Nehemiah 11
1 The [Israeli] leaders [and their families] settled in the sacred city, Jerusalem. The other people (cast lots/threw marked stones) to determine which family from each ten families would live in Jerusalem. The other people continued to live in the other towns and cities [in Judea].
И населише се кнезови народни у Јерусалиму, а остали народ мета жреб да узму једног од десет да седи у јерусалиму светом граду, и осталих девет делова по другим градовима.
2 Those people [asked God to] bless those who volunteered to [be among the 10% who] moved to Jerusalem.
И благослови народ све људе који сами од своје воље присташе да седе у Јерусалиму.
3 [Some of] the priests, [some of] the [other] descendants of Levi, [some of] the temple workers, and the descendants of King Solomon’s servants, and many of the other people lived on their own property in the towns [where their ancestors had lived].
Ово су главари земаљски који се населише у Јерусалиму, а по осталим градовима јудејским настанише се сваки на свом наследству по градовима својим Израиљци свештеници и Левити, Нетинеји и синови слуга Соломунових:
4 But some people from the tribes of Judah and Benjamin [decided to] live in Jerusalem. One of them from the tribe of Judah was Athaiah. He was the son of Uzziah, who was the son of Zechariah, who was the son of Amariah, who was the son of Shephatiah, who was the son of Mahalalel, who was a descendant of [Judah’s son] Perez.
У Јерусалиму, дакле, населише се неки од синова Јудиних и Венијаминових: од синова Јудиних: Атаја син Озије, сина Захарије, сина Амарије, сина Сефатије, сина Малелеиловог, од синова Фаресових;
5 [Another one from the tribe of Judah was] Maaseiah, [who was] the son of Baruch, [who was] the son of Colhozeh, [who was] the son of Hazaiah, [who was] the son of Adaiah, [who was] the son of Joiarib, [who was] the son of Zechariah, [who was] a descendant of [Judah’s son] Shelah.
И Масија, син Варуха сина Холозе сина Азаје, сина Адаје, сина Јојарива сина Захрије, сина Силонијевог;
6 There were 468 men who were descendants of Perez who were valiant/courageous soldiers who lived in Jerusalem.
Свега синова Фаресових што се населише у Јерусалиму, четири стотине и шездесет и осам храбрих људи;
7 [One of the men] of the tribe of Benjamin who decided to live in Jerusalem was Sallu, the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah.
А између синова Венијаминових: Салуј син Месулама, сина Јоада, сина Федаје, сина Колаје, сина Масија, сина Итила, сина Исаијиног,
8 Two of Sallu’s relatives, Gabbai and Sallai, also settled in Jerusalem. Altogether, 928 people from the tribe of Benjamin settled in Jerusalem
И за њим Гава, Салај девет стотина и двадесет и осам;
9 Their leader was Joel, son of Zichri. The official who was second in command in Jerusalem was Hassenuah.
А Јоило, син Захријев беше над њима, а Јуда син Сенујин беше други над градом;
10 The priests [who settled in Jerusalem] were Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jakin,
Од свештеника: Једаја син Јојавов, Јахин,
11 Seraiah, the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub [who had previously been] the Supreme Priest.
Сераја син Хелкије, сина Месулама, сина Садока, сина Мерајота, сина Ахитововог, старешина у дому Божјем,
12 Altogether, 822 members of that clan worked in the temple. Another [priest who settled in Jerusalem] was Adaiah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah.
А браће њихове што служаху у дому осам стотина и двадесет и два; и Адаја, син Јероама, сина Фелалије, сина Амсија, сина Захарије, сина Пасхора, сина Малхијиног,
13 Altogether, there were 242 members of that clan who were leaders of the clan [who settled in Jerusalem]. Another [priest who settled in Jerusalem] was Amashsai the son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer.
И браће његове главара у домовима отачким двеста и четрдесет и два; и Амасај, син Азреила, сина Азаја; сина Месилемота, сина Имировог,
14 There were 128 members of that clan who were valiant soldiers [who settled in Jerusalem]. Their leader was Zabdiel the son of Haggedolim.
