstborn [males] of your domestic animals. They belong to me, Yahweh.”
Mert enyém minden elsőszülött; a mikor megöltem minden elsőszülöttet Égyiptom földén, magamnak szenteltem minden elsőszülöttet Izráelben; akár ember, akár barom, enyéim legyenek: én vagyok az Úr.
14 Yahweh spoke to Moses/me again in the Sinai Desert. He said,
Szóla azután az Úr Mózesnek a Sinai pusztájában, mondván:
15 “Count the male members of the tribe of Levi. Write down their names and the names of their clans and family groups. Count all the males who are at least one month old.”
Számláld meg Lévi fiait az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint, az ő nemzetségeik szerint; egy hónapostól fogva, és azon felül minden fineműt számlálj meg.
16 So Moses/I counted them, just as Yahweh commanded.
Megszámlálá azért Mózes őket az Úr szava szerint, a miképen meghagyatott vala néki.
17 Levi had [three] sons, whose names were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
És ezek voltak a Lévi fiai az ő neveik szerint: Gerson, Kéhát és Mérári.
18 Gershon had [two] sons: Libni and Shimei. The clans that were descended from them had the same names as those [two] sons.
Ezek pedig a Gerson fiainak nevei az ő nemzetségök szerint: Libni és Simhi.
19 Kohath had [four] sons: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. The clans that were descended from them had the same names as those [four] sons.
Továbbá a Kéhát fiai az ő nemzetségök szerint: Amrám és Iczhár, Hebron és Uzziél.
20 Merari had [two] sons: Mahli and Mushi. The clans that were descended from them had the same names as those [two] sons. Those are the clans that were descended from Levi.
A Mérári fiai pedig az ő nemzetségök szerint: Makhli és Músi. Ezek a Lévi nemzetségei, az ő atyáiknak háznépe szerint.
21 The two clans descended from Gershon are those that were descended from [his sons] Libni and Shimei.
Gersontól valók a Libni nemzetsége és a Simhi nemzetsége; ezek a Gersoniták nemzetségei.
22 In those two clans there were 7,500 males who were at least one month old.
Az ő megszámláltjaik, az egy hónapostól fogva és feljebb minden fineműnek száma szerint, az ő megszámláltjaik: hétezer és ötszáz.
23 They were told to set up their tents on the west side of the Sacred Tent.
A Gersoniták nemzetségei a hajlék megett járjanak tábort nyugot felől.
24 The leader of those two clans was Eliasaph, the son of Lael.
És a Gersoniták atyái háznépének fejedelme legyen Eliásáf, a Láél fia.
25 Their work was to take care of the Sacred Tent, including the coverings of the tent, the curtain at the entrance of the tent,
A Gerson fiainak tiszte pedig: ügyelni a gyülekezet sátorában, a hajlékra, a sátorra, annak takarójára, és a gyülekezet sátora nyílásának leplére.
26 the (curtains/large pieces of cloth) that formed the walls around the courtyard that is around the tent and around the altar, the curtains that were at the entrance of the courtyard, and the ropes [for fastening the tent]. They also did all the work of taking care of the things outside the Sacred Tent.
Továbbá a pitvarnak szőnyegeire, és a pitvar nyílásának leplére, a mely van a hajlékon és az oltáron köröskörül, és annak köteleire, és minden azzal járó szolgálatra.
27 The clans that were descended from Kohath were those descended from his four sons: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
Kéháttól való pedig az Amrám nemzetsége, az Iczhár nemzetsége, a Hebron nemzetsége és az Uzziél nemzetsége: Ezek Kéhátnak nemzetségei.
28 In those four clans there were 8,600 males who were at least one month old. The work of the men of the clans was to take care of [the things that are inside] the Sacred Tent.
Minden fineműnek száma szerint, egy hónapostól fogva és feljebb, nyolczezeren és hatszázan valának a szenthelynek őrizői.
29 They set up their tents on the south side of the Sacred Tent.
A Kéhát fiainak nemzetségei a hajlék oldala mellett dél felől járjanak tábort.
30 The leader of those four clans was Elizaphan, the son of Uzziel.
És a Kéhátiták nemzetségének, az ő atyái háznépének fejedelme legyen Elisáfán, Uzziélnek fia.
31 The work of the men of those clans was to take care of the sacred chest, the table [on which the priest put the sacred bread], the lampstand, the altars, all the items that the priest used in the Sacred Tent, and the curtain that is inside the tent. Their work was also to take care of the things inside the tent.
Az ő tisztök pedig, ügyelni a ládára, az asztalra, a gyertyatartóra, az oltárokra és a szenthelynek edényeire, a melyekkel szolgálnak, és a takaróra, és minden azzal járó szolgálatra.
32 Aaron’s son Eleazar was the leader of all the male descendants of Levi. He supervised all the work that was done at the Sacred Tent.
Továbbá a léviták fejedelmeinek fejedelme legyen Eleázár, Áron pap fia: a szenthelyre ügyelőknek előljárója.
33 The clans that were descended from Merari were those descended from [his sons] Mahli and Mushi.
Méráritól való a Makhli és Músi nemzetségei; ezek a Mérári nemzetségei.
