< Numbers 2 >
1 Then Yahweh said this to Aaron and Moses/me:
Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose ne Aaron sɛ:
2 “When the Israelis set up their tents, they should set them up in areas that surround the Sacred Tent, but not close to it. The people of each tribe must set up their tents in a different area. Each tribe must erect in that area a banner of their own clan and a flag that represents their tribe.
“Abusua biara bɛnya nʼafa wɔ atenaeɛ hɔ, na ekuo biara bɛtena nʼabusua frankaa ase. Na mmusua no atenaeɛ ahodoɔ no mfimfini na wɔde Ahyiaeɛ Ntomadan no bɛsi.”
3 The people of the tribes of Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun must set up their tents on the east side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and the number of soldiers whom they will lead: Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, will be the leader of the 74,600 men of the tribe of Judah.
Apueeɛ fam, baabi a owia pue firi hɔ no na ɛsɛ sɛ Yuda nnipa nkyekyɛmu ahodoɔ no nyinaa bɔ wɔn atenaeɛ wɔ wɔn frankaa ase. Yudafoɔ ntuanoni ne Aminadab ba Nahson.
Na ne dɔm no ano si mpem aduɔson ɛnan ne ahansia.
5 Nethanel, the son of Zuar, will be the leader of the 54,500 men of the tribe of Issachar.
Isakar abusuakuo na wɔbɛdi so. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Suar babarima Netanel.
Na ne dɔm no ano si mpem aduonum ɛnan ne ahanan.
7 Eliab, the son of Helon, will be the leader of the 57,400 men of the tribe of Zebulun.
Sebulon abusuakuo na wɔbɛdi so. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Helon babarima Eliab.
Na ne dɔm no ano si mpem aduonum nson ne ahanan.
9 So there will be 86,400 troops on the east side [of the Sacred Tent]. Whenever the Israelis move to a new location, those three tribes must go in front of the others.
Enti na nnipa dodoɔ a wɔwɔ Yuda atenaeɛ no nyinaa sɛdeɛ wɔn nkyekyɛmu teɛ no ano si mpem ɔha aduɔwɔtwe nsia ne ahanan. Sɛ Israelfoɔ no tu a, saa mmusuakuo mmiɛnsa yi na ɛdi ɛkan.
10 The tribes of Reuben, Simeon, and Gad must set up their tents on the south side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and the number of men whom they will lead: Elizur, the son of Shedeur, will be the leader of the 46,500 men of the tribe of Reuben.
Anafoɔ fam na Ruben nnipa nkyekyɛmu ahodoɔ no nyinaa bɛbɔ wɔn atenaeɛ de wɔn frankaa asi. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Sedeur babarima Elisur.
Ne dɔm ano si mpem aduanan nsia ne ahanum.
12 Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai, will be the leader of the 59,300 men of the tribe of Simeon.
Simeon abusuakuo na wɔbɛdi so. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Surisadai babarima Selumiel.
Ne dɔm ano si mpem aduonum nkron ne ahasa.
14 Eliasaph, the son of Deuel, will be the leader of the 45,650 men of the tribe of Gad.
Gad abusuakuo na wɔbɛdi so. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Reuel babarima Eliasaf.
Na ne dɔm ano si mpem aduanan enum ahansia ne aduonum.
16 So there will be 151,450 troops on the south side of the Sacred Tent. Those three tribes will follow the first group [when the Israelis travel].
Na mmarima a wɔwɔ Ruben atenaeɛ ne sɛdeɛ wɔn nkyekyɛmu teɛ no ano si mpem ɔha aduonum baako ahanan ne aduonum. Na sɛ Israelfoɔ tu a, wɔn na wɔtɔ so mmienu.
17 Behind that group will walk the descendants of Levi, who will carry the Sacred Tent. The Israelis will march in the same order that they always set up their tents. Each tribe will carry its own flag.
