Leviticus 4

1 Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,

E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:

2 “Say this to the Israeli people: This is what must be done if someone sins without intending to sin, doing something that is forbidden in any of Yahweh’s commands.

Fala aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Quando alguma pessoa pecar por acidente em algum dos mandamentos do SENHOR sobre coisas que não se devem fazer, e agir contra algum deles;

3 'If the Supreme [MTY] Priest sins, and that causes all the people to be guilty, he must bring to Yahweh a young bull that has no defects. That will be an offering for the sin that he has committed.

Se sacerdote ungido pecar segundo o pecado do povo, oferecerá ao SENHOR, por seu pecado que houver cometido, um bezerro sem mácula para expiação.

4 He must bring the bull to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. He must lay his hands on its head. Then he must slaughter it in front of Yahweh [and drain some of the blood into a bowl].

E trará o bezerro à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho diante do SENHOR, e porá sua mão sobre a cabeça do bezerro, e o degolará diante do SENHOR.

5 Then the Supreme Priest must take some of that blood into the Sacred Tent.

E o sacerdote ungido tomará do sangue do bezerro, e a trará ao tabernáculo do testemunho;

6 He must dip [one of] his fingers into the blood and sprinkle it seven times in the presence of Yahweh, in front of the curtain [that separates the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place].

E molhará o sacerdote seu dedo no sangue, e espargirá daquele sangue sete vezes diante do SENHOR, até o véu do santuário.

7 Then he must put some of the blood on the projections at the corners of the altar where fragrant incense is burned in the Sacred Tent in the presence of Yahweh. The remaining part of the bull’s blood [that is still in the bowl], he must pour out at the base of the altar, where sacrifices are burned, at the entrance to the Sacred Tent.

E porá o sacerdote do sangue sobre as pontas do altar do incenso aromático, que está no tabernáculo do testemunho diante do SENHOR: e lançará todo o sangue do bezerro ao pé do altar do holocausto, que está à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho.

8 From that offering the Supreme Priest must separate these things from the bull that is to be burned: The fat that covers the inner parts of the bull or which is attached to them—

E tomará do bezerro para a expiação toda a sua gordura, a gordura que cobre os intestinos, e toda a gordura que está sobre as entranhas,

9 the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

E os dois rins, e a gordura que está sobre eles, e o que está sobre os lombos, e com os rins tirará o redenho de sobre o fígado,

10 Then the Supreme Priest must completely burn those things on the altar. That will be just like when the fat is removed from an animal that is sacrificed to maintain good fellowship [with Yahweh].

Da maneira que se tira do boi do sacrifício pacífico: e o sacerdote o fará arder sobre o altar do holocausto.

11 But all the other parts of the animal—its skin/hide and all its other meat, its head and its legs, its inner parts and the intestines,

E o couro do bezerro, e toda sua carne, com sua cabeça, e suas pernas, e seus intestinos, e seu excremento,

12 he must take outside the camp and throw them in a place that is acceptable to Yahweh, where the ashes are thrown, and he must burn them in a fire on the pile of ashes.

Em fim, todo o bezerro tirará fora do acampamento, a um lugar limpo, onde se lançam as cinzas, e o queimará ao fogo sobre a lenha: onde se lançam as cinzas será queimado.

13 ‘If all the Israeli people sin without intending to sin, doing something that is forbidden in any of Yahweh’s commands, they will be guilty, even if they do not realize that they have sinned.

E se toda a congregação de Israel houver errado, e o negócio estiver oculto aos olhos do povo, e houverem feito algo contra algum dos mandamentos do SENHOR em coisas que não se devem fazer, e forem culpados;

14 When they realize that they have committed a sin, together they must bring a young bull to be an offering for their sin, to the front of the Sacred Tent.

Logo que for entendido o pecado sobre que transgrediram, a congregação oferecerá um bezerro por expiação, e o trarão diante do tabernáculo do testemunho.

15 The elders must lay their hands on the bull’s head in the presence of Yahweh and slaughter it [and catch some of the blood in a bowl].

E os anciãos da congregação porão suas mãos sobre a cabeça do bezerro diante do SENHOR; e em presença do SENHOR degolarão aquele bezerro.

16 Then the Supreme [MTY] Priest must take some of that blood into the Sacred Tent.

E o sacerdote ungido meterá do sangue do bezerro no tabernáculo do testemunho.

17 ‘He must dip [one of] his fingers into the blood and sprinkle it seven times in the presence of Yahweh, in front of the curtain [that separates the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place].

E molhará o sacerdote seu dedo no mesmo sangue, e espargirá sete vezes diante do SENHOR até o véu.

18 Then he must put some of the blood on the projections at the corners of the altar that is in the presence of Yahweh in the Sacred Tent. The remaining part of the bull’s blood, he must pour out at the base of the altar where sacrifices are burned, at the entrance of the Sacred Tent.

E daquele sangue porá sobre as pontas do altar que está diante do SENHOR no tabernáculo do testemunho, e derramará todo o sangue ao pé do altar do holocausto, que está à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho.