И браће њихове храбрих људи сто и двадесет и осам, а над њима беше Завдило, син Гедолимов;
15 Another descendant of Levi who settled in Jerusalem was Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni.
И од Левита: Семаја сина Асува сина Азрикама, сина Асавије, сина Вунијевог;
16 Two others were Shabbethai and Jozabad, who were prominent men who supervised the work outside the temple.
И Саветај, и Јозавад беху над послом спољашњим за дом Божји између главара левитских,
17 Another one was Mattaniah, the son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph. Mattaniah directed the temple choir when they sang the prayers to thank [God]. His assistant was Bakbukiah. Another one was Abda, the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
А Матанија, син Михе сина Завдија сина Асафовог беше поглавар који почињаше хвалу у молитви, и Ваквукија други између браће своје, и Авда син Салије сина Галала сина Једутуновог;
18 Altogether, there were 284 descendants of Levi who settled in Jerusalem.
Свега Левита у светом граду беше две стотине и осамдесет и четири;
19 The men who guarded the temple gates were Akkub and Talmon and 172 of their relatives who settled in Jerusalem.
А од вратара: Акув, Талмон, и браћа њихова што чуваху стражу на вратима, сто и седамдесет и два;
20 The other Israeli people including priests and [other] descendants of Levi lived on their own property in other towns and cities in Judea.
А остатак народа Израиљевог, свештеника и Левита беше по свим градовима Јудиним, свак на свом наследству;
21 But the temple workers lived on Ophel [Hill in Jerusalem]. They were supervised by Ziha and Gishpa.
А Нетинеји населише се у Офилду, и Сиха и Гиспа беху над Нетинејима.
22 The man who supervised the [other] descendants of Levi who [helped the priests and] lived in Jerusalem was Uzzi, the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica. Uzzi belonged to the clan of Asaph, the clan that was in charge of the music in the temple.
А над Левитима у јерусалиму беше Озија, син Ванија, сина Асавије, сина Матаније, сина Мишиног. Између синова Асафових, певачи беху у служби за дом Божји.
23 The king [of Persia] had commanded that the clans should decide what each clan should do to lead the music in the temple each day.
Јер беше царева заповест за њих и беше одређена плата певачима за сваки дан.
24 Pethahiah, the son of Meshezabel, [who was] from the clan of Zerah and a descendant of Judah, was the ambassador [of the Israelis] to the king of Persia.
И Петаја, син Месизавеилов од синова Заре сина Јудиног беше место цара за сваки посао с народом.
25 Some of the people [who did not settle in Jerusalem] lived in villages close to their farms. Some from the tribe of Judah lived in villages near Kiriath-Arba, Dibon, and Jekabzeel [cities].
А по селима и пољима њиховим неко од синова Јудиних настани се у Киријат-Арви и засеоцима њеним, и у Дивону и засеоцима његовим, и у Јекавсеилу и селима његовим,
26 Some lived in Jeshua [city], in Moladah [city], in Beth-Pelet [city],
И у Јесуји и Молади и Вет-Фелету,
27 in Hazar-Shual [city], and in Beersheba [city] and the villages near it.
И у Асар-Суалу и Вирсавеји и засеоцима њеним,
28 Others lived in Ziklag [city], in Meconah [city] and the villages near it,
И у Сиклагу и у Мекони и засеоцима њеним,
29 in En-Rimmon [city], in Zorah [city], in Jarmuth [city],
И у Ен-Римону и у Сареји и у Јармоту,
30 in Zanoah [city], in Adullam [city], and in the villages near those cities. Some lived in Lachish [city] and in the nearby villages, and some lived in Azekah [town] and the villages near it. All of those people lived in Judea, in the area between Beersheba [in the south] and Hinnom Valley [in the north, at the edge of Jerusalem].
У Заноји, у Одоламу и селима њиховим, у Лахису с пољем његовим, у Азици и засеоцима њеним. И тако се населише од Вирсавеје до долине Емона.
31 The people of the tribe of Benjamin lived in Geba [city], Micmash [city], Aija [city which is also known as Ai], Bethel [city] and in nearby villages,
А синови Венијаминови населише се од Гаваје у Михамасу и Аји и Ветиљу и засеоцима његовим,
32 in Anathoth [city], in Nob [city], in Ananiah [town],
У Анатоту, у Нову, Ананији,
33 in Hazor [city], in Ramah [city], in Gittaim [city],
У Асору, у Рами, у Гитајиму,
34 in Hadid [city], in Zeboim [town], in Neballat [town],
У Адиду, у Севојиму, у Невалату,
35 in Lod [town], in Ono [town], and in Craftsmen’s Valley.
У Лоду, у Онону, и у долини дрводељској.
36 Some of the groups of the descendants of Levi who had lived in Judea were sent to live with [the people of the tribe of] Benjamin.
А Левити поделише се међу Јудом и Венијамином.
