Leviticus 3
1 [“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.
Nel caso che la sua offerta sia un sacrificio di comunione e se offre un capo di bestiame grosso, sarà un maschio o una femmina, senza difetto; l'offrirà davanti al Signore,
2 You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
poserà la mano sulla testa della vittima e la immolerà all'ingresso della tenda del convegno e i figli di Aronne, i sacerdoti, spargeranno il sangue attorno all'altare.
3 From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—
Di questo sacrificio di comunione offrirà come sacrificio consumato dal fuoco in onore del Signore il grasso che avvolge le viscere e tutto quello che vi è sopra,
4 the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
i due reni con il loro grasso e il grasso attorno ai lombi e al lobo del fegato, che distaccherà al di sopra dei reni;
5 Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.
i figli di Aronne lo bruceranno sull'altare, sopra l'olocausto, posto sulla legna che è sul fuoco: è un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo soave per il Signore.
6 If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.
Se la sua offerta di sacrificio di comunione per il Signore è di bestiame minuto sarà un maschio o una femmina, senza difetto.
7 If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].
Se presenta una pecora in offerta, la offrirà davanti al Signore;
8 Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.
poserà la mano sulla testa della vittima e la immolerà davanti alla tenda del convegno; i figli di Aronne ne spargeranno il sangue attorno all'altare;
9 You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—
di questo sacrificio di comunione offrirà quale sacrificio consumato dal fuoco per il Signore il grasso e cioè l'intiera coda presso l'estremità della spina dorsale, il grasso che avvolge le viscere e tutto quello che vi è sopra,
10 the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
i due reni con il loro grasso e il grasso attorno ai lombi e al lobo del fegato, che distaccherà al di sopra dei reni;
11 One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].
il sacerdote li brucerà sull'altare: è un alimento consumato dal fuoco per il Signore.
12 ‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.
Se la sua offerta è una capra, la offrirà davanti al Signore;
13 You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
poserà la mano sulla sua testa e la immolerà davanti alla tenda del convegno; i figli di Aronne ne spargeranno il sangue attorno all'altare.
14 From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,
Di essa preleverà, come offerta consumata dal fuoco in onore del Signore, il grasso che avvolge le viscere, tutto quello che vi è sopra,
15 the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
i due reni con il loro grasso e il grasso attorno ai lombi e al lobo del fegato, che distaccherà al di sopra dei reni;
16 The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.
il sacerdote li brucerà sull'altare: è un cibo consumato dal fuoco per il Signore. Ogni parte grassa appartiene al Signore.
17 ‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”
E' una prescrizione rituale perenne per le vostre generazioni in ogni vostra dimora: non dovrete mangiare né grasso né sangue».