19 He must remove all the animal’s fat and burn it on the altar.

E lhe tirará toda a gordura, e a fará arder sobre o altar.

20 He must do with this bull the same things that he did with the bull that was an offering for his own sins, and they will be forgiven {Yahweh will forgive them}.

E fará daquele bezerro como fez com o bezerro da expiação; o mesmo fará dele: assim fará o sacerdote expiação por eles, e obterão perdão.

21 Then the priest must take [the other parts of] the bull outside the camp and burn them, like he does when he himself has sinned. That will be the offering for the sin that all the people have committed, and they will be forgiven.

E tirará o bezerro fora do acampamento, e o queimará como queimou o primeiro bezerro; expiação da congregação.

22 ‘When one of the leaders sins without intending to sin, doing something that is forbidden in any of the commands of Yahweh his God, he will be guilty.

E quando pecar o príncipe, e fizer por acidente algo contra algum de todos os mandamentos do SENHOR seu Deus, sobre coisas que não se devem fazer, e pecar;

23 When he realizes that he has committed a sin, he must bring as his offering a male goat that has no defects.

Logo que lhe for conhecido seu pecado em que transgrediu, apresentará por sua oferta um bode macho sem defeito.

24 He must lay his hands on the goat’s head in the presence of Yahweh and slaughter it at the place where they slaughter {are slaughtered} the animals that will be completely burned [on the altar]. That will be an offering for his sin.

E porá sua mão sobre a cabeça do bode macho, e o degolará no lugar de onde se degola o holocausto diante do SENHOR; é expiação.

25 Then the priest must put some of the animal’s blood [into a bowl] and dip [one of] his fingers in it and put some of the blood on the corners of the projections of the altar. Then he must pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.

E tomará o sacerdote com seu dedo do sangue da expiação, e porá sobre as pontas do altar do holocausto, e derramará o sangue ao pé do altar do holocausto:

26 Then he must burn all the fat on the altar, as was done with the fat of the offering to maintain good fellowship [with Yahweh]. As a result of the priest’s doing that, the leader will no longer be guilty for his sin and he will be forgiven.

E queimará toda a sua gordura sobre o altar, como a gordura do sacrifício pacífico: assim fará o sacerdote por ele a expiação de seu pecado, e terá perdão.

27 ‘If one of the Israeli people who is not a priest sins without intending to sin, and does something that is forbidden in any of the commands of Yahweh his God, he will be guilty.

E se alguma pessoa comum do povo pecar por acidente, fazendo algo contra algum dos mandamentos do SENHOR em coisas que não se devem fazer, e transgredir;

28 When he realizes that he has committed a sin, he must bring as his offering a female goat that has no defects.

Logo que lhe for conhecido seu pecado que cometeu, trará por sua oferta uma fêmea das cabras, uma cabra sem defeito, por seu pecado que haverá cometido:

29 He must lay his hands on the goat’s head and slaughter it at the place where they slaughter the animals that will be completely burned [on the altar, and catch some of the blood in a bowl].

E porá sua mão sobre a cabeça da expiação, e a degolará no lugar do holocausto.

30 Then the priest must dip [one of] his fingers in the blood, and put some of it on the projections at the corners of the altar. Then he must pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.

Logo tomará o sacerdote em seu dedo de seu sangue, e porá sobre as pontas do altar do holocausto, e derramará todo o seu sangue ao pé do altar.

31 Then he must remove all the goat’s fat, and burn all the fat on the altar, like was done with the fat of the offering to maintain fellowship [with Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. As a result of the priest doing that, the person will no longer be guilty for his sin, and he will be forgiven.

E lhe tirará toda a sua gordura, da maneira que foi tirada a gordura do sacrifício pacífico; e o sacerdote a fará arder sobre o altar em cheiro suave ao SENHOR: assim fará o sacerdote expiação por ele, e será perdoado.

32 ‘If that person brings a lamb to be his offering for sin, he must bring a female lamb that has no defects.

E se trouxer cordeiro para sua oferta pelo pecado, fêmea sem defeito trará.

33 He must lay his hands on the lamb’s head and slaughter it at the place where they slaughter the animals that will be completely burned [on the altar, and catch some of the blood in a bowl].

E porá sua mão sobre a cabeça da expiação, e a degolará por expiação no lugar onde se degola o holocausto.

34 Then the priest must dip [one of] his fingers in the blood and put some of it on the projections at the corners of the altar. Then he must pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.

Depois tomará o sacerdote com seu dedo do sangue da expiação, e porá sobre as pontas do altar do holocausto; e derramará todo o sangue ao pé do altar.

35 Then he must remove all the lamb’s fat, and burn all the fat on the altar, like was done with the fat of the offering to maintain fellowship [with Yahweh]. He must burn it on top of the other offerings to Yahweh that are being burned. As a result, the priest will request God to forgive that person for his sin, and he will be forgiven.’”

E lhe tirará toda a sua gordura, como foi tirada a gordura do sacrifício pacífico, e a fará o sacerdote arder no altar sobre a oferta acesa ao SENHOR: e lhe fará o sacerdote expiação de seu pecado que haverá cometido, e será perdoado.