34 In those two clans there were 6,200 males who were at least one month old.
Az ő megszámláltjaik pedig minden fineműnek száma szerint, egy hónapostól fogva és feljebb: hatezer és kétszáz.
35 They were told to set up their tents on the north side of the Sacred Tent. The leader of those two clans was Zuriel, the son of Abihail.
És a Mérári nemzetségének, az ő atyái háznépének fejedelme legyen Suriel, az Abihail fia; a hajléknak észak felől való oldala mellett járjanak tábort.
36 The work of the men of those two clans was to take care of the frames that held up the tent, the crossbars, the pillars, and the bases. They also did all the work that was connected with those items.
A Mérári fiainak pedig tisztök legyen felügyelni: a hajlék deszkáira, annak reteszrúdaira, oszlopaira és annak talpaira, minden edényeire és minden azzal járó szolgálatra;
37 Their work was also to take care of the posts [that held up the curtains that formed the walls of] the courtyard, and all the bases, tent pegs, and ropes [that fastened those curtains].
Továbbá a pitvar körül való oszlopokra és azoknak talpaira, szegeire és köteleire.
38 Aaron and Moses/I and Aaron’s sons were told to set up their/our tents in the area in front of the Sacred Tent, on the east side. Their/Our work was to supervise the work that would be done in and around the Sacred Tent, for the benefit of the Israeli people. Only the priests were permitted to do that. [Yahweh declared that] we should execute anyone else who went near the tent [to do the work that the priests do].
A hajlék előtt keletre, a gyülekezet sátora előtt naptámadat felől, Mózes, Áron és az ő fiai járjanak tábort, a kik felügyelnek a szenthely szolgálatára, és Izráel fiainak ügyeire; ha pedig idegen járulna oda, haljon meg.
39 When Aaron and Moses/I counted all the males who were at least one month old, who belonged to the clans descended from Levi, the total was 22,000.
A léviták minden megszámláltja, a kiket Mózes és Áron az Úr rendeletére nemzetségenként számláltak vala meg, minden finemű, az egy hónapostól fogva és feljebb: huszonkét ezer.
40 Then Yahweh said to Moses/me, “Now count all the [other] firstborn males in Israel who are at least one month old, and write down their names.
És monda az Úr Mózesnek: Számláld meg Izráel fiainak minden finemű elsőszülöttét, egy hónapostól fogva és feljebb, és pedig névszerint számláld meg őket.
41 Also, set apart for me the descendants of Levi to be substitutes for the firstborn males of the other Israelis. And set apart for me the livestock of the descendants of Levi to be substitutes for the firstborn livestock of the other Israeli people.”
És válaszd a lévitákat nékem (én vagyok az Úr) az Izráel fiai közül való minden elsőszülött helyett; és a léviták barmait, Izráel fiai barmainak minden első fajzása helyett.
42 So Moses/I did that. He/I counted the firstborn males of all the Israeli people, as Yahweh had commanded.
Megszámlálá azért Mózes, a mint parancsolta vala néki az Úr, Izráel fiainak minden elsőszülöttét.
43 The total of those who were at least one month old was 22,273.
És lőn minden finemű elsőszülött a nevek száma szerint, egy hónapostól fogva és feljebb, az ő megszámláltjaik: huszonkét ezer kétszáz és hetvenhárom.
44 Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,
És szóla az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:
45 “Set apart the descendants of Levi to be substitutes for [the firstborn males of] the other Israeli people. The descendants of Levi belong to me, Yahweh.
Válaszd a lévitákat az Izráel fiai közül való minden elsőszülött helyett; és a léviták barmait az ő barmaik helyett, és legyenek enyéim a léviták. Én vagyok az Úr.
46 There are 273 more firstborn males of the other Israeli people than of the descendants of Levi.
A mi pedig a kétszáz és hetvenháromnak megváltását illeti, a kik felül vannak a lévitákon Izráel fiainak elsőszülöttei közül:
47 To pay for these 273 males, collect five pieces of silver for each of them. Each of those pieces of silver must weigh the same as each of the silver coins that are stored in the Sacred Tent. Give this silver to Aaron and his sons.”
Végy öt-öt siklust fejenként; a szent siklus szerint vedd azt, (húsz géra egy siklus).
És add azt a pénzt Áronnak és az ő fiainak, váltságul a köztök lévő számfelettiekért.
49 So Moses/I did that. He/I collected the silver from those 273 males.
Bevevé azért Mózes a váltságpénzt azoktól, a kik felül voltak a lévitáktól megváltottakon.
50 The total was 1,365 pieces of silver. Each silver coin weighed the same as each of the silver coins stored in the Sacred Tent.
Izráel fiainak elsőszülöttitől vevé be e pénzt: ezer háromszáz és hatvanöt siklust, a szent siklus szerint.
51 Moses/I gave these silver coins to Aaron and his sons, as Yahweh had commanded.
És adá Mózes a megváltottaknak pénzét Áronnak és az ő fiainak, az Úr rendelete szerint, a miképen parancsolta az Úr Mózesnek.