Afei Lewifoɔ no de Ahyiaeɛ Ntomadan bɛfiri wɔn atenaeɛ mfimfini hɔ akɔ. Mmusuakuo no nyinaa bɛkɔ no nnidisoɔ sɛdeɛ wɔn atenaeɛ nhyehyɛeɛ teɛ, wɔ wɔn mmusuakuo mfrankaa akyi.
18 The tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin must set up their tents on the west side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and number of men whom they will lead: Elishama, the son of Ammihud, will be the leader of the 40,500 men of the tribe of Ephraim.
Efraim abusuakuo bɛfa atenaeɛm hɔ atɔeɛ fam adi wɔn abusua frankaa akyi. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Amihud babarima Elisama.
Ne dɔm ano si mpem aduanan ne ahanum.
20 Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur, will be the leader of the 32,200 men of the tribe of Manasseh.
Manase abusuakuo na wɔbɛdi so. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Pedahsur babarima Gamaliel.
Ne dɔm ano si mpem aduasa mmienu ne ahanum.
22 Abidan, the son of Gideoni, will be the leader of the 35,400 men of the tribe of Benjamin.
Benyamin abusuakuo na wɔdi so. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Gideoni babarima Abidan.
Ne dɔm ano si mpem aduasa enum ne ahanan.
24 So there will be 108,100 troops on the west side of the Sacred Tent. Those three tribes will follow the second group, [behind the descendants of Levi].
Na mmarima a wɔwɔ Efraim atenaeɛ ne sɛdeɛ wɔn nkyekyɛmu teɛ no ano si mpem ɔha ne nnwɔtwe ne ɔha baako. Na sɛ Israelfoɔ tu a, wɔn na wɔtɔ so mmiɛnsa.
25 The tribes of Dan, Asher, and Naphtali must set up their tents on the north side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and the number of men whom they will lead: Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai, will be the leader of the 62,700 men of the tribe of Dan.
Dan abusuakuo bɛfa atifi fam adi wɔn abusua frankaa akyi. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Amisadai babarima Ahieser.
Ne dɔm ano si mpem aduosia mmienu ne ahanson.
27 Pagiel, the son of Ocran, will be the leader of the 41,500 men of the tribe of Asher.
Aser abusuakuo no bɛdi so. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Okran babarima Pagiel.
Ne dɔm ano si mpem aduanan baako ne ahanum.
29 Ahira, the son of Enan, will be the leader of the 53,400 men of the tribe of Naphtali.
Naftali abusuakuo no bɛdi so. Wɔn ntuanoni ne Enan ba Ahira.
Ne dɔm ano si mpem aduonum mmiɛnsa ne ahanan.
31 So there will be 157,600 troops on the north side of the Sacred Tent. Those three tribes will be last. They must carry their own flags when the Israelis travel.”
Mmarima a wɔwɔ Dan atenaeɛ no ano si mpem ɔha aduonum nson ne ahansia.
32 So there were 603,550 Israeli men who were able to fight who were listed according to their families’ ancestors.
Sei na Israelfoɔ a wɔkan wɔn mmusuakuo mmusuakuo no teɛ. Wɔn a wɔwɔ atenaeɛ hɔ nyinaa, sɛdeɛ wɔn nkyekyɛmu teɛ no ano si mpem ahansia ne mmiɛnsa ahanum ne aduonum.
33 But just as Yahweh had commanded, the names of the descendants of Levi were not included.
Sɛdeɛ Awurade hyɛɛ Mose no, wɔankan Lewifoɔ no anka Israelfoɔ no ho.
34 The Israelis did everything that Yahweh had told Moses/me. They set up their tents close to their tribal flags, and when they traveled [to a new location, they walked] with their own clans and family groups.
Enti Israelfoɔ yɛɛ biribiara sɛdeɛ Awurade hyɛɛ Mose no. Wɔbobɔɔ wɔn atenaeɛ, tenatenaa wɔn frankaa ahodoɔ ase, na wɔnantee nnidisoɔ nnidisoɔ sɛdeɛ wɔn mmusua ne wɔn afie teɛ.
