Leviticus 3

1 [“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.

Hogyha hálaáldozattal áldozik valaki, ha tulokféléből, akár hímmel, akár nősténynyel áldozik: ép barmot vigyen az Úr elé.

2 You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.

És tegye a kezét az ő áldozatjának fejére, és ölje meg azt a gyülekezet sátorának nyílásánál, és Áron fiai, a papok, öntsék a vért köröskörül az oltárra.

3 From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—

Azután vigyen a hálaáldozatból tűzáldozatot az Úrnak: a kövérjét, a mely a belet takarja, és mindazt a kövérjét, a mely a belek között van.

4 the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

A két vesét is, és a rajtuk lévő kövérséget, a mely a véknyaknál van, és a májon lévő hártyát a vesékkel együtt vegye el.

5 Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.

És füstölögtessék el azt Áron fiai az oltáron az égőáldozattal együtt a tűzön lévő fán: tűzáldozat ez, kedves illatú az Úrnak.

6 If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.

Hogyha pedig valaki juhféléből áldozik hálaáldozatot az Úrnak, akár hím, akár nőstény legyen az, épekkel áldozzék.

7 If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].

Ha bárányt visz ő az ő áldozatául, vigye azt az Úr elébe.

8 Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.

És tegye a kezét az ő áldozatjának fejére, azután ölje meg azt a gyülekezet sátora előtt, és az Áron fiai öntsék a vérét az oltárra köröskörül.

9 You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—

Azután áldozzék az Úrnak e hálaáldozatból tűzáldozatot: a kövérjét, a farkát egészen, a melyet a hátagerézdi végénél vágjon el, és a belét takaró kövérjét, és minden kövérjét, a mely a belek közt van.

10 the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

És a két vesét is, és a rajtuk lévő kövérséget, a mely a véknyaknál van, és a májon lévő hártyát a vesékkel együtt vegye el.

11 One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].

És füstölögtesse el azt a pap az oltáron: tűzáldozati eledel ez az Úrnak.

12 ‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.

Hogyha kecskével áldozik valaki, azt is az Úr elé vigye.

13 You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.

És tegye kezét annak fejére, és ölje meg azt a gyülekezetnek sátora előtt, és öntsék az Áron fiai annak vérét az oltárra körül.

14 From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,

És áldozzék abból tűzáldozatot az Úrnak: a kövérjét, a mely betakarja a belet, és mindazt a kövérjét, a mely a belek között van.

15 the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

A két vesét is, és a rajtuk lévő kövérséget, a mely a véknyaknál van, és a májon lévő hártyát a vesékkel együtt vegye el.

16 The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.

És füstölögtesse el azokat a pap az oltáron tűzáldozati eledelül, kedves illatul. A kövérje mind az Úré legyen.

17 ‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”

Örökkévaló rendtartás legyen a ti nemzetségeiteknél minden ti lakhelyeteken: semmi kövért és semmi vért meg ne egyetek!
