Matthew 1
1 [This is] the record of the ancestors of Jesus the Messiah, the descendant of [King] David and of Abraham, [from whom all we Jews have descended].
১ইব্রাহীমঃ সন্তানো দাযূদ্ তস্য সন্তানো যীশুখ্রীষ্টস্তস্য পূর্ৱ্ৱপুরুষৱংশশ্রেণী|
2 Abraham was the father of Isaac. Isaac was the father of Jacob. Jacob was the father of Judah and Judah’s [older and younger] brothers.
২ইব্রাহীমঃ পুত্র ইস্হাক্ তস্য পুত্রো যাকূব্ তস্য পুত্রো যিহূদাস্তস্য ভ্রাতরশ্চ|
3 Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah, [and their mother] was Tamar. Perez was the father of Hezron. Hezron was the father of Ram.
৩তস্মাদ্ যিহূদাতস্তামরো গর্ভে পেরস্সেরহৌ জজ্ঞাতে, তস্য পেরসঃ পুত্রো হিষ্রোণ্ তস্য পুত্রো ঽরাম্|
4 Ram was the father of Amminadab. Amminadab was the father of Nahshon. Nahshon was the father of Salmon.
৪তস্য পুত্রো ঽম্মীনাদব্ তস্য পুত্রো নহশোন্ তস্য পুত্রঃ সল্মোন্|
5 Salmon and his wife Rahab, [a non-Jewish woman], were the parents of Boaz. Boaz was the father of Obed. [Obed’s mother was] Ruth, [another non-Jewish woman]. Obed was the father of Jesse.
৫তস্মাদ্ রাহবো গর্ভে বোযম্ জজ্ঞে, তস্মাদ্ রূতো গর্ভে ওবেদ্ জজ্ঞে, তস্য পুত্রো যিশযঃ|
6 Jesse was the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon. [Solomon’s mother was previously married to] Uriah.
৬তস্য পুত্রো দাযূদ্ রাজঃ তস্মাদ্ মৃতোরিযস্য জাযাযাং সুলেমান্ জজ্ঞে|
7 Solomon was the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam was the father of Abijah. Abijah was the father of Asaph.
৭তস্য পুত্রো রিহবিযাম্, তস্য পুত্রোঽবিযঃ, তস্য পুত্র আসা: |
8 Asaph was the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat was the father of Jehoram. Jehoram was an ancestor of Uzziah.
৮তস্য সুতো যিহোশাফট্ তস্য সুতো যিহোরাম তস্য সুত উষিযঃ|
9 Uzziah was the father of Jotham. Jotham was the father of Ahaz. Ahaz was the father of Hezekiah.
৯তস্য সুতো যোথম্ তস্য সুত আহম্ তস্য সুতো হিষ্কিযঃ|
10 Hezekiah was the father of Manasseh. Manasseh was the father of Amon. Amon was the father of Josiah.
১০তস্য সুতো মিনশিঃ, তস্য সুত আমোন্ তস্য সুতো যোশিযঃ|
11 Josiah was the grandfather of Jeconiah and Jeconiah’s brothers. [They lived] at the time when the [Babylonian army] took the Israelites as captives to the [country of] Babylon.
১১বাবিল্নগরে প্রৱসনাৎ পূর্ৱ্ৱং স যোশিযো যিখনিযং তস্য ভ্রাতৃংশ্চ জনযামাস|
12 After the Babylonians took the Israelites to Babylon, Jeconiah became the father of Shealtiel. Shealtiel was the grandfather of Zerubbabel.
১২ততো বাবিলি প্রৱসনকালে যিখনিযঃ শল্তীযেলং জনযামাস, তস্য সুতঃ সিরুব্বাৱিল্|
13 Zerubbabel was the father of Abiud. Abiud was the father of Eliakim.
১৩তস্য সুতো ঽবোহুদ্ তস্য সুত ইলীযাকীম্ তস্য সুতোঽসোর্|
14 Eliakim was the father of Azor. Azor was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Akim.

15 Akim was the father of Eliud. Eliud was the father of Eleazar. Eleazar was the father of Matthan. Matthan was the father of Jacob.

16 Jacob was the father of Joseph. Joseph was Mary’s husband, and Mary was Jesus’ mother. Jesus is the one who is called {whom we call} the Messiah.
১৬তস্য সুতো যাকূব্ তস্য সুতো যূষফ্ তস্য জাযা মরিযম্; তস্য গর্ভে যীশুরজনি, তমেৱ খ্রীষ্টম্ (অর্থাদ্ অভিষিক্তং) ৱদন্তি|
17 [As you can calculate, I have grouped Jesus’] ancestors [as follows: ] There was [a succession of] 14 of them from [the time when] Abraham [lived] to [the time when King] David [lived]. There was [a succession of] 14 of them from [the time when] David [lived] to [the time when] the [Israelites were taken] {[the Babylonian army took the Israelites]} away to Babylon. There was [a succession of] 14 of them from [the time when the Israelites were taken] {[the Babylonian army took the Israelites]} away to Babylon until [the time when] the Messiah [was born].
১৭ইত্থম্ ইব্রাহীমো দাযূদং যাৱৎ সাকল্যেন চতুর্দশপুরুষাঃ; আ দাযূদঃ কালাদ্ বাবিলি প্রৱসনকালং যাৱৎ চতুর্দশপুরুষা ভৱন্তি| বাবিলি প্রৱাসনকালাৎ খ্রীষ্টস্য কালং যাৱৎ চতুর্দশপুরুষা ভৱন্তি|
18 This is [the account of what happened just before] Jesus Christ was born. Mary, his mother, {had publicly promised Joseph that she would marry him} had been publicly promised to marry Joseph. Before they began to sleep together, [Mary] realized that she was pregnant. [It was the power of] the Holy Spirit that had caused her to become pregnant.
১৮যীশুখ্রীষ্টস্য জন্ম কথ্থতে| মরিযম্ নামিকা কন্যা যূষফে ৱাগ্দত্তাসীৎ, তদা তযোঃ সঙ্গমাৎ প্রাক্ সা কন্যা পৱিত্রেণাত্মনা গর্ভৱতী বভূৱ|
19 Joseph, her [future] husband, was a man who obeyed God’s commands. [One of those commands was that men must divorce women who had acted immorally. So when Joseph learned that Mary was pregnant, he assumed that she was pregnant as a result of her acting immorally]. So he decided to break the engagement. But because he did not want to shame her publicly, he decided to do it privately.
১৯তত্র তস্যাঃ পতি র্যূষফ্ সৌজন্যাৎ তস্যাঃ কলঙ্গং প্রকাশযিতুম্ অনিচ্ছন্ গোপনেনে তাং পারিত্যক্তুং মনশ্চক্রে|
20 While he was seriously considering this, much to his surprise, in a dream he saw an angel whom the Lord [had sent]. The angel said, “Joseph, descendant of [King] David, do not be afraid that [you(sg) would be doing wrong if you(sg) would marry] Mary. Instead, [begin to treat her] as your wife, because the Holy Spirit, [not a man], has caused her to be pregnant.
২০স তথৈৱ ভাৱযতি, তদানীং পরমেশ্ৱরস্য দূতঃ স্ৱপ্নে তং দর্শনং দত্ত্ৱা ৱ্যাজহার, হে দাযূদঃ সন্তান যূষফ্ ৎৱং নিজাং জাযাং মরিযমম্ আদাতুং মা ভৈষীঃ|
21 She will give birth to a son. Since it is he who will cause that his people will be saved from [the guilt of] their having sinned, name [the baby] Jesus, [which means ‘the Lord saves people’].”
২১যতস্তস্যা গর্ভঃ পৱিত্রাদাত্মনোঽভৱৎ, সা চ পুত্রং প্রসৱিষ্যতে, তদা ৎৱং তস্য নাম যীশুম্ (অর্থাৎ ত্রাতারং) করীষ্যসে, যস্মাৎ স নিজমনুজান্ তেষাং কলুষেভ্য উদ্ধরিষ্যতি|
22 All this happened as a result of what the Lord told the prophet [Isaiah to write long ago about what was going to happen]. This is what Isaiah wrote:
২২ইত্থং সতি, পশ্য গর্ভৱতী কন্যা তনযং প্রসৱিষ্যতে| ইম্মানূযেল্ তদীযঞ্চ নামধেযং ভৱিষ্যতি|| ইম্মানূযেল্ অস্মাকং সঙ্গীশ্ৱরইত্যর্থঃ|
23 “Listen, a virgin will become pregnant and will give birth to a son. They will call him Emmanuel.” Emmanuel means ‘God is with us’.
২৩ইতি যদ্ ৱচনং পুর্ৱ্ৱং ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱক্ত্রা ঈশ্ৱরঃ কথাযামাস, তৎ তদানীং সিদ্ধমভৱৎ|
24 When Joseph got up from sleep, he did what the angel whom the Lord [had sent] commanded him to do. He took [Mary] home to be his wife.
২৪অনন্তরং যূষফ্ নিদ্রাতো জাগরিত উত্থায পরমেশ্ৱরীযদূতস্য নিদেশানুসারেণ নিজাং জাযাং জগ্রাহ,
25 But he did not have sexual relations with her until she had given birth to a son. And [Joseph] named him Jesus.
২৫কিন্তু যাৱৎ সা নিজং প্রথমসুতং অ সুষুৱে, তাৱৎ তাং নোপাগচ্ছৎ, ততঃ সুতস্য নাম যীশুং চক্রে|
